  1. Not at all, still love it! In fact, now that Brady isn't ruining every other super Bowl, it's a lot more fun for me. People say the Bills being in the SB would be stressful, but I don't see it that way. To me, that's fun. Rooting for your team is enjoyable and positive. With Brady and his time with the Patriots especially, it was just negative: wanting someone to lose, which is nowhere near as fun.
  2. Spain was a weird situation, almost like Feliciano. When McBeane pays a guard it's a job killer. The second a guard gets paid here his time with the team as a true contributor is just about over. It's really odd.
  3. He's only 30. IF he wants to play and be closer to home in PA, trade 2 first round picks to the Rams and consider having an unblockable monster at DT next to Ed Oliver for the next 3-4 years a great deal.
  4. People act like the Rams lit their draft picks on fire. They simply traded one asset for another. So they don't have picks, but they have stars. Stars can be traded to other teams for high picks if desired. The Rams could trade a player or two and recoup some high picks.
  5. Spain looks like he's blocking air! LOL
  6. I think that's an old picture from soon after his most recent cancer surgery. Last time I saw him making an appearance he seemed to have gained back a lot of weight and looked pretty good. That said, happy birthday to #12! Looking forward to seeing him celebrate a Bills SB win soon!
  7. First week of the playoffs had blowouts because the NFC is bad overall and only has like 2-3 good teams, IMO. Those #7 seeds making it in are tough, but oddly, I think the best possible quality team that could have been #7 in the AFC (Chargers) didn't make it in.
  8. Don't get me wrong from my post above, I'm not cheering for Mahomes or hoping he wins. I'm just saying it doesn't bother me because there is an upside to it.
  9. Oh, I agree on Brady. Enough already with that soulless ghoul! Mahomes doesn't bother me, and if the Bills aren't in the SB I hope he wins every year that we're not there. 1. I like Andy Reid 2. The more rings Mahomes gets (ONLY IF WE ARE OUT OF IT THAT SEASON) the more Brady will get to experience what it's like to be sitting on the couch while the "new GOAT" is crowned. You can be the GOAT with 4-5 rings if you ALSO retire with every single passing record, career and single season. So being a Brady hater, Mahomes doesn't bother me unless he's in our way.
  10. McDermott needs to call McDermott style defenses when it matters. He is an aggressive defensive coach but when it's time to make a play he gets conservative.
  11. All these super young guys who have made tons of $$ and want to retire early. I guess I can see why. Save the wear and tear on the body (or mind if you're a coach). the only guy who doesn't want to retire is going to be 45 when the next season starts, and seems to be determined to play until he suffers a horrific injury or just looks like the ghost of Big Ben this past season.
  12. Rams are loaded with star players, but the Bengals are all brand new. Burrow has become more of a name in the past few weeks, but the game feels totally different if it were KC/Rams, with both teams loaded with star players and KC being in their 3rd straight SB.
  13. I wouldn't mind trading for a superstar type RB either. We need SPEED and playmaking in that spot, as much as I do still like Singletary. Singletary paired with a speedster and we're set at RB.
  14. I get that feeling, but I think it's just because the biggest names weren't in the game. Of course, the "big name" guys weren't always big name guys either. Back when Brady won his first SB he and the Patriots were like the Bengals. A team that "didn't seem to belong" so who knows
  15. I wouldn't mind seeing it here and there. for example, if the Bills traded a 1st round pick for a DE who could actually make plays in big moments like a Von Miller that would be cool!
  16. Even the end of the game felt half-speed and muted... Kroenke sounded like he was giving a eulogy at a funeral.
  17. I usually roll my eyes a bit at "star power" but this game lacked it. The biggest star QBs in the league (Allen, Rodgers, Brady, Mahomes, Jackson, Wilson) were watching and not one of them was in this game. Stafford is a nice story and I'm glad he won, and Burrow is a nice story but neither is really on the level of the guys mentioned above. That hurt the "feel" of the game to me. Even in a blowout, there's usually that one star QB to carry the show. Often 2. Think of the SB possibilities when the playoffs began: Allen V Brady Allen V Rodgers Mahomes v Rodgers Mahomes V Brady Even Allen or Mahomes V Stafford and the Rams would have been so much better. It seems like a rip in the fabric of the matrix happened and suddenly the Bengals were there. It was not supposed to happen. They don't even have a real practice facility! Part of me wondered if their owner was like "Crap! How much is this team going to cost me now?"
  18. There's way too much text in some of these posts. Makes me think it's all the reasons why we don't get a mountain of a man at DT
  19. Problems with his GM. Problems with team owner. Problems with multiple members of his hand picked coaching staff. Problems with his QB. Throwing his supposed buddy/mentor Belichick under the bus. Minimizing Lovie Smiths hiring by implying it wasn't deserved. Calling Elway an unprofessional drunk. Claiming the Giants are racist because he didn't get the job. ************************* To me, it seems like there is a pattern of behavior on Flores' part.
  20. Man.. this whole game and even the trophy presentation is so muted feeling... Hey Stan you just won the freaking Super Bowl!
  21. I'm as big an NFL fan as anyone and I couldn't tell you the last time I either saw or heard Mike Brown
  22. Bengals gave them chances by panicking at the end and holding
  23. Not really. They missed a pretty obvious facemask that directly resulted in a TD for the Bengals
  24. Kupp caught one game winning TD and held onto the ball after taking a brutal helmet to helmet hit then caught another one
  25. Weird Super Bowl overall... Felt subdued to me.
