  1. Colt McCoy has had a nice career for a somewhat unheralded guy.
  2. If true that's incredible dumb on the Texans part. Are they serious about trading him or not? Offers only go down from there as the offseason rolls on.
  3. His 2 starting guards are gone (Bengals and retirement). Let's hope he looks 45 this year. If that's the case I'm all for it. I want hushed tones and talk of "this is hard to watch" on at least a bi-weekly basis, knowing he'll have his moments.
  4. hurts Brady and the rest is gravy
  5. I'm shocked that the contract is that low! I thought 4 million/year was a pretty decent deal. This is very good value!
  6. Just goes to show that the cap is quite flexible. A guy gets a raise and his cap number goes down by 2 million.
  7. I think it's probably somewhere in the middle. There had to be ambiguity in order to get NY to act to this magnitude. You can't go in saying "I'll never move the team no matter what but please give me a billion dollars." In other words, I'm asking you for an enormous sum of money that you really don't have and probably don't want to give, but if I don't get it it's fine and nothing will happen. I wonder if a lot of the Sabres stuff was an indirect way of getting attention as well. If they moved the team they couldn't also own the Sabres. I hope that in exchange for this historic commitment of taxpayer dollars we got an IRONCLAD 25 year lease, at least.
  8. Maybe we'll finally see Brady look old. It was starting last season. Plus this year Tampa Bay has a brutal schedule. Last year they had a total cupcake schedule.
  9. Excited for this news and love the 2 year deal!
  10. I'm always surprised by their sack numbers, which aren't terrible. I'm seeing 11th in the league but either way, 10th or 11th isn't bad. So I'll give you that one, although it just seems like this defensive line doesn't rise to the occasion when it needs to. As far as "QB pressures" go, that sounds like a subjective stat to me, but that's true of every team's defense not just the Bills. I just want a guy who puts the QB on the ground consistently and the other team needs to fear. Same. Chandler Jones would be an amazing signing! All the young kids can rotate in and out and continue to develop as well, but we need someone proven in there.
  11. how are we so over the cap without a bunch of star players? Just having a QB doesn't mean you can't sign players. The Chiefs seem to be able to do whatever they want, and their guy gets Elon Musk money.
  12. As much as Jerry Hughes has been a good player here for a long time, he hasn't made a memorable play in what seems like forever. Now it's a spin move and hug the tackle until the play is over. We need an upgrade.
  13. pushing out Jimmy Johnson showed that he was clueless There were multiple Super Bowls left to win with that squad. Switzer even won one! But Jimmy would have won that one plus a couple more, IMO.
  14. architects are amazingly talented people... to be able to render a vision into such detail has always fascinated me, not to mention to be able to come up with so many different concepts and understand how it all goes together We recently had an architect draw up plans for our greenhouse and it was like he knew what we wanted better than we did! Just incredible! Expensive too, but worth every penny!
  15. Beane has spent some pretty decent money on the DL but the production hasn't matched the contracts. You shouldn't need an Excel spreadsheet and "advanced stats" to show that a DL gets pressure. Good old simple stats and seeing the QB running for his life or taking sacks works a lot better.
  16. Oh, for sure... it's like credit cards. You can always move debt around and kick the can down the road paying debt with debt. Until you can't! I agree that Payton realized that the bills are coming due and it's no fun coaching without a top QB.
  17. I would never have thought that toe injuries from his playing days could affect Deion this much... Glad to hear that it seems like he is doing better
  18. If not for a well placed DB that's a TD. Watching it is like watching a nightmare!
  19. assuming he really wants to get back here, and given his recent track record, he should come fairly cheap I liked him when he was here, and sometimes new places just aren't a fit.
  20. I know one thing: Denver just became interesting to watch! Before they were awful to watch even though they were not an awful team.
  21. Wagner seems like a McDermott type guy on defense
  22. OK that makes sense... scrolled through too quickly
  23. I don't get it? EDIT: Never mind ... read it too quickly!
