It's the place for him to go, IMO, if the Vikings aren't an option. NFC, which is easier right off the bat since 2/3 of the conference stinks. Plus, NFC East, which has a weak leader in Dallas, a goofball who talks about fertilizing and watering the flowers in Philly, and the WTF team in the division. Plus, 2 top 10 draft picks this year to build the team. IMO, that is a sneaky good job. If they somehow were able to trade for Wilson with those 2 1sts? LOOK OUT! The only real threat is Dallas in that division, and Dak might be the most inconsistent star QB in a while. He could throw for 500 yards and 7 TD one week, then 168 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT and a fumble the next.

There's a lot of buzz on PFT that the Texans really want to hire Josh Mccown as HC and want another team to interview him in order to make the hire seem "legitimate" THAT is hilarious and would make the Texans interesting for sure, although not for the reasons they think.

This roster, front office and coaching staff is truly loaded. Hopefully we can backfill with more up and coming talent! I think having such a successful team is going to help. Any top OC candidate or DC candidate would want to come here so that next season they are top of the HC list. Just being associated with success makes you a hot head coaching candidate. If I were Peyton Manning's OC I would have been a hot name for HC. I can fetch coffee for the QB room with the best of em! I would probably be Siriani level hilariously out of place, but hey it's 3-5years of guaranteed money either way! LOL

AB did come out to basically say that his mental health is fine, he's just a jerk. I'm not sure if he included the last part exactly. Mr. Potter from It's a Wonderful Life was just suffering from anxiety, so he really wasn't so bad!

When I was watching the Rams game I noticed the flags on the goalposts blowing in the breeze and said "wait, don't they have a dome?" As anti-dome as I am, something like that would be pretty cool, but it's way too expensive for the Bills to absorb. We would get an airplane hangar that looks and feels awful due to the cost, IMO anyway.

Josh Allen is such a cool guy

Well, the loss certainly isn't enjoyable but at this point it's all frosting on the cake for Bill. Obviously he wants to win but there is absolutely zero pressure on him. He's the GOAT of coaches. Some fans and media love to do the "Belichick or Brady?" thing but his game plan for the Bills/Giants SB (played when Brady was like 13 years old) is in the HOF. Brady didn't make him. As time has gone by, I have grown to actually appreciate Belichick and hate Brady even more. I know many have done the opposite. Hearing over and over again about how everything is Brady when it's a team sport annoys the crap out of me. Brady didn't coach up Malcom Butler to be in that spot for the game winning INT vs Seattle. Brady didn't kick the game winning field goals for his first rings. Tell Bruschi, Seymour, Harrison, and Vrabel that it was "all Brady." What Bill has done is far more impressive. 30 years, 2 franchises, how many hundreds of players churned through the roster in NE over their dynasty years? Brady went to Tampa and assembled an all-star team that should have lost had Rodgers not been a total choke artist in the playoffs.

I wonder how much those red heat lamps really warm up that area? Even +15 degrees helps!

It has to be nice for Bill to have 8 Super Bowl rings (2 as DC, 6 as HC) and have a little leeway to just coach and enjoy it at this point. This is all gravy for his career and I think he is having more fun with it.

Belichick loves Josh Allen. You can see it in the post games, but also in those Patriots pre-game chalk talk things they do with Bill before he plays us. Watching all the other games this weekend you can see just how special Allen really is. He makes plays that nobody else in this playoff field can make. But he is also looking more and more like a polished passer as well, which is what really sets him apart. Allen has become a very good passer. As good as nearly every other current playoff QB, IMO. Rodgers is on another level when it comes to the pure throwing of the football. Brady has 67 years of playing experience that helps him know where the 3 yard dink and dunks are. Mahomes makes spectacular throws but IMO relies too much on guys running wide open in that scheme, But other than that, Allen is top 3-4 (IMO) at pure throwing of the ball. However, cover everyone and he can take off and punish you like no other current playoff QB can.

This is the more concerning thing to me. He missed practice a lot with "an illness" and I think even a game. They made sure to say it wasn't Covid related. On a human level I hope the guy is OK, because he is a really good person. As a football fan, I hope he is OK because he is incredibly fun to watch and a unique talent in this game.

I wonder if the Bills are playing a bit of hardball based on their success? It's business. Whatever jokes people seem to want to make at his expense because of the Sabres, Terry has cracked quite a few eggs over the years. He is a cutthroat businessman. I do think he is committed to keeping the team here, but you don't bang that drum then ask for money.

I'll bet Dan Marino thought his Super Bowl window was wide open as a rookie.

KC beat Green Bay with Jordan Love at home by a score of 13-7. Love actually threw for more yards than Mahomes. When we played them all the stat geeks were saying "this is the REAL Josh Allen" (referring to his iffy early games). We were not clicking on all cylinders then either. I think we have a very, very good shot at beating these guys. In fact, I say we SHOULD beat them.

To me, it's the Vikings and the Browns. Vikings They're the vanilla ice cream, the joke you only chuckle at (but ya did chuckle!), the 5.5/10 movie on IMDB, the OK dinner that you paid $30 for... But for some inexplicable reason there's always this expectation that this year sirloin steak magically becomes prime rib, or Green Lantern becomes The Dark Knight. Look, there is a Kirk Cousins in every profession. A guy who is fine, even pretty decent at what he does, but nobody really wants to hire him. Someone always does, because he's fine, and he'll do a fine enough job, but they are never excited about it. He's an almost anonymous "meets expectations" for almost every question, with 1 or 2 "exceeds expectations" on the performance review type guy. OK. Fine. I mean, you're not going to fire him for that. When you're hiring, yes, you could do a lot worse, but he always leaves you asking "do we have anyone else?" It's a hire with a sigh. Zimmer is exactly the same as a coach. He's fine. Standard NFL coach. Certainly not bad at his job, but the Kirk Cousins of coaches. Middle of the road "meets expectations" type for most questions, with a couple "exceeds." If Zimmer and Cousins were a business, their office would be in a plain, nondescript 1970's strip mall, and your grandparents would go there because that's who they always had do their taxes or whatever. It would look like a DMV inside, with its original 1970's decor, complete with dusty plastic plants and soul sucking elevator music. Mind you, they aren't going to make any big mistakes or get you in trouble if you hire them. But man, just walking in that door is depressing. And they also aren't going to come up with anything innovative if you're going there for business advice. Buy property young man, they aren't making any more of it. Browns LOL They are the Vikings if you gave everyone a raise and said "you're Super Bowl contenders now!" As if it could be spoken into existence.

A lot of it depends on how good Allen turns out to be long-term. Is Allen one of those QBs who is really good for a short window or a long-term guy? For example, Cam Newton was league MVP, led his team to a SB berth, and was just dominating the game for a short window. Then DONE, and I mean DONE almost overnight. Cam is only 32 right now but has been done for at least 2 years, maybe 3. So he was really only the Cam Newton many of us loved to watch until he was 28 or 29. I think that a lot of fans forget how truly dynamic Newton was. He put on a show for a few years. I say this with respect, but Cam played with ZFG (Zero F's... Given). He was going to plow you over if he could, and he usually did. Plus, the Carolina offense was Cam up the middle. Cam to the right. Cam throwing the ball. Cam up the middle. Cam on a draw. So he just took a pounding and played the game like a LBer. Eventually his body just broke. Their window slammed shut and has been nailed shut ever since. At first I worried that Allen was going to come in, take the league by storm, and be broken by age 30 like Cam with the way he played his first couple of years. But if you notice, he's gotten a lot smarter about protecting himself. Yes, he'll occasionally go in head first or try the hurdle type plays when it's a gotta have it type moment, but 99% of the time he's looking for the sideline or sliding as soon as a defender closes when he scrambles. He has gotten the message to protect the body and not accumulate hits and injuries when they can be avoided. Big Ben played to age 40. That's with appearing to have given up on any sort of regular exercise regimen 3 years ago. There's no reason that Allen couldn't play til he's 40, barring any major injuries. That's 15 years from now, so IMO that's the Bills window. McDermott is young. Beane is young. Allen is young. Diggs just turned 28 a couple months ago, so he should be able to play at an elite level for 4-5 more seasons at least. Our LT and RT are young. We have a bunch of young DL. White is 27. Poyer and Hyde are 30/31. Milano is 27. Edmunds finally turned 21. This team is young and should be able to roll pretty much as currently constructed at key spots for 4-5 more seasons.

Losing a playoff game shouldn't get a coach fired, IMO. Rams are a Pro Bowl roster that has been hit or miss all year. When they show up and everything is clicking and good Stafford shows up good luck against them.

Bills went 2 consecutive games against NE without a single punt.

Spencer Brown is one of my favorite Bills already! Dude plays with a mean streak, and he is an absolute giant out there, which I love in a lineman! Imagine once he gets a full offseason training program! Doyle is also a nice bonus. Looks like Beane nailed those 2 picks! As far as bringing up Beane's misses, every GM has them. BUT I loved this last draft especially. Tons of linemen, who you can never have too many of. Just look at Tampa. Pro Bowl RT goes down and Brady starts taking insane hits on the right side. IT was the Eagles, so it didn't matter, but Von Miller and Aaron Donald vs a banged up center and back up RT? There are simply not that many good OL in the game. Having some depth is enormous.

Cardinals won that quarter 8-7

They'll be watching next week you can guarantee that!
