One SNF I heard Collinsworth say "we saw that in practice" after a trick play for the 50th time over the years and it hit me All it would take is a media or production guy spilling secrets. Obviously the big name guys wouldn't risk it but there's a lot of people around and NE got caught filming practices so who knows what else they were up to What are the chances that everything they did to cheat was caught? Couple cheating with many terrible opposing coaches or "golly, it's an honor to lose to you guys!" Types and you have a dynasty. This is why I say Peyton is the GOAT. Going 3-1 in the AFC Championship game vs Brady and NE is incredible.

Broncos are no joke They just went to overtime against a desperate Bengals team with Burrow playing some of the best football in the league. They should have beaten KC already. There are few easy outs because the AFC was so bad for so long that most of the great young QBs ended up in this conference This ain't the Patriots dynasty AFC where Peyton Manning and the Ravens defense were your only hurdles and often played each other because NE was almost always #1 seed since the AFC East was so laughably inept

one playoff run NE had the #1 seed and this is who they had to beat to get to the Super Bowl: Titans with Mariotta at QB and Mike Mularkey as HC Jaguars with Blake Bortles at QB and Doug Marrone as HC It's hard to imagine an easier path in recent memory.

I often wonder what if Manning even had someone like Harbaugh or Tomlin as his HC Forget Belichick. Imo he has 6 rings with NE and maybe more because he's the reason NE didn't win more. Dungy was ok, and the best he had. The rest were all mediocrities and proved it without any doubt before or after he was their QB. Imo Peyton is the GOAT

I just looked back on the 2017 playoff run to the SB for NE. #1 seed. Divisional round: Brady/Belichick vs Mariotta /Mularkey AFC Championship: Brady/Belichick vs Bortles/Marrone It doesn't even sound possible! Then in the SB they lose to Nick Foles and Doug Pederson

People bring up Manning like he's the guy who "can't win the big game" Manning was 3-2 against Brady in the playoffs with all 3 of those wins coming in the AFC Championship game. Brady had the greatest coach in history his entire time in NE scheming up ways to defeat Manning and went into every game vs Manning with a significant coaching advantage. Yet Manning had a winning record vs Brady in the playoffs. Manning was so good he went 14-2 with Jim Caldwell as HC. So all of that is worth mentioning. Coaching matters in this league. Some guys benefit from it and others must overcome the disadvantage. Lamar has an incredible coach who built an entire system around him.

Dell has had one hell of a difficult year or so. Last season he broke his leg and missed the end of the year and playoffs. Then he got shot in the leg this past off-season. Then this gruesome knee injury. It's a lot for one guy and his 2025 season is likely going to be affected too. I can't understand people criticizing Stroud over this. His friend and teammate just had yet another season end due to a leg injury and any hope of a super bowl run just evaporated.

It'll be Bengals, Ravens, Chiefs IMO Redemption tour! If you want to be the man, you have to beat the man! I wish the AFC was like this during the Patriots dynasty. They would secure the #1 seed and get the Texans and Jaguars as the path.

At this point we're not getting the #1 seed so rest everyone and get to the playoffs at full strength.

Aside from Allen's heroics, few things in football please me more than watching enormous and talented linemen mauling their opponents Size, athleticism, and pure raw power cannot be coached.
