Von Miller ACL- Out for Season
TheFunPolice replied to thenorthremembers's topic in The Stadium Wall
As much as I hate agreeing with Brady, he was right about that super Bowl. The Philly defense made ONE PLAY all game. It was the offense that won the game for the Eagles by scoring lots of points. -
We have enough major players with ACL issues.

Von Miller ACL- Out for Season
TheFunPolice replied to thenorthremembers's topic in The Stadium Wall
Good lord... Can we ever catch a freaking break? -
If they say 7 weeks there's an outside chance it could be 6 too. Probably tough to say exactly at this point. But I agree... him facing off against those pass rushes could be bad news. But we also don't know how Purdy will fare. Guy is standing in and delivering, but that's what gets guys hurt too. He might not make it to the playoffs himself. He took some serious shots vs the Dolphins.

That's a HUGE psychological boost for SF. They will have their starting QB back for the playoff run. No matter what they say, these guys are human. Going from SB favorite to "we believe in our rookie 7th rounder" had to suck mentally. Totally different now. Now it's just a typical injury. Jimmy G is out, but he will be back, so next man up and find a way, and get him back for the big games. Come to think of it, this type of thing has happened a few times this season, where a player is "done for the year" then a few days later it's a handful of weeks, or even fewer.

Buffalo Snow / Weather Situation ?????
TheFunPolice replied to CANBUFF72's topic in The Stadium Wall
that's been a pattern, although it was worse that year... PITA for farmers, especially fruit orchards around here, when everything wakes up in March only to face winter in April -
Buffalo Snow / Weather Situation ?????
TheFunPolice replied to CANBUFF72's topic in The Stadium Wall
It does tend to hang on longer lately but it's broken up in April at least. If anything it's backwards: March is always warm for a week or so (like 60's and 70's) then April is winter again. the clouds are brutal. The perpetual gloom in winter is like living on an ocean island at times -
Miami media takes an early shot at Buffalo
TheFunPolice replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's funny... Tua has to be the most unloved QB in the league. Guys throws for 2 TD and almost 300 yards against a monster SF defense and he stinks again when last week it was "MVP! MVP!" It's like with Tua everyone is just waiting to say "see, he stinks!" the second he has a not great game. Meanwhile, a certain ancient scrawny QB stinks the entire game, then takes a bunch of check downs against prevent defense, gets a predictable DPI and suddenly "it's INCREDIBLE! MAGIC!" because they beat the 4-9 Saints at home. Dolphins fans will turn on Tua in an instant. I'm not saying he's great, but it's kind of crazy at this point. -
Buffalo Snow / Weather Situation ?????

it's 50 degrees today in Buffalo. December 7. A little high, but pretty typical for December for years now. "Buffalo winter" begins in January and goes through early March. I mean, it's cloudy, foggy, and rainy for months though, which is far from "nice." The occasional big snowstorms make headlines and capture peoples' 3 second attention spans, but winter in WNY is not all that bad snow/cold wise. -
Lamar Jackson leaves denver game with knee injury
TheFunPolice replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Ravens built an entire program around Lamar. That's what any other team would need to do (but likely won't). IMO Harbaugh is a top 5 coach in the NFL, and that organization drafts well and tailored a team to help him succeed. Let's say he forces a trade somewhere else. SF would be deadly, because they are a similar "run the ball, play D, make some throws" style already. Other than that, where could you plug him in and have success without re-making the entire roster on offense? -

I'll take blizzards over hurricanes any day, and it's overblown here anyway. A week after this past epic snowstorm you could drive around the stadium area and it looked like it never happened. Blizzard warning? Put on some fluffy cozy clothes, turn down the lights, pour the beverage of your choice, crank the fireplace and watch a movie or listen to some tunes. Comfortable and relaxing. Hurricane warning? Everything you have is about to disappear into the ocean and your entire neighborhood will spend the next several years rebuilding it all before it happens again. To each their own. I could never live down south. Fine to visit, but no thanks long-term. As far as the Dolphins go, they are a 1 trick pony on offense with a mediocre defense. That one trick is a heck of a trick, but it's not sustainable. -

epic! all-time underrated movie! You explain it to someone and it just doesn't do it justice. a bowling movie? but yes, a BOWLING MOVIE! -
Best realistic scenario is Bucs being the #4 seed (although that's in question now with SF) and facing Dallas. More likely due to 49ers injuries is Bucs are #3 seed and get a team like the Commanders or Giants, so almost an automatic bye
-
It would have been nice for Tampa to miss the playoffs entirely, but it was never likely in that division. They better treat the game vs Tampa if they play them like they need 7 on every drive.
-
As mad as I am at myself for getting roped in, at the end of the day the Saints are 4-9 for a reason. They stink. NFC is a joke. And one of the only good teams just lost their QB and has to start a 7th round rookie
-
Yup I've been saying it all along. "Magic" time fellas. You trust playoff Dak? Vs Brady? LoL
-
I'm not saying it's rigged I'm saying it's totally predictable. Some teams should just pretend they're down 10+ with 2 minutes to go the entire game. Maybe they could move the ball during the first 57 minutes
-
As bad as the Ingram play was there was still a lot of time left. Same outcome either way. It's like there's a script.
-
Oh I hate everything about him. I just don't get why people think rules or laws apply to him. They would make great horror movie extras. The villain fell down the hill, we're safe!
-
49ers have no QB so it's down to playoff Dak (assuming he makes it without getting hurt again) or Hurts. Unbelievable
-
I told you... Until the credits are finished rolling and the lights come on the little POS isn't done.
-
They'll be even more thrilled watching the Bucs in the super bowl this year. The worst part will be the unrestrained, over the top gushing about Brady
-
Everything always goes Brady's way. The NFL is a story about Tom Brady.
-
Really? Yes they should and do.
