  1. Straight up drop on 4th down I was really hoping for a 0-0 final, just because. Sirianni going to get his defense sick
  2. In second half I would take the penalty rather than the timeout
  3. It would be beautiful! And I suppose keeps the analogy going
  4. Patriots are this years Commanders They'll lose big in the AFC championship game
  5. Even more reason to give the Dolphins the 26 pick
  6. Great defensive battle! Sirianni sounds under the weather
  7. I think Packers will take it but it's close
  8. Looking forward to this game, should be a fun one!
  9. We are going to absolutely obliterate the Bucs Sports narratives always get busted. Bills down and out, fire Beane, fire McDermott, Allen looks sad, need a WR... Bucs a buzzsaw on offense, Baker potential MVP SO Look for Coleman to have over 100 yards, Baker to throw 2 INT and be sacked 5 times, Allen to complete passes to 7 different players, and Bills win 34-17
  10. If Bengals get that W then it's on for them in terms of the Division race They would almost control their own destiny
  11. It seemed odd when I heard Jeremy say that. To me that sounds like something the HC's camp would leak out there. Just like the rumor about Waddle sounded like something the GM's camp would leak. Could be nothing but also could indicate some internal strife there.
  12. I get all that, but some team will do it I think.
  13. Bengals are 2 games out of the Division lead Same as us Difference is the Steelers are a joke and the Ravens still play Green Bay and New England, plus Pittsburgh twice. Also, Bengals get the Ravens twice. It's not a sure bet or anything but with Burrow back soon the Bengals have a real shot at that division.
  14. According to WGR this morning McDermott is not happy with Beane. Supposedly he wanted WR help both in the draft and at the deadline. If you listen back to McDermott's postgames after these recent losses with that lens it sounds like a guy who is not happy with the state of the offense, especially the passing game. I could see Beane being gone after this season, especially if the lack of WR talent bites us. That would also buy McDermott some more time and be easier for the owner to stomach than a wholesale change. Bills would have their pick of any available GM candidate.
  15. everybody "wants to win" That's not what separates the winners from the also rans though
  16. he'll be Belichick's OC somewhere, unless Belichick goes to the Giants
  17. LOL I truly thought we would come back and win that one. In my defense, minus the Cook Redzone fumble and the Allen redzone INT we very well could have.
  18. every terrible OC we ever had wanted an aggressive, attacking offense that could beat you multiple ways....
  19. AFC top teams all play each other a bunch still so a lot can happen. If next week KC beats Denver then they get a good outcome either way in the Chargers/Jaguars game If Jags win KC and LA are tied and still play later in the season. If Chargers win KC would be ahead of Jaguars for wild card race. Lots of separation will happen over the next few weeks. I expect only 1 AFC North team to make it in (Ravens) 2 AFC West wildcards and 1 AFC East
  20. They say teams take on the personality of the coach. That is exactly what has happened here. Low event football. Coach the spirit out of your players Just don't make mistakes. No mistakes. It takes a toll.
  21. Pegula is happy as can be with McDermott and Beane.
  22. You knew when the Ravens had 1 win and were several games back but were still the favorite that nobody takes Pittsburgh seriously
  23. On the plus side, those of us who take the expressways to work can look forward to a 2 hour commute tomorrow morning!
  24. The roster has been going backwards for a few years now. We're consistently bringing back players that were let go, both on offense (remember the returns of Beasley and Brown?) and of course defense (Hyde as a player/coach or whatever that was, Poyer, White) Reason? Beane has failed to find suitable replacements. Most of his FA signings lately have been awful. Hoecht seemed like a hit but we'll probably never know what might have been. Golly, you could do a lot worse than a coach with 100 wins! Sal and the PR dept will be working overtime this week. Someone will need to take the fall. Given McDermott saying the passing game needs to be better it could be Brady In that case, consider this: the last 2 OCs Josh Allen had would have been fired. If that's not an indictment of roster building or HC philosophy I don't know what is
  25. McDermott and Beane have won a lot of regular season games. That's obviously good, but with a top 2 QB in the league for 8+ seasons not even getting to a Super Bowl is an enormous fail. But sometimes you run into buzzsaws. The real blunder is purposely working to make your offense less about that QB and designing a system to focus on other players. It makes no sense. It's exactly what an opponent would want. Imagine playing Peyton Manning in his prime and the Colts decide to become a run first offense and rely on 3TE sets and horizontal passing
