  1. Either the Cook pick was a mistake Or Singletary is THAT good (I love the guy btw) Or coaches are not using talent as well as they could
  2. Bills need to focus on taking free yards, making smart decisions, and avoiding giving the other team freebies. Daboll could simply point to the scoreboard. You're arguing with a guy who needs 2 hands to fit all his championship rings. Maybe these games give these coaches some evidence for why it's time to get smarter, since this approach isn't working. Problem is that Dorsey seems like the double or nothing, chips to the center of the table type. That plays well with a room full of alpha types but there is a reason NE usually won and Brady does and will now . Put simply, they'll wait for you to beat yourself. Eventually you'll fumble, throw the pick, commit a foul, or make a dumb call. And then they crush you for it. Smart > dumb
  3. Allen keeps saying it's all on him and therefore he is more prone to force things to try to fix it. Coaches need to be there for their players to be a steady hand
  4. People downplay the importance of being there before. Daboll has seen it all. 5 Super Bowl rings and 1 college national championship ring. Worked under the greatest NFL coach and greatest college coach. In short, he's been there before and imo provided some much needed calm to a guy who runs a bit hot
  5. Dorsey is like having Allen's emotional clone at OC. There isn't a crazy play or a gamble they don't love. When it works, great, but when it doesn't it looks like this
  6. I know he'll retire top 3 all time in head coach wins behind Belichick and Schula
  7. I think Dorsey and Allen are wired very similarly and would each run through a wall to pick up a 1st down up 20-0 in week one because they are ultra competitive. Daboll has a handful of super bowl and national championship rings and knows the long game. He was a calming influence on Allen
  8. Brady's season was over last week when the Rams stopped them on 4th and goal with under a minute left and the score 13-9. They lose and go to 3-6 and it's a mountain to climb. They were done But then they were given one more chance. When you are coming to terms with being done but then you are suddenly given one more shot, funny things happen. The emotional swing is incredible for both sides Brady himself has talked about that concept many times . Falcons and Matt Ryan never recovered. The mental part of this game is huge, and that's the coaches job to help their players, not accentuate or encourage their bad tendencies
  9. Daboll was huge in keeping Allen level headed. He's doing the same in NJ with Jones now. Dorsey seems every bit the smash your head into that wall until the wall breaks type, which is not a great fit with Allen, who needs a calming effect
  10. I haven't wanted to say it but Sean Payton will be out there... McDermott still deserves support but he also shouldn't feel untouchable. He's won nothing yet. For a guy who prides himself on attention to detail this team plays dumb. This is the NFL. Making the playoffs with a top 2-3 QB and getting nowhere is not a plus. The rest of this season is out up or shut up time.
  11. Jamming all 22 guts in one spot and trying to run into that is not a good idea. At least spread the D out a bit
  12. Allen is way too emotional. Coaches need to calm him down so he when he makes amazing plays he doesn't throw it away on the next play
  13. This roster is loaded with talent which is why they blow a lot of teams out and often get away with making bad mistakes. Coaching is why they struggle in close games. Attention to detail. Knowing the situation.
  14. Absolutely. A tie would have been a huge emotional win given how this game went. It's half a win. And not a loss. All those awesome plays went down the drain there
  15. We're breaking even with Allen lately. Freakish plays only he can make, but also totally sloppy throws to negate it all. It's coachings job to limit the backbreaking mistakes so that the awesome plays matter
  16. Some don't like it but you've got the tie in the bank there. If it's not open don't force it. Worst case scenario should have been a tie
  17. Josh is way too emotional.... Emotion is good but he is playing out of control
  18. Sloppy and reckless play by Allen. He just keeps throwing interceptions
  19. Every 3rd and long we just let the guy stand there forever and find an open man
  20. At least we have a Tom Brady super bowl win to look forward to!
  21. All the talk needs to be making it to the playoffs as a wildcard now.
