  1. if we can pay DL tons of money to play pattycake with the OL then we can pay Poyer to actually make plays
  2. Hey, I really like the Bengals. Never thought much of their coach until the Hamlin situation, which made me respect him a lot more. Burrow is great. I love the attitude, the arrogance, the moxie. It's fun to watch. He reminds me of the hotshot young pilot in the new Top Gun movie, for those who have seen it. I can see him saying "oh I'm good. I'm real good" (quote from the film). Maybe he has. I guess he sort of has, in so many words with the whole "our window is my entire career" comment. He's a unique personality for sure. Super confident to the point of arrogant, but somehow also likeable. That's rare. But it makes him different also from the other star QBs, and to me as a fan who watches for entertainment that's fun. Burrow is the heel who the fans love. All that said, this week he's going home, and I hope he cheers for us next week!
  3. something weird was going on in Miami, no doubt. I wonder if Arizona gets added to the lawsuit if he doesn't get the job?
  4. could be the Jets too... it will be interesting to see
  5. We're paying a lot of $$ to guys on defense who are invisible. Then there's Poyer, who is great at his role. Pay the man!
  6. Compared to Chiefs Planet, which is a complete cesspool, both the Bills and Bengals boards sound like an upper level philosophy class debate
  7. 49ers will probably trade Lance to TEN
  8. I'm actually excited to see what he'll be like on Fox in the booth. He's literally never said anything interesting that I can remember. He seems like a total phony when he tries to be human. I think he literally cares and thinks only about playing QB in the NFL, and everything else is an act.
  9. Welcome Bengals fans! Here's a math exercise: I like the Bengals and Burrow. However, I LOVE the Bills and Allen. Love > Like Therefore, GO BILLS!
  10. Flores takes no BS from anyone. Exactly what Kyler needs if he is going to be successful. Then again, to Kyler, he already got paid so maybe that IS success to him. But coach Flores is not going to stand for nonsense, and that teams needs some discipline IMO.
  11. Flores is exactly what Kyler needs. Time to get to work!
  12. Brady is going to retire. Media just keep saying he will play because they can't imagine him actually retiring. As far as "he doesn't want to go out like that" goes... Unless he wins the Super Bowl he's going out with a loss. Tampa is old, slow and over the cap with a terrible HC. At age 46 is he really going to start over somewhere else? Most likely: he will retire 2nd most likely: he goes to LV 3rd most likely: he goes to TEN
  13. after listening to Rodgers on Pat McAfee yesterday he's not retiring and also sounded ready to go somewhere else. Jets would be a great place to trade him to. Out of the conference, don't play against GB this year. Jets + Rodgers would be lethal, IMO
  14. After listening I think he meant Hyde might play next week (AFC Title Game, if we make it)
  15. I don't love that there seems to be some sort of holdup. For all the talk of a deal being done it isn't 100% done and that deadline keeps moving. Probably it's nothing to be concerned about, but it's also not "we're ready to start digging." Also, I think it's fair at this point to wonder what really is going on with Kim Pegula, because she runs both professional sports teams in Buffalo. Obviously she deserves some degree of privacy, but she also was the person running both teams and she has been 100% absent for 6 months now. I think most people assumed that she (being young and seemingly healthy) would run the team for the next 30+ years with Terry more of a behind the scenes type, who (as much as we love him for saving both of our teams) the less he speaks publicly the better. To be totally honest, if the Bills ever moved we would probably also leave NY, which we've considered for a while now anyway. It would totally gut the psyche of this entire region.
  16. Kind of surprised he went there... Maybe he sees a chance for an interim HC spot in the middle of next season
  17. too skinny for a DT... Phillips needs to heal up that shoulder ASAP!
  18. this morning on WGR they pointed out that Brady threw ONE TD the entire postseason when HE won HIS first SB. In that Rams SB he threw for like 140 yards and 1 TD. BUT IT WAS ALL BRADY!
  19. When it comes to Super Bowls it's ALL BRADY! When it comes to losses it's a team game. Can't wait to hear him in the booth.
  20. He threw a ton of terrible balls last night. When you throw 65 times you're going to get some yards, especially once Dallas went to prevent. When Dallas played normal defense Brady did almost nothing, aside from their 1 good drive that ended with a pick.
  21. I feel zero hatred for Mahomes or KC It's definitely a unique Brady thing for me. If it was Favre, Manning, Rodgers, or whoever that won 7 Super Bowls and never seemed to stop I would find it fun to watch. NE got so many lucky breaks, cheated, benefitted from obscure rules, etc. that it was horrible watching them win. Then I learn that it was all Brady. The coaching, the teammates, didn't matter. All Brady.
  22. He's going to retire.
  23. Brady is going to retire. No way he's going back to Tampa. He did the same wear no team colors/logos thing after last night's game the same way he did with his final postgame in NE. That's his way of saying he's a free agent (which he is) but it's a mental thing. He's already decided that he's out of there, same as NE. never been happier to be wrong!
  24. I'll feel 100% different about him, because then there will be no more Brady playoff games, or even worse, Super Bowls to endure. Once he retires he's just another former player on TV and I'm interested to see how it goes. Give him all the accolades you want while he focuses on talking about Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, Hurts, and all the rest. BTW I still think he retires. He's done. Last night's game was a microcosm of their entire season: Tampa offense does very little until it becomes panic time and the other team goes into prevent. Then Brady stacks up yards and stats and the stat line ends up looking decent. His yards per attempt were like 30th in the NFL this season. It's all dink and dunk until the other defense goes prevent, then he hits Evans for a long TD. He (because it's all Brady) went 8-9 in the worst division (by far) in football. If he stays there they play the 1st place schedule and that team won't get any less old and slow. Is he really going to go somewhere else for 1 year at age 46 and start all over (but not really because it's a 1 year proposition)? Last night he was thanking the media and stopped himself from saying something. He said "hopefully..." IMO it was something about hopefully they will welcome him into their world.
