  1. There's no downside to doing it and every once in a while it works
  2. It's funny to hear the words of that Harvey Danger song advertising fast food .. I'm not sick but I'm not well.... Lol
  3. Refs will be watching for offensive holding extra close now
  4. When everyone starts pushing like that Denver highlight why not just fall to the ground in front of him on D ? RB wouldn't be able to advance without tripping
  5. I would laugh my ass off if Mahomes called out "bundlearooskie doo!" as an audible
  6. Eagles fans chanting "Thank you Giants!" last night for letting Barkley get there probably didn't help the NJ regime any...
  7. I wonder if it's the way guys break their falls with their hands on the ground and the wrist takes all the impact
  8. Bundlerooskiedoo! He's so streaky and inconsistent. His reckless play is crazy when it works but the law of averages catches up eventually. Plus he doesn't wake up til after halftime it seems like every time I see him play. Seems like a likeable guy but definitely not elite
  9. If Love could stay healthy and pretend it's the 4th quarter all game the Packers could be dangerous. Love reminds me of Fitz with WR who catch literally everything. The dude wildly chucks prayers into triple coverage and the WR will catch it if it's physically possible. Packers WR never drop a ball. Don't sleep on them.
  10. Why not at least chuck it up?
  11. The Chiefs are winning games with smoke and mirrors lately. BTW I have no real animosity for KC. I like Mahomes and Reid, who I say is the true GOAT HC. If the Bills don't go all the way I don't mind seeing KC do it. That said, the Chiefs have a ton of injuries on offense and have not been the same lately .They are going to lose convincingly one week and I think that's coming this Sunday. Overall though I think this is finally Lamar's year unless we spoil it for them.
  12. a lot of wrist injuries on the team this year.. It's not something I remember seeing a lot of league-wide. Obviously it's just random but notable.
  13. We're going to win by double digits. This year's version of the Chiefs is not the same. Yes, they're undefeated but they remind me of the Steelers team from a few years back that made it deep into the season undefeated even though nobody took them seriously. Now, these are the Chiefs, so they have the history and Mahomes and Reid. But they are missing so many offensive weapons this year and Mahomes stats are mediocre at best. Bills by 10+ this weekend. It might not be popular to say, but this year the AFC is Baltimore's to lose with us to maybe spoil it for them. Chiefs are a team we'll beat twice: this weekend and once in the playoffs too, but it won't have the same meaning because Baltimore will be waiting in the AFC title game and a much, much harder team to beat in 2024.
  14. Lamar is the clear MVP in my book so far, with Allen just behind him. Nobody else is even close. That includes Jordan "take 3 quarters off then just start chucking prayer moonballs into triple coverage that somehow your WR always catch and end up with 350+ yards" Love
  15. One of the best uniforms in the NFL! Please do not let Nike get ahold of these... We'll be back to the pajama look of the early 2000's with weird stripes and cut ins everywhere
  16. Eberflus is and was a terrible choice for HC, especially to develop a young QB Chicago's defense isn't even all that great. I've questioned McDermott being a defensive HC but at least his defenses are consistently pretty good and there seems to be a program/system where new guys come in and there isn't a huge drop off. That's coaching. Chicago's D has been total meh. So what's the point of having Eberflus as your HC? If they finally find a great OC he'll just be gone for a HC job and they'll be starting over.
  17. They've been trying to lose lately, and once it happens they'll drop a few games.
  18. firing Saleh early in the season was the dumbest move possible You lose the guy truly running the defense, and now the figurehead DC has to ACTUALLY be the DC and also a first time HC in the middle of a season with all sorts of turmoil created by the decision. As a result the Jets D now stinks. I'm not a huge Saleh fan or anything, but the guy had that defense ready to play and had them in (distant) playoff contention last year without playing offense all season once Rodgers went down. The D carried the team and had an outside shot until very late in the season of getting them the 7 seed. That's without fielding an NFL offense all year. This interim HC is way over his head and it shows.
