  1. I hear you. I was not particularly fond of it when they switched but ut kind of grew on me. I also dig their vanilla helmets...a real throwback which I appreciate.
  2. Falls right at my daughters HS graduation (I’m almost officially an empty nester!) so my Dad and brother are in town…first time we’ve been together on Fathers Day in 30 years or so. Love it. Happy Father’s Day to all!
  3. WFT is better than WTF! 😃 I like it but there is logic built into that name. Does Snyder possess any logic??
  4. https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2021/06/19/washington-football-team-trademark-refused/ Interesting to me. They go from fighting tooth and nail to keep the former name (of which they allowed the TM to lapse) and now they are having difficulties in trade marking the new generic name. To be honest, I kind of like WFT. Edit: oh, by the way, this has nothing to do with Covid or Beasley so this thread has that going for it. 😃
  5. When I saw this thread on my work computer, I made a guess of five pages before it was shut down. Can’t believe it beat that.
  6. I don’t really agree with this. Everything in a mall can be found online. NFL football is a completely different experience in person. Just my opinion.
  7. I would partially disagree on Ed: so long as he’s disruptive, I would be happy. There are times where pressure leads to a better outcome than a sack. Ford is a question mark for me. We’ll see. Singltary will be interesting given his body composition change. I’m excited to see what he can bring. I’m also not sold Breida will be a part of game day a’la Yeldon. I believe DS and Moss will be the game day actives for the backfield. I have high hopes for Knox. While it takes some skill players historically four years to get up to speed, I think he’s put in the work and am hopeful it pays off. We shall see.
  8. We’re you a pointy nosed guy? RIO or pilot?
  9. Love that he did that and the respect he clearly shared with the BA team. I tried desperately to get a shoot and recovery off of my carrier…alas, never got it. Glad McD got the chance to have this experience: he’ll never forget it.
  10. There are so many variables in these player decisions that we are not privy to. Perhaps they didn’t mesh well with others. Perhaps they needed additional picks for a future trade we had no idea was going to take place. I totally get the topic but all we can do is guess in reality. We don’t have the entire picture and we never will, more than likely. With that being said, I don’t buy the Daboll can’t assess talent argument. It doesn’t stand to reason, in my opinion, given the success he’s had here.
  11. Not disputing that but wondering if this may the weight they want him to play at. With all of the talk about getting to the QB, there are multiple ways of doing so and I was wondering if, perhaps, they are adjusting to ‘burst’ as opposed to ‘girth’.
  12. He has been good to very good at times…others, not so much. At this point, however, I would like to see Beane grab someone else unless, as I previously mentioned, they are wanting this position to be ‘quick’.
  13. I was shocked when I saw the video. I’m not sure how a guy that size takes on a C and G without getting blown off the line (which I witnessed on occasion happening previously when he was heavier). Perhaps they told him to slim down to increase speed and burst…that’s all I can think of.
  14. He is always decent with the media; he never gives them, “I’m not answering that”. Instead, he finds a cordial way of saying that and in this day and age I find the common decency a welcome change.
  15. I’m not sure about Klein. I think we saw his peak last year when he was AFC DPOW. Hollister will be interesting.
  16. I absolutely agree with Moulds…such a shame for him he landed here. I would have also been interested to see what Fred would have done on a really good team.
  17. All of the above (save Wade). There are a number of younger players who have a supreme opportunity to displace the older players this year. I particularly like the AJE and Knox references. The former was absolutely too light last year and Knox is entering the window where the game has slowed down for him and should provide for more plays being made.
  18. I read this early this morning and kind of thought to myself, “This guy carries baggage for a LONG time.” Kind of kookie to me. My hope is Mitch let’s go of whatever has been on his shoulders this year and doesn’t have to play a single down save mop-up duty. After that, I hope he moves to an NFC team and wipes the Bears out…and then loses to the Bills in the SB. Shrinks make good money for a reason. This author needs to go posthaste.
  19. I watched it this past weekend…while I will never wish away a summer, it does get the blood pumping! What a fun season!
  20. Clearly knowing him and hanging out with him for a considerable amount of time. 😃
  21. Yes!!!! The 70’s porn music in the beginning is a particularly nice touch! 😃
  22. If you’ve never been to camp at SJF, it was absolutely fantastic: ability to see the players work up close and personal, see the interactions, watching the improvement over the course of TC. Living in ROC, this is a real bummer to me but I understand it.
