Taskers son plays for Hamilton so that’s who I’m rooting for.

Good article on Josh (The Ringer)
TroutDog replied to Da webster guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fantastic article, thank you for sharing. What I read is that Josh has the proper determination and physical attributes to be the long term answer. In addition, the organization has a clear understanding of what they want and how to find it...and it may differ from the other teams. I love the trajectory. -
I love Najee. We’re a Bama family and he is a MONSTER. Like others here, however, I’d prefer to limit RB picks. Almost had a come-apart last year when we picked Singletary in the third round. That’s why I was watching on TV ?

Here’s an option: let Josh develop in the trajectory you expected him to. I’d prefer no Bellicheat theatrics in this organization. Can it help with a single win against an inferior opponent? Sure! But that’s not the point with Josh. Everyone has to be thinking about the long game (a golf reference for the uninitiated)...next year and beyond.

Adam Archuleta Makes Classic Gaffe During Bills/Fish Game

Well he did say he always hit with his head so it’s probably all a little fuzzy. -
Bills should move CHRIS BROWN to Scouting Department

Didn’t bother reading all of this but: OH. MY. LORD. Set the pipe down! ? -
Jerry Hughes reaction to Myles Garrett incident
TroutDog replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don’t think he’s having a down year. D line stats are a result of the entire line and he is saddled there. He’s doing what has worked for him which as lead to multiple double digit sack years. -
It’s funny. What did Kyle say from NFL Films? Any time you’re trying to predict week to week in the NFL is a ‘fools errand’. You hit certain teams when they’re hot and certain teams when they’re cold (ie: see MN last year). The Bills are a 6-3 team with a stout D. Ten is possible, maybe more. It all depends on how they handle their own business week to week and the same goes for the opposition. Plus 46 other factors. I’ll let everyone guess who those are. ?

QB who can pass to victory - a myth?
TroutDog replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The take away from this exercise, to me, is some people are truly half glass empty people and cannot see a positive if it stared them in the face. They loathe simply to loathe. Why even root for this team? If you believe yourself to be that much better, why aren’t you in the NFL ranks? Discussion is always welcome so long as it’s rational. If not, then what’s the point? This team is 6-3. That’s a positive. Last year it was if Josh fixes his short game all will be well. He’s done that. Then it was if he stops turning the ball over. He’s done that. Still, calling for his head. It’s all just silly. When steering a large ship, everything is INCREMENTAL. Time to recognize this fact. Mahomes threw for what the other night? 400+? Still lost. That’s reality. -
QB who can pass to victory - a myth?

The fact that you had to ask gives pause: we have given up many 100+ rushers but not points. 320 passing is a different story. -
100% problem with the Deep Ball this year.
TroutDog replied to Allen2Moulds's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The thread title, in and of itself, let’s the people around here saying that he ‘had the long ball last year’ crowd know that they’re incorrect. While the long ball is exciting and something to ‘make me wanna shout,’I would much rather have long sustained drives. The occasional deep ball throw will keep opposing D’s true. Josh is a developing QB, simple as that. Small school pedigree with HUGE upside. It was a gamble and one that I, for one, think will pay off long term. Short term? He’s 6-3 this year so the arrow is pointing up. Give that to the D if you want but in 6 games out of 9, he’s done enough in his 20th start. -
Antonio Brown - A hypothetical question
TroutDog replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I voted no. With the upcoming draft rich in receivers, I’d rather go that route. While it’s enticing, he’s just too much of a loon. -

Daboll called a number of plays that were discussed here this past week on that drive. Seems much more open and non-gimmicky today. -

"Lo Down" with Lorenzo Alexander this week

Or is it he wants to keep everything in house? There are other great coaches who follow the same plan. -
Not sure, to be honest.

Bills Mafia invading Cleveland? Update: probable
TroutDog replied to benderbender's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Zo mentioned this exact thing in the ‘Lo Down’: he couldn’t wait to see how Bills Mafia travelled to Cleveland. ? -
I watch it in an app on my AppleTV (and checked on my devices) and don’t see a way to link. Apologies. No, for your question. It was during his third year that he said he ‘let himself go’. Per the line of questioning, that’s what drove the pay cut request and then he finally said, **** it. I felt the same until I saw this piece. He appears to have a support team in place and also seems to, finally, recognize where he’s failed. Time will tell, of course. Me, for one, will root for him. Per many here who say he’s had enough chances, it’s funny as Gumble asked at the end of the piece how strange it was that Richie gets all of these chances but Kaepernick gets none as he was straight laced. Absolutely fair take, in my opinion. As a disabled vet who’s had two neursurgeries from my service, what Kaep did is EXACTLY what I (and countless others) gave so much for: constitutional rights that include peaceful protest. I digress. To me, a homer Bills fan, I just appreciated hearing what took place from the horses mouth. More reason to trust the leadership in place.

It’s ok to feel for both, in my opinion.

It seems everywhere this week has been the fact that these teams are so similar but the Browns just do ‘stupid stuff’ to lose games. I haven’t read all 34 pages so if it’s been discussed, apologies. Im hoping the Brownies pull out a six pack of stupid tomorrow ?
