I’m an ex Navy air traffic controller and the first thing at EVERY duty station was: SHUT UP if there’s an issue. It is so critical that the masses only hear one voice...not of dissension, complaining or b*tching.

I feel for Fitz. Love the guy. Surely he recognized, however, that saying that is an issue. It seems like a departure from what he said when he re-signed there...not in a beneficial way.

Simple to say, harder to do. Managing people is a fickle thing most of the time. The time it’s not? When there’s a cancer in the room. When that happens, cut it out. Seems clear that’s what they did here.

Our ends are failing miserably in that area and it’s eating the team alive. EDIT: I’ll add that watching Bills games at times is like watching SEC games and there is half the field while open or a straight line to the end zone. It really is amazing to me. So fundamental but also overlooked for what I can only guess is the ‘big play’.

First off, I would not worry about the cap: teams find a way if they want to. Secondly, I’d welcome him with open arms so long as it’s for very little draft capital. He is a generational talent when he’s healthy but he only has so much left in the tank. To sum it up: won’t happen.

When looking back at the history of McD’s defenses, they have been up and down. Pure speculation, but, by looking at it, it appears there is no adjustment on the fly. I did not dig deep and see which players were lost (if any) and strength of schedule but, at first glance it appears to be telling and par for the course. Add in that each year he has been here we have had a lull in defensive production during each season and it begins to paint a picture. Please don’t take me wrong: I am firmly in the McD corner as I believe, overall, he is a great HC.

I haven’t read all nine pages of the thread (only the first) but I think it’s important to remember that we are not seeing how Tua has practiced. If he’s the best option, why not? He was an amazing QB at the apex of the SEC. I have a soft spot for Fitz, too, but he’ll go on to team nine or ten, the beard will grow and all will be well in his world.

The best I can offer is there is no update due to complications in various parts of the state.

And who are we without? There are always injuries...sometimes they make a big impact, sometimes not. The point is this: it’s a long season. After each loss, everyone should NOT be fired.
