  1. We got to 7 wins last year with that big time run game. What will get us to the 10-12 win mark next year? The defense stopping 200 yard rushers and getting into the 10 overall in yards and points against.

    We also got to 7 wins with the 49ers, Browns. Jags and Rams scheduled gifts.

    Shoutout to the Bengals kicker too, we have a lot of work to do.

  2. More Marc Stein bombs

    @espnSteinline

    Cavs owner Dan Gilbert, just like that, just issued a statement that he and GM David Griffin have mutually agreed NOT to extend his contract

    News drops on the one-year anniversary of the Cavs winning their only NBA title

    @WojVerticalNBA

    Sources: As David Griffin departs as Cavs -- "Just couldn't agree on future," source says - Chauncey Billups expected to emerge as candidate

    Cavs front office had difficulty in trade talks this week, constantly needing to address Griffin's future with rival executives. Tough spot.

    Why don't they fire Lebron ?

    He's responsible for Tristan, Swish, and Love.

  3. Yeah I just didn't know if the one stat was worthy of a whole new thread. I already know what the thread will become and I'm just tired of it. I'm done with the same old debates. It is interesting to me that sacks obviously did not hurt the Bills' offense as much as Tyrod's critics think they did. I've made a mental note and that's about all I feel like doing this time around!

    Thank you sir. The horse might finally be dead until the jets game ends.

  4. Yes. Calling someone a tightwad is bashing him. It's an inflammatory statement.

    If you really can't see that, I think the next logical question would be: have you graduated High School, yet?

    There were plenty of other ways to say what you said. Instead, you chose to go the middle-school route throwing out playground insults.

    Tyrods white knight is here to joust again.

  5. Supposedly Ainge loves Josh Jackson. I wasn't 100 percent sold on Fultz, some of their loses were alarming bad. A player of his caliber should have done better, he has put on some serious muscle this offseason and looks to be serious about being a star...

    Is this another move by Ainge to roll the surplus forward and avoid James and GS? I'd hope so. If he makes a big deal for Butler etc I will be pissed. Isaiah and Horford aren't winning anything, I don't care if Jordan shows up at practice. GS is too much right now.

    Pair Jackson up with Brown and let them grow.

    Agree. If Fultz was all that his team wouldn't have been that horrendous.

    Look at what Curry did for Davidson, Kawai for Fresno etc etc etc.

  6. Watched it last night, is that where you watch the games?

    I watched the jags game in London there as well as a few others. I watch most at home with Sunday Ticket or work and watch on phone.

    Huge fan of the food, as a Virginian that was my first through 10th dirty plate. Mac and cheese, home fries, burger and dirty sauce is the play all winter long.

    Cant go wrong with garlic parm/buffalo wings there either. I did pick up a newsgirl there once too fwiw, that was a fun few weeks.

  7. You definitely can't count the Dolphins or Steelers. Both games featured a 200 yard rusher, and I looked at every game from 2013-2016 that had a 200+ yard rusher. Only found one game where a team was able to defeat an opponent with 200+ rushing yards and it was New England beating Denver 34-31 in 2013. So basically the best result against a 200 rush yard opponent was the best QB of all time beating his opponent by 3 points in a shootout. I'm gonna go ahead and say blaming the offense for any game with a 200 yard rusher is disingenuous.

    Here's where I got my info:http://www.footballdb.com/stats/100-yard-rushing.html?yr=2016

    I mean there's only like 10 of those games total but still (and HOW did our defense let that happen THREE TIMES last year alone??). Doing a quick skim it's pretty rare for 150+ yard rushers to lose, it does happen though. But 200+ yard rushers losing is almost impossible.

    Easily can count both games.

    When the offense has 70 yards passing through 3 qtrs vs Pitt or offense gets shut down by dismal Dolphins defense over and over they get no pass.

    Hopefully next year is better on both sides of the ball.
