Another challenge Freddy will have to overcome
Boludo replied to Webster Guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
he was playing arena league and nfl europe and such before he was in the NFL so it's not like he was living in a time capsule for those few years preserving his body -

Any chance the Bills re-sign Merriman...
Boludo replied to Justice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
why would the sign merriman back? he's got nothing no other team will take him why should the bills be the only dumpster divers that give that pile of trash a job just keep him on the roster forever maybe he'll have a resurgence in his 40s -

Sports Illustrated Playoff Picks
Boludo replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
50/50 is pretty reasonable the Bills have a LOT of question marks but there's a lot of potential and the schedule is extremely soft -

lol great picture really sums it up -
fred jackson and stevie johnson are solid players if your league uses IDPs then byrd is a decent DB, there are some backup LB options, mario is a good d-line you don't really want fitzpatrick and you don't want the bills D if you have a big roster you can handcuff with spiller if you have huge rosters and lots of keepers and stuff you can look at tj graham

Would you watch a "bronze medal" game?
Boludo replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
this creates exactly the same problem that the pro bowl presents: a football game that doesn't matter and is played with low intensity is not entertaining exhibition is not a format that works as well for football as it does for some other sports due to the nature of the game -
Four WRs is plenty (plus Brad "Bubble Screen" Smith). With our nasty D-line and great running backs (and less than top tier QB), we need to play more like the 49ers and less like the Saints. Maybe we'll see more play action too. Line em up and smash mouth!

Did you guys see the latest episode of Hard Knocks? Matt Moore is talking to Tunahill about the various NFL conferences. Tunahill could only name one team in the NFC North on his own, the Vikings. When asked to name a team in the NFC East, he said the CHIEFS. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA He literally doesn't know how many CONFERENCES there are. Good stuff.

Would you feel better about this team if Vick was QB?
Boludo replied to mike6683's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
people that hate on vick are generally racist and/or ignorant about dog fighting in urban culture have you ever seen the japanese bugfights? what if vick made a snake fight an iguana to the death would that be an unforgivable sin? in some countries they eat dog also they apparently dont realize pro sports leagues are loaded with men who commit all sorts of crimes such as dwi or violence or drugs or guns and also plenty of people cheating on their wives and doing any number of immoral things i love my dog and i think the vick crimes were heinous but i dont watch nfl football to get life lessons from great role model vick is obviously superior to fitz and is a one of the more entertaining players to watch -
Osweiler can't sing, bonfire bad, carnival bad, goodbye dummy
Boludo replied to Gugny's topic in Off the Wall Archives
im just glad kelsay is alright -
i think they bills dont have a lot of players the national media respects and they will have to consistently prove it before they got that respect i think byrd had such a hot run for a while he got his name out there and writes like to mention him and the jury is somewhat still out on him but i think he'll contibrute well over the next several for the bills i think levitre is solid and im glad hes a bill but i dont know that he is all pro elite level i think the bills have a long history of making poor draft decisions but i think they overall management of the franchise has been better in the last year

Seau brain was damaged (CTE), family sues NFL
Boludo replied to dayman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
the problem is people dont all retire at the same time with rookies you can bring em all in and have chris carter give em some words of wisdom players retire at all different times and a lot of players only play a short period i mean how do you judge who is famous enough to need help? hopefully they have surrounded themselves with quality people that can help them with the transition but really these are grown men not kids and if they need some help they can reach out for it -
the organization likes chandler and cooley is washed up anyways

Did the Bills really reach for T.J. Graham?
Boludo replied to Damond Talbot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i think tj graham has actually looked pretty good this preseason at the the time of the pick it was pretty reachy, but i wasnt really pulling for wilson in that pick anyways now i feel a little better about the pick because i think graham can contribute wilson has looked good there is no denying that but preseason is preseason and lets face it its tough out there for a rookie qb and he's got a hard road ahead of him -
Lamp; For a preseason guy that I am. Here is my take:
Boludo replied to Clippers of Nfl's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
fitz is not a gunslinger to me a gunslinger is a qb that is constantly throwing downfield trying to make it happen just because you throw lots of ints doesnt mean you are a gunslinger -
Description of the current Bills Offense
Boludo replied to Trader's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
two words? quick slant water bug college offense hot route short throw but really the two words that sum up the majority of this offense: fred jackson -
Have you adjusted your expectations based on preseason?
Boludo replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yes i have adjusted my expectations the d-line looks every bit as nasty as advertised but during the offseason i kind of forgot how marginal fitzpatrick was and now after seeing him back out there a bit i am reminded of the truth he's not the worst starting qb out there dont get me wrong but he's clearly in the lower half of the league among starting qbs and right now he's a big limiting factor for the franchise i still think the bills will be improved and compete for a playoff spot -
Steelers Luck goes awry, top two draft picks out
Boludo replied to ganesh's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
hey im not going into the game rooting for injuries to happen but lets face it injuries are a fact of life every year there are going to be many severe injuries in the nfl that is reality if they have to happen i would prefer they affect the other teams key guys and not to our key guys if tom brady goes down again i wont be thinking "oh poor patriots nation doesnt get another SB" i will be thinking "ohh man this sure helps the bills playoff chances!" - that doesnt mean im actively out for blood against brady but should something happen im not going to lie to myself and pretend it doesnt help the bills and it wasnt a good thing for us
