I would hope that even if he is CLEARLY better than McCarron, they still roll McCarron out there. That offensive line as things stand is garbage. I wasn't thrilled about the Allen move but I'm coming around. I like all the defensive picks that have followed and it's building my faith back up. I just PRAY the organization is looking to red shirt Allen for a season, let McCarron get his clock cleaned, and then restock the O-line next offseason and add some weapons and let Allen come into a much better situation. That plan sounds great to me. Throwing Allen out there this season will ruin the kid.

Your hits and misses on Polian are all wrong, and you are also evaluating drafts that used to have 12 rounds in the same way you evaluate 7 round drafts. The whole thing is competely off base and nonsensical.

Look at which QBs made the conference championships this year: Case Keenum Nick Foles Blake Bortles That's three of the final four! These scrubs made it to the very end because they had extremely good rosters behind them. The Bills are loaded with so many picks that they can put themselves into a position to follow a very similar model. They need to use all those picks to load this roster up with talent for years to come. Keep all the picks, load up on talent, don't mortgage everything on one make or break pick. The Jets just gave away their 1st and a full three second round picks to move up 3 spots. How much is it going to cost the Bills to move into the top few spots? Keep the picks, take what you can get at 12 (almost certainly Lamar Jackson is there, good chance Mayfield falls to 12 or at least very close for a more reasonable trade up), and use all those picks to fill the holes on the roster that sorely need to be addressed. Building an extremely strong team is going to set them up far better in the long run.

i dont know if you realize this but the bills are one of the worst franchises in the league and are considered a laughingstock they have always been bad from the start we are talking decades they were good for a while under polian - he was a great exec that had success his entire career but ralph ran him out of town outside of that they have always been a bad team
