  1. I think Bayless started out, believe it or not, as a reasonably competent and credible writer/reporter. He went "showbiz" when he saw that well drying up.
  2. Even if I lived in Buffalo I wouldn't listen to those morons. Local talk/sports radio blows no matter where you are. I get all of my Bills news here, The Buffalo News, or through Twitter/X.
  3. It's the reason why "team reporters" is a misnomer. They're just the NFL version of Baghdad Bob.
  4. This poor guy bounces up and down more than a Super-Ball.
  5. [pats self on back] My thoughts exactly when I posted a couple of days ago...Cook and Ty Johnson in line for big games.
  6. Still in my top 5 all-time for games attended. Went from an "oh, crap" feeling to "holy s-h-i-t!!!" in about five minutes. Rich Stadium was insane.
  7. Where's Guy Chamberlin when you need him? C'mon, Terry...
  8. The Ravens have so much more to lose this weekend…the Steelers are playing with house money. I expect Tomlin to have them loose and ready to go. Baltimore is clearly the better team but this is going to be a one score game in the 4th quarter and anything can happen.
  9. That was a fun watch. Does anyone really think they won’t be focused and ready?
  10. It’s a shame some feel the need to start threads like this. I used to do it occasionally, but I then realized that nobody is changing anyone’s mind in this forum with a few exceptions. We are who we are — and the bottom line is that none of us have any impact upon what happens on the field. At our best, we are united in hoping for a Bills Super Bowl win. At our worst, we argue over things we can’t control and try to prove we are “right” or know more than someone else. I’ll say what I always say: this is a fun team and I’m thankful to be watching a guy like Josh Allen represent our team and fan base. Only one team wins the Super Bowl each year and a lot of things have to go right to get there. Go Bills!
  11. Just calling it like I see it. I have no idea what in the world you see as a similarity between these two situations other than just being a sad sack Bills fan looking for reasons to torture yourself.
  12. It sounds to me as though right now Keon's highest and best use is as a "big slot" guy and in the red zone (where he can go up and get a ball). It's not beating corners and it's (as Steve says) certainly not as an X. Hopefully Brady sees that as well for his use in the playoffs, and then we can see what he works on and (hopefully) where he improves.
  13. Man, it's really hard waiting for Sunday's game...
  14. I think it is very rarely relevant to compare results from different years. The teams are different. That said, Josh turned the ball over recklessly in that game after the Bills went up big. It could just as easily have been a blowout. Josh has matured significantly since that time. If there is one thing that is consistent about the McD/Josh Bills, however, it is that they typically beat the snot out of teams they are supposed to beat. After this week the real battles begin.
  15. So is this something you have noticed all year? If so, it appears to be a coaching issue and not a talent issue. Do you agree?
  16. Potential big games for Cook and Ty Johnson in this one.
  17. This thread proving again why fan message boards are predictable and hilarious. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure, and nobody likes to trash their own team’s coaches and covet another team’s coaches like NFL fans.
  18. Well, the Buffalo News guys agree with him. In their “report card” today they specifically mention 4 or 5 of the targets to Keon that were not realistically catchable.
  19. Loved Cribbs…huge part of those ‘80-81 teams that ended the Miami curse and made the playoffs. I had completely forgotten he ever played for the 49ers.
  20. Strong BBFS from the OP. That was a declining Bills team with an over-the-hill Jim Kelly. These two games have nothing in common.
  21. Please stop shouting at us. You’re scaring me.
  22. Denver is 1-7 against teams with a winning record (not counting their win vs KC backups). Just leaving that here for consideration. It’s Dolphin-like.
  23. I won't rewatch that abomination of a game but it looked like guys were just going through the motions, and drawing any conclusions from what was essentially a preseason contest doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
