  1. And yet some will use this as some kind of indictment against McDermott because he "hasn't won anything." As I stated in another thread...only one team wins it all each year, and there is an extraordinary amount of good fortune necessary to go along with an excellent team. I will go to my grave believing Heath Farwell and Leslie Frazier cost the Bills a shot at a ring two years ago, and a ridiculous flurry of unforeseen circumstances derailed last year's squad. But they are a juggernaut, make no mistake. Some of us predicted this three years ago (ahem). McD is rejuvenated, he loves running this defense, and the players love it. Watch out, NFL. Go Bills! 19 and 1, babyyyyyyyyy!!!
  2. With respect to the NFL I disagree. The “overlooking an opponent” stuff doesn’t happen in professional sports. Teams lose focus and have “bad games” for all sorts of reasons, but the bottom line is that — at least in professional sports — there is really no such thing as a “trap game.” The players on both sides know that the line between very good and very bad is razor thin, and if they don’t respect their opponents they will get their asses kicked.
  3. It’s really a very simple concept called “the better team usually wins.” Are there upsets? Of course, but history tells us it’s not because one team “overlooked” the other team or “let their guard down” because they were thinking about the following week’s opponent. Amazing that people still can’t grasp this.
  4. Just like the delusional hate for McD, and Gabe Davis, and Ed Oliver, and [etc., etc., etc.]. A large part of the fan base has forgotten how to simply enjoy football and root for an excellent team. I don’t know what is wrong with these people. Only one team wins the Super Bowl each year. The fact that for the foreseeable future we are one of the teams in that conversation should be something every Bills fan relishes and celebrates. But they don’t. I get it that people like to analyze and critique the game and have their own perspective…but none of us can control one damn thing. To each his (or her) own. I’m enjoying the hell out of this run. Go Bills! 19 and 1, babyyyyyyyyy!
  5. You think the Brits care that they’ve played there? What is exciting about the Jags? The Bills have huge star power and the fans will travel.
  6. I’ve been saying this for 3+ years now…this Bills team is a juggernaut and it is only some bad luck and Leslie Frazier’s p**sy calls in the 13-second debacle that has kept us out of a couple of Super Bowls. Our time is now and the rest of the league is going to pay. Sean is out for blood and he is enjoying the hell out of calling the defense again.
  7. The best line for oddsmakers is one that attracts equal money on both sides. The sharps try to take advantage of “bad” lines and I think Buffalo -4.5 is just too low. If you think the Bills are going to win you have to think it’s a 7+ game.
  8. That place is going to be 75% pro-Bills, if I had to guess.
  9. Yeah, I drafted him too.
  10. There are more weapons around him and the Bills are running the ball more. He has scored in each of the last three games. As others have noted, there is no need to have a "traditional" #1, #2, #3 target, but some fans can't get this notion out of their heads. I haven't heard Gabe complain about his targets and Josh leads the league in completion percentage. Good grief, they must fix this, and fast! The #HateGabeDavis movement must continue!
  11. Damn skippy. The way we’ve had to white-knuckle these last three weeks is wearing me down…
  12. Right? Their JA had a sack, fumble recovery, and interception in the last meeting. Unreal. That said, I hope the last thing on our JA’s mind is focusing on one player. Just keep doing what you’re doing.
  13. It’s widely known among the team that Dion is one of the better athletes in that room.
  14. Wait — I thought Washington two weeks ago was the trap game? When will you people stop with this nonsense? I believe this is @ScottLaw’s mating cry.
  15. @GunnerBill just spit out his coffee.
  16. This. Always this. It's why I take the posts in this forum with a HUGE grain of salt.
  17. The ONLY thing I will give you credit for is that this is your shortest post ever, and thus the least amount of drivel I have to read. Well done, sir.
  18. Now that it is so close I’m really starting to get excited about the trip. Great to hear that the weather looks good.
  19. If the Bills aren't playing, just being able to do the 2, 3, or 4 game multiview makes it worth it for me.
  20. To hear some of you whine, you'd rather the Bills be mediocre again so you can enjoy your 1 pm Sunday games. Geesh.
  21. Can we get him some new bionic legs?
  22. @colin gotta get the papers, get the papers...
  23. Whoops. It has been corrected. Bernard, Benford, lol...
  24. Buy: Jimbo Cook. I know he has already been playing well but I sense a big play TD this week and a buck fifty of all purpose yards. Sell: Gabe Davis. I hate it, but the inconsistency is killing us. Other guys are going to make plays on Sunday. Hold: Christian (whoops) Terrel Bernard. Love the confidence this guy is playing with. Not expecting him to duplicate last week’s splashy stats but to simply continue looking like he belongs.
  25. …after Sunday the Bills only have two 1 p.m. Sunday games remaining on the schedule…both matchups with the Pats*** (which is funny in itself). That’s remarkable; look how our Bills are all growns up. When the schedule came out and it was talked about how they only had five early Sunday games all year it didn’t sound as significant…but playing three of them in the first four weeks brings it home. We’re a national draw from here on out. Go Bills! Squish the Fish! 19 and 1, Babyyyyyyyyy!!!
