  1. Hence my thread emphasizing a draft emphasis on ST.
  2. Yeah, well, I was scolded for “bashing” fellow posters. I disagree with that assessment and think it was clearly good natured, but whatever.
  3. Hopefully the first of many championships for Josh.
  4. Fearing injury to Josh is the most BBFS thing ever. This would be fun and generate interest in both Josh and the Bills.
  5. Dude. Optimism does not equal “predictions.” And while we’re on the subject, remember when you bemoaned the Bills’ loss of the great Mike Gillislie and predicted Shady would be gone by now? Good times.
  6. I mean, there’s only been a thread on this on the first page for three days...I can see how the OP missed it. Wait...there’s a POLL! Now I get it.
  7. It’s very odd. Almost as if this “executive” is mad that Beane did things differently than the teams who throw stupid money at FAs.
  8. Naw, man. I'm biased, of course, but the Bills' unis are definitely top 10 in the league. It's a classic look. Can't wait to see them run onto the field for a Super Bowl wearing these duds.
  9. No plan? All kidding aside...I mean, wow. Feel free to question whether the signings are good ones, but to say there is no plan? This sounds like the ramblings of somebody who may be a bit envious of how much the Bills were able to accomplish in FA.
  10. You think it’s impossible to make a game fun without penalizing your team? Interesting.
  11. Gotta admit, Stevie was one of my favorite players on the schitty Bills...until he started having a sore groin every week and couldn't understand why getting a 15-yard celebration penalty was a bad thing.
  12. As did about 75% of ESPN's broadcasters. Syracuse isn't a Bills hotbed.
  13. Don't stop him, he's on a roll...
  14. He loves the fan base and believes it's good for the NFL when the Bills are successful. His antics are a bit over the top but he knows his stuff. He hasn't blindly supported bad Bills teams and he ridiculed the Bills for hiring Rex Ryan. The nice thing about this article is that it reinforces what those of us closer to the situation have seen in the way Beane is building the roster. For guys like you who don't believe in Josh Allen I can imagine it's a big yawn.
  15. I'll take 3 in the first two rounds and be thrilled.
  16. Whaley was a victim of the Peter Principle...was hired into a job one step further than what he was qualified for. Good scout and talent evaluator -- horrible team builder and salary cap manager. I think Beane clearly isn't as experienced as a scout but he knows that and has surrounded himself with those people. He appears, at this early stage, to be quite proficient at the team building and salary cap management aspects of the job -- and the dude seems to know how to maneuver his way around a draft board!
  17. ...or the turd in the punch bowl, fly in the ointment, party pooper...you know, the guy everyone wants to be or be with!
  18. If the Bills wind up with Quinnen Williams in this draft I might have to change my shorts.
  19. You're my boy, blue!
  20. I feel like this was the plan with Long, particularly when they acquired Morse. Long will get the chance to earn the RG position and also serve as the backup C unless another guy shows propensity for that role (or if they keep Bodine).
  21. ^^^ this guy. You left out "failed with bargain basement FA signings last year." I mean, come on, if you're going to be you, at least be consistent.
  22. I feel like Beane is going to be very aggressive and try to get 3-4 picks in the first two rounds, which means giving up a fair share of those picks.
  23. Hey @TaskersGhost -- given your screen name, I really think you should get behind my "drafting for ST" thread.
  24. If you don't understand why I needed to say that, you haven't been around here very long!
  25. And people wonder why I included the phrase “this is a parody thread” in my ST post?
