Fasten your seatbelts...I think Thursday is going to be fun. I refuse to believe anything I've heard but I expect a lot of activity.

Game of Thrones - And Now Our Watch Has Ended!
eball replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Nah, I think it's that one of the "reality" challenges they (HBO) have representing the NK and his army now is the dragon. I mean, is the NK (or the dragon) just up there flying around all the time? Does the dragon walk some of the time while NK is on a horse? When you think about how slow that army travels it's difficult to represent. I think we'll see in the next episode that he's there, and will fly in over the army in an effort to reach Bran. Of course, I could be completely wrong. -

Just a horrible take. But whatever, to each his own. -
Why do people at NFLN take Cynthia Frelund seriously?

Every time I see Casserly on screen I expect him to start melting. -
Bills have interest in Seattle DE Frank Clark
eball replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Speaking of garbage...this post qualifies. If Seattle is insisting on a 1st for Clark I'm glad Beane is out. "Lackluster nightlife" as a reason players won't come to Buffalo...I'm still laughing... -
Different era. Also, Steel Curtain defense, Franco Harris, Lynn Swann, and John Stallworth.

Interesting thought on Hock & the Bills on Twitter
eball replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd be willing to bet a bunch of dollars that John Murphy doesn't know Jack Schitt about who the Bills might draft. -
Yeldon simply provides more options. Beane is smart enough to know that relying upon two 30+ year old backs for an entire season probably isn't practical.

I agree, all of the Starks can't survive. Something else I'm waiting to see...what is Beric Dondarrion's role? As we've heard a number of times, he was brought back for a reason. -
If Yeldon had been signed as the Bills' feature back I think there would be reason for concern. But he wasn't. And he caught 65 passes last season. This is the kind of move the Pats*** would make and everyone would rave about how much they'll get out of him in a RBBC system. But it's the Bills so nah.

Game of Thrones - And Now Our Watch Has Ended!

I want Arya to live but I think 99% of fans do...which means she'll probably die. -
Shady. Gore. Yeldon. This is all about Josh Allen. Jokes about age aside, Beane is putting experienced players in the backfield with Josh -- guys who (1) know where they are supposed to be, (2) know who they are supposed to block, and (3) can provide an outlet as receivers when needed. It's a very astute plan.

It's going to be fun watching Shady return to 2016-17 form behind an OL that can actually block, and then watching all of you start backtracking.

Game of Thrones - And Now Our Watch Has Ended!

True. Arya killing Cersei as Jaime would be brilliant. -
To me it becomes less and less likely the Bills draft a RB...probably in part because Beane is going to be moving some of those draft picks to get more early round selections.

Game of Thrones - And Now Our Watch Has Ended!
eball replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Copied from other thread: Since there are three episodes left after next week we have to assume (don't we?) that the Night King will be defeated. I think Jon kills him. I think Jon, Sansa, Tyrion survive. Theon, Grey Worm, Brienne are almost certain to die. I'm thinking Jaime will live as there needs to be at least one more encounter with Cersei. When do we see Melisandre again? Edit -- on second thought maybe Jaime (Kingslayer) kills the Night King? Poetic... -

I mean, what would have been annoying is if Tormund suddenly began waxing poetic and sharing thoughts of battle strategy. I thought the giant's blood story was perfect. -

Has Tormund ever been a deep thinker on the show? Think about it. He fights, talks about f**king, and looks fierce. -

Yes, that scene definitely sealed it but that was Missandei. I'm talking about when will we see the Red Witch. -

LOL at anyone who has truly watched the show and thinks last night's episode was a "waste." It was a terrific episode. For one, it reinforced that Bran and Jaime are the only two who know Jaime pushed Bran out of the tower, and that there is a "plan" for Jaime (likely a sacrifice for the greater good of the living). One of the biggest takeaways (for me) from last night was further evidence that Dany has gone beyond trying to "make the world better than we left it" and now sounds more like the power-hungry rulers before her. Everything is about "retaking the Iron Throne." This will be her undoing, as I'm now thinking she will not survive to the end. It would have been so easy for her to reassure Sansa that the North would be left on its own after the war. I wasn't at all surprised by Dany's reaction to Jon's revelation -- in her mind, the guy whose family she barbecued and Jon's brother want to undermine her. As noted above this was a last chance to see all of our "favorite" characters again, because many will die in the episode(s) to come. How can that be "annoying" or "a waste?" I guess if you only watch the show for the nudity and gore that might be your thinking. Next week the schitt hits the fan. -
Can the Bills wait past the 3rd Rd for a RB ?

What, with your wallet? What does this statement even mean? -
Gunner, you are a TBD treasure!
