  1. I don't care whether Oliver is labeled a "starter" on W1 or not...it's clear he's going to be playing a lot and wreaking a lot of havoc.
  2. They've had four padded practices in a row. This is going to be a "light" day in preparation for the "show" at The Cap tomorrow night.
  3. Agreed, I've had the channel on in the background and they are "checking in" at camp frequently.
  4. Wow, lots of foreshadowing indeed. Two lengthy Giant drives taking more than 7:00 off the clock, having success running the ball, and then also some missed tackles allowing 3rd down conversions when Hostetler was in. Still, fun to remember when the Bills actually won big games!
  5. This is an insane "point" you are trying to prove. The Bills and their fans have already been subject to laughter and critique for Peterman's antics. What additional punishment are you seeking to impose upon us? Why this crusade? So they didn't cut Peterman until midway through last season...so what? They cut him and it's over. I simply do not understand supposed Bills fans who want to see other Bills fans muted or beaten down. You have some ridiculous notion that we are supposed to continue to suffer for the Peterman debacle? Why does that make any sense at all? And as to your "worry" that the Peterman debacle implies McD doesn't know how to evaluate talent, that's absurd as well. The QB position is unique. Peterman was one of those guys who did absolutely everything right except perform in games. And it doesn't matter any more. He's gone. So again -- what is your point? That people should be sitting around "worrying" about whether McD can evaluate talent? Go for it, buddy. I've got better things to do like get ready for what appears will be a fun season.
  6. Dude. McD said the same things about Peterman that Gruden is. Peterman obviously is a great guy who does very well in non-pressure practice situations. He has some quality about him that makes these coaches think he will be able to translate it to games, but when the "real" bullets fly he becomes one of the worst to ever play the position. That's not a flaw in McD's "process" -- it's a mistaken evaluation. It's over. But it's hilarious that a new coach (Gruden) is falling into the same trap.
  7. 6 in a row, baby.
  8. "Many?" How about "a stubborn few." I certainly wasn't one of them. Regardless, your "point" in this thread (calling Bills fans hypocrites) is dubious at best. Don't you have something better to do?
  9. @Chemical thanks for confirming you’re a troll. You know, if you don’t like the topic in a thread you can completely avoid it! Crazy how that works. I can’t think of a single Bills fan who understands or supports McD’s odd attachment to Peterman. That doesn’t mean we can’t laugh at and belittle Gruden for apparently making the same mistake.
  10. C'mon, Dog, you know better than to feed trolls...
  11. 2018 -- one (Murphy) 2019 -- two (Kroft, Morse) Yeah, sounds about right. Look, there's no way to positively spin Morse having another concussion but you guys go off the deep end waaaay too quickly.
  12. Eddie is feeling it out there today!
  13. Is it wrong for me to like the fact that Josh throws a couple of picks? I mean, the Bills' D is pretty good and he has to learn what he can and can't get away with. That's what practice is for.
  14. Somebody get this guy a Kelso helmet, STAT!
  15. It's all over the Tweeter.
  16. "Not good" is an understatement. That was the primary concern with this guy coming in. Oh boy...
  17. I'll be at G2 in Charlotte....
  18. Moulds' breakout year was that season ('98)...the playoff game was just icing on the cake. He was awesome all year.
  19. But @MR8 -- I'm reading in this thread that what Beane did was "unprecedented, reckless, and unnecessary!" I guess I would agree that for the Bills managing the cap well IS unprecedented!
  20. He really is, because Josh gets pretty fired up and it will be great to have that balance in the huddle and on the field.
  21. I love Ed Oliver and it's crazy to me that some people think he has an attitude problem. The guy is spewing McD-isms out of his mouth left and right.
  22. Deserves it. The guy is an absolute beast.
  23. My pleasure. Yeah, I think they are bullish on the organization but just being cautious. There really is something novel in the way Beane attacked the OL revamp, and people are starting to take notice. By the way, Alexander said he loves Cody Ford as a RT and doesn't agree with those who said he needs to move to G.
