  1. No schitt. This really provides great insight.
  2. Coincidentally, I found an online photo of our beloved ScottLaw as well:
  3. Saint Doug borrowed that one and hasn't returned it yet.
  4. The "keys to the game" were cringe-worthy.
  5. Now this is cool. The Cap will now support pylon cameras! That's an important addition for our upcoming home playoff games.
  6. I have said pretty consistently that this is the year for the Bills to show significant progress, and then in 2020 they begin league domination. I'm only half-kidding -- it pretty much depends upon them being right with Allen -- but I like the way Beane approaches roster building and I like the way McD gets his players to buy in. I really need to see some gameday "stuff" this year that shows me McD and his staff "get it."
  7. Very odd. Got to be more to this story. They were a playoff team and the guy has only been there for less than a year and a half.
  8. I think people will have a pretty good idea of what Allen is (or is not) before Thanksgiving. Just sayin'...
  9. I think the more accurate statement, at this point, is to say that predicting the Pats*** will NOT win the AFC East is not smart business. This Bills team is really an unknown and should not be held to the same (low) standard of their predecessors. So much relies upon Allen's progression from Y1 to Y2 and how well Beane has addressed the OL and receiving corps.
  10. I'd have thought more along the lines of Cheektovegas.
  11. He's a f***king neanderthal, what do people expect? He was a great NFL player and will go to the HOF but he's also a complete moron and buffoon. The two aren't mutually exclusive.
  12. I am rooting for ROR and St. Louis. In retrospect he said what needed to be said, and the culture in the Buffalo "room" was clearly awful. The "negative" on ROR is that he just wasn't the sort of person who could take charge and change things. Not everyone can. Oh, and he drunk drove into a Tim Horton's. That wasn't cool.
  13. Fair points. I give them a pass on Glenn because that was a good trade and provided some of the draft capital used to acquire Allen and Edmunds.
  14. I don't think it's "playoffs or bust" -- I think it's a better than .500 record, the elimination of "bad losses" like we've seen the past couple of years, and offensive statistics that aren't mired at the bottom of the league. Those are my criteria, anyway.
  15. Brady is the very definition of the guy who doesn't need to attend voluntary workouts. I have no problem with this whatsoever.
  16. Yup. Process or not, it's year three and the team has to start showing results on the field.
  17. I think this is a reasonable statement -- I'll only disagree that they "bungled" the OL. They couldn't predict Wood's injury/retirement, and I guess they didn't need to ask Richie to take a pay cut but they certainly didn't expect him to flip out the way he did. If both of those guys had returned last year we could have seen some much different results.
  18. The Eagles were in a bit of a pickle. They let Foles -- a bonified Philly legend now -- walk away for nothing, and they have a fan base who really likes Wentz but are also uneasy. They needed to send a message to Wentz, the fan base, and the team that Carson is "their guy." I think they needed to do this even though it is admittedly a risk.
  19. Has anyone brought up Retatta? Of course, you need to set aside half a day.
  20. Mebane is a town about 20 miles west of Chapel Hill. I have some good friends who live there...some nice areas and a country club...and also a decent number of rednecks.
  21. Yeah, I'm starting to fall into the trap of going from "who is this guy that was running a soccer team" to "holy crap how did we get this guy" -- he's a hell of a speaker, that's for sure.
  22. It's about time the Massholes had to go through what every other franchise goes through. Come on, Blues, end this thing this weekend.
  23. Dude sounds hungry for sure. Hope his coaching method of "tough love" gets through to these guys.
