The game last night was great for a couple of reasons: 1. It further diminished the Fishies' and Bungles' chances of making the playoffs. Cinci is almost certainly done now, and the Fish are two games behind Denver in the L column. 2. It showed that both of those teams have some firepower to go up against the Cheifs.

I and the Mrs. will be there as well…in a suite! Can’t wait.

As the Bills continue to show they are not a one hit wonder and are actually a top organization it is indeed funny how a number of posters pretending to be fans disappear.

Haven’t read this thread but I did watch the end of that schitt-show on Thursday. One of the worst examples of end-of-game clock management (perhaps the worst) I’ve ever seen. Eberflus completely deserved to lose his job but the Bears should have waited until the end of the season. The OC needs time to work with Caleb and putting all of the new interim HC responsibilities on him was dumb.

Please point out these people. Any of them. One of them. Newsflash — it is ok for football fans to comment on what they are seeing out of the KC Chiefs right now. They look pretty mediocre and have gotten a preponderance of ridiculously fortuitous bounces to win football games.

Lord knows the "big nickel" didn't work very well against the Ravens earlier this year...knowing Williams is now not a liability gives the Bills the chance to be a little more variable the next time around. Will be interesting to watch for sure.

You’re getting too caught up in this “absolute peak” language, which is not what I said. The difference between the best and worst teams in the pros is minimal. It all comes down to coaching, execution, injuries, and luck. With few exceptions, the players are trying their best, because their future compensation depends on it even if the team isn’t good.

Sorry I picked your post to respond to (it's nothing personal) but these kinds of comments frustrate me. Do you think the 49ers weren't in "desperation mode" yesterday at Green Bay? There's no reason not to expect every team's "best effort" in every game. That crap happens in high school and college when a guy's girlfriend breaks up with him the night before the game or the guys are more worried about the party afterwards. Not in the pros (unless you're the Giants and you see your front office kick your QB to the curb for a caricature so you decide you're not going to lay it on the line for them). The 49ers are only a game out of first in their very winnable division. Of course they are still playing for something. If the Bills aren't prepared they'll lose. I'm not really worried that they won't be.
