  1. Tyrod is a good field general, good runner, good teammate, and therefore in my view a good QB despite limitations. (I like him a lot, but sometimes I just have to scream "THROW IT at the TV). No reason for panic moves next year, if there is a good value take it, if not don't. But for now - GO TYROD!
  2. Fitz's father is Joe Camel.
  3. Yup, two for Zay today. Give the guy until the second half before you give up on 'em eh? Perhaps he will fail in NFL because he can't get separation, but he won't fail because he has bad hands. He has proven that is not the case, just been lacking in the confidence department and letting the yips get in his head. That we have gotten less than zero from him so far is a reason for excitement. Him, Dawkins, Tre, Milano - what a draft, and they will all be better in November and December if healthy. Something to look forward to.
  4. Offense picked them up today. Should have been a blowout if D played as usual and we didn't squander chances, but you can't have everything! Hope Poyer is ok
  5. This is indeed great. And Gilmore is out tonight because he strained his groin trying to cover Deonte in some practice reps ;-) Okay, I am lying. But it is true Gilly's family can't see him tonight.
  6. TT should get his rushing yards added to his passing yards. So he went for like 318 today.
  7. Deonte the man. Liked him when he was in camp. Didn't know he was that fast. And it is great to know that he is *&)&)(&(*!!! CRAZY now that Robert Woods is gone. We needed some of that - and more cow bell! If he can stretch the field, Matthews play the slot and Zay round in to handling the other boundary we could have a fine receiving corp. Especially once we get my man Clay back!
  8. Uh-oh. What was making him scream?
  9. Milano White Taylor Thompson
  10. 3 for 42. Sammy not a part of the scoring, and a small part of the offense even today. Eeesh. Deonte!
  11. I always liked Cordy. Wish we knew if this foot thing was chronic or not.
  12. If he is a FA should be able to get him for a 4th. I would love. LOVE it, but can't see McBeane biting on this one (sadly). Then again, a 4th would be a cheap test drive for McBeane. Sign him if he is not a problem.
  13. And used to BBQ with his neighbors in Hamburg after the games. What a fella! Hope he rides the pine next week. I will have to see if a little of Briscoe's magic can counteract the beard.
  14. Terrified. You see that Jets game last year. Like the dude was working roots on us or something, sick black-art voodoo coming out of the beard.
  15. If per above Woods is the better all-around receiver than Watkins, then so is Jordan Matthews. Heart, blocking - all of the things Woods does well Matthews does well. And I agree about Woods, wish we kept him - with him and Matthews we would have a pretty decent receiving core and less pressure on young Z.
  16. How could Tampa have hired Fitzbeardy as a back-up. It is GUARANTEED that Winston gets hurt. Everyone knows that Fitz as back-up is the kiss of death for your starter. Thank goodness Winston back next week.
  17. Surprised he is only 31. Maybe he healed up?
  18. The OP has it exactly right.
  19. Rams: Let's see, Gurley, Sammy, Woods and the "franchise QB" that took a zillion picks to get their hands on. Well, they put up a whopping 10 points. Hell, TT can do that. Point is (i) all teams have down days offensively and (ii) Sammy is not the automatic cure for the offense. We should stay the course. Let McBeane pick a QB if they like the value and build the roster. We will get our weapons - that we are competitive this year is a gift. And I would not rather 4 wins than 8. I think it is far better for the part of the roster that is already here to believe we are not that far away. Once you have Cleveland levels of suck it is very hard to pull up.
  20. He did almost kill AJ Green though. I would not want to anger Zo.
  21. Agree with this Sorry - three above. Don't agree we have typical depth
  22. I see it as mostly good for a rook, but I am a relentless optimist!
  23. Rooting for the kid. As mentioned before, I happen to know the family. He loves the game and works his tail off. Hope he grades out okay!
  24. How do folks think he played? Seemed okay to me - not an obvious problem spot. Anyone have insight?
