  1. If you think we developed EJ properly THAT is delusional. Not saying he will ever be a good starting NFL QB, but he was handled VERY badly. You should see that.
  2. Anybody notice the size of Allen's hands? Holy cow!!! They are like swim fins with thumbs. I heard he kicked Vita's butt in a bar fight.
  3. No kidding! They worked out Rosen, they worked out Allen. Allen is physically superior in EVERY respect. Rosen more pro-ready. Post by 26CornerBlitz from ESPN seems right: McCarron gives Bills the luxury of getting Allen right (unlike what they did to EJ). Huge difference from the EJ pick where they traded down and settled for EJ (great guy, not yet a good QB), they went up and got their guy. Rosen didn't measure up. It is pretty arrogant for the board to think they know better than the Bills scouts. Every other QB desperate team passed on Rosen too - until the Cards who got the leftover because they were in a bad spot. Allen may or may not work out, but I respect what they did here. And I bet he works out.
  4. Wentz 2.0 too! YIPPEE! It went just right.
  5. So stoked. Feel we got better talent at 7 and 16 than Browns got at 1 & 4. Allen is by all accounts a worker, he has elite arm talent, great running skills and ENORMOUS hands. Lighted up if you had a man crush on another - he is now our man! Lighten
  6. So true. I REALLY wanted Allen, and did not want Rosen one bit, but I would have been excited about any of the big 4 - all good prospects.
  7. Exactly. AZ got the leftovers - smelly day old Rosen - we got our choice! Red hot Allen
  8. With those GIANT hands flopping along at his sides. A mountain of a man. And a blue-collar, farm boy, lunch pail, Kyle Williams, beer slugging Buffalo kind of guy.
  9. I was afraid we would be stuck with "what's left" - be it Rosen or Allen. We played it right, near perfect, didn't overpay and had our choice of the two and took Allen. We should all be psyched, regardless of who we wanted, until Bills are proven wrong. They identified their guy and went and got him. They did not want Rosen. Wishing the Rosen kid the best since he is not in our conference, but we got our man. That is all one can ask for at this point. Time will tell if we are right.
  10. Wentz and Allen are physically clones. But Allen will be better because he is a Bill (and Rosen isn't),
  11. Allen the man! Can't wait to see him launch it 70 yards! He is so big he can block for himself. AND THOSE HANDS! Beauties!
  12. Allen is rated higher than Rosen almost everywhere that i have seen. And since none of us know ANYTHING compared to the diligence the Bills did why not just get behind Allen. He is in fact our QB and has done nothing wrong on the field for us. I have never seen so much irrational love for a player as this board has expressed for Rosen. He was there but WE DID NOT WANT HIM. End of story. If years prove it a mistake you can crow about it later. But you can't possibly be correct tonight so get over Rosen, he ain't playing here - never, ever, ever. Except on a visiting team. Suck it up.
  13. I get the draft value chart. Fear was vast overpayment. Didn't have to give up our draft. Edmunds too! Didn't give up next year. Got a 6'5" QB with a cannon who can run. I think the accuracy will be fine - based on 2nd half of senior bowl. Showed touch. Wishing Rosen the best, but really did NOT want him. Yippee!
  14. Can't believe we got Allen for that price. Yahoo!
  15. Never wanted Rosen. Out of the league injured in 3 years I fear - hope not for the kid. ALLEN!
  16. If it was not a real Rosen account, my bad, but really. We just didn't want him. Get over it. ALLEN BABY!
  17. Bye-bye baby Rosen. What a ****, tweeted he would love to be part of Bills - now he dodged them? Hello Allen!
  18. Allen is the one I have wanted, and I like everything else I have heard about the kid. Nevertheless, those tweets are not good. Always an excuse for a white athlete - he is a kid, it was a mistake. Words matter. And while I don't think these words necessarily mean he is a racist, they were uttered in 2013 not 1953. And as such even at 16 he should have known better. So while I would not judge him a racist based on these tweets they do reflect bad judgment. Having said that the reaction seems about right - he deserves some criticism and to apologize and that should be the end of it.
  19. Or it could be true, don't want Darnold, and trying to drum up bidding on No. 1 pick for which so far they allegedly received "no legit offers"? Get 'er done Beane! Truth: The ultimate smoke.
  20. Could be erl business?
  21. Didn't he own fracking leases in Ohio?
  22. I don't want Rosen, but now I don't want him less. ' All in for any QB they choose. I was nervous about this a week ago, but the calming realization (albeit belated) that it is utterly out of my hands has left me sanguine.
