I meant did not make sense when I saw 4.56 and his size. Typo - mean to say he appears faster than his timed combined time and it therefore may well make sense. Seems he may have very good speed and change of direction abilities.

Pick did not make sense. He ran poorly at the combine for whatever reason. Ran at this pro day and allegedly scouts told him they had him in high 4.3's or low 4.4's. Has elite change of direction skills. One article I saw said "not the next Tyreek Hill after all" - so at least somebody thought he was. He is a gadget runner/pass catcher and return guy. Interesting piece. 4.56 made no sense, but if he is 4.40 it does.

Checked Wadley based on another poster. Sounds interesting if he could beef up a bit: "Great athlete but what is his value? He's pretty dangerous as a pass catcher but I don't know if you can trust him to protect your quarterback. He's a skinny rotational running back with some juice. He'll test great but I still don't know if his value is higher than the third day." - AFC regional scout I used to kind of like the Cardinals, but I now hate them until Rosen retires.

I do think now is the time to pick BPA who they believe projects to being pretty good. Using these picks to plug holes on a prayer is a bad play, IMHO. Better to plug holes after draft with vets because they are what they are -- use the picks for hoped-for future starters. At this stage I would make need a much lesser priority.

I trust our guys, especially when it comes to DBs. We knew Hyde had talent, but wo thought EJ Gaines and Poyer were going to approach what they were last year? Not me.

Has he been any good? Last I heard he was considered disappointing?

I am okay with it, needed a backup CB. Sounds like Gaines a bit - hits in the running game, good with the ball in front of him, concerns he can't find it in the air deep downfield. In our zone he won't have to!
