  1. He is going to be sidelined by games end, and EJ back in.
  2. It will be the same for me. The Offensive line can not protect. We replaced a decent young, developing QB, with a guy who lost his job to Tim Tebow. The Offensive play calling is garbage, and of course McKelvin.
  3. Thank God that the Sabres hit the ice in 9 days. Has anyone actually looked up his stats? They suggest a middle of the road QB, what is the upside? We have ruined another QB with a pre-mature benching. I hope that I will be eating crow by December.
  4. So true, and made me laugh.
  5. That was my point. Then what? Another, coach new staff with new schemes. What a mess. Pulling the plug after four games was knee jerk. Maybe this is linked to the explosion on the practice field. When Marone found out they signed Orton, he went ballistic.
  6. Nothing like Tim Graham. I am tired of this team playing QB carousel. Is this how we develop young talent? Orton is not going to propel us into the playoffs. Yes, I am an EJ supporter and I don't apologize for that. What I feel should be done is let him play the year out. If he is not the answer, draft another, or go after a big name during free agency. What's another year without making the postseason? The coach/QB carousel is a big reason for our lack of success. Here is a novel idea. Build an offensive line that can protect the QB. Wasn't Marone an offensive lineman? This is the line he assembled. Wait until Orton is running for his life.
  7. I can't wait until the Orton project fails, it is inevitable. If he were any good, he would be starting elsewhere.
  8. Good point, I do not believe NJ is a good situation for any QB, even Favre bolted when the opportunity arose.
  9. Amen So that is what? 30 something years of combined experience between those QBs?
  10. Oh dear. Here we are 2-2, the sky is falling, take cover. Hmmmm, with all of those hits he took, and QB pressures is there any wonder? The Offensive line is a problem. Any QB would be having issues. But hey, let's start a journeyman QB in Orton, that will solve everything.
  11. We desperately need two gurads, and a RT.
  12. Can't wait for the inevitable, " what should we give up for Tannenhill" debate.
  13. Hackett was definitley calling them. Everytime EJ was coming g off the field during the TOs, it was Hackett talking to him discussing plays. The run was played well today.
  14. Good point. Forgot about that. How in the hell does that not get called against Watt. Completely disagree. EJ would he playing a hell of a lot better if he had time to throw. There definitely were passes he should have completed. On the other hand, there were so.e routes that were either illegally picked, and a few where the WR was at fault by not running the route properly.
  15. Agreed. EJ didn't have a good game, but that last non pass interference call was tragic. The offensive line, and the DBs, particularly McKelvin are killing us. Watkins dropping 3 very catchable passes did not help.
  16. Interesting Stat CBS posted on Geno. 10 career losses. In those losses 5 TDs, 22 turnovers. Ummmmm, no thank you.
  17. This is the only team where Pears would be starting. Our line is a mess.
  18. Well played.
  19. I can not believe this is still going. Figured the debate would have ended last week.
  20. It never ends.....I would take what we have.
  21. I stated this in another post. EJ seems to be floating the ball instead of firing it. He has a strong arm, and needs to use it, particularly at home when the wind is usually a factor.
