I don't get this either. Do they see Preston Brown being able to fill Kiko's role? I thought this draft was pretty heavy on RBs. This I don't like.

I honestly think he can be a good QB in this league. He really has not been given a real good opportunity thus far. I am an EJ supporter. One thing for sure is I am tired of the franchise wasting 1st round picks. I think the sample size of his play is no way an indicator whether or not he can be a franchise QB. I am a firm believer they should bring in a legitimate veteran at QB and make EJ earn the right to play.

That would be my fear. Is he worth a ton of money?, and can he stay healthy. My opinion is a resounding no on both. The risk is not worth the reward.

I love the arm chair GMs/QB coaches. We really have no idea what EJ will be. I for one say give him a chance, he had a pretty good rookie season before the injury. Year two, I believe he was benched because of the spat between Saint Doug, and Whaley. He certainly would not have performed any worse than Orton last year, probably better. I just don't see where we can improve the QB position through FA, or the draft this year.

There was a huge difference between this year, and last. Particularly in his throwing motion. He played a lot better his rookie year. I honestly believe they tried to change his entire game. You could tell EJ was over thinking the process this year. Plus the putrid Offensive line didn't help matters.
