  1. They usually like to have a win and in game on SNF. Any of these might get some consideration Falcons Bucs Jets Dolphins Bengals Ravens Outside shot for Lions-Packers, Cowboys-Commanders
  2. The refs changing that call in the 2nd half from TD to touchback is still one of my all time BS calls. You can't just make up hand signals, knowing the rules is important. Then this: https://billswire.usatoday.com/2021/04/11/nfl-finally-admits-call-from-bills-texans-playoff-game-was-legal/
  3. He thought (rightfully so) he would get more of a shot with the giants and all of their injuries. Honestly good for him though, but i don't think he "never got a shot". He got plenty, he was hurt, or outplayed. Buffalo is missing Crowder and Kumerow. They still have Diggs and Davis outside, and Mckenzie and shakir inside. He wasn't going to get a ton of playing time as a #5 in buffalo. Buffalo replaced him as depth with Brown and Beasley, and I don't think having him would at all have prevented Buffalo from drafting someone fairly early next season. NYG are missing Sheperd and Robinson. Moved Toney. Injuries and just straight up benching of Golladay. 2 first rounders, a high paid guy, and a longtime vet for the team are all out of the lineup. If Diggs, Davis, Crowder and Mckenzie all were hurt - I'd imagine Hodgins would see a big jump in snaps
  4. I dunno - was 3 years of practicing here not enough?
  5. Who cares about next year right now though? He's been one of the consistent weapons in the red zone this year - therefore i don't bench him.
  6. Can't sit mckenzie imo. He's one of our few red zone weapons whos actually done anything.
  7. I only remember the one drop - was there another?
  8. Mahomes is the same - but they are so good at them. A lot of that is Reid though.
  9. Some of us have all 4! don't forget also being a twobillsdrive poster.
  10. The 32nd pick in the draft got about 3m per year. That would slot in at 19th in the NFL for running backs with the highest AAV at 16M for CMC. That would slot in at about 55th in the NFL for wide receivers with the highest AAV at 30M for Tyreek Hill. You can make many arguments about why you like the player, or a RB at that spot. But cap management is not a reason.
  11. I don't think it was consensus - but many people wanted Harris and Etienne in 2021, and Hall in 2022. The following players are UFAs though: Barkley Jacobs Sanders Pollard Williams Wilson Mostert Montgomery Singletary Hunt Perine A couple will probably get some decent money, but after the first 3 or 4 big money deals drop and the money dries up they can probably get a pretty good guy for the rotation in the sub-5M AAV range. Could even be Singletary.
  12. I was to understand this as too many shots in too short a period of time.
  13. So because she wanted to have sex with people, she's out for financial gain...? Seems a bit of a stretch.
  14. I probably wouldn't draft one unless it was in the late stages of the draft. Pierce was a 4th, Allgeier was a 5th, Pacheco a 7th - and those are 3 of the 5 top running backs. The year before you had Stevenson who was a 4th, Mitchell a 6th, Herbert a 6th, Carter a 6th.
  15. Oh not at all, just that even though they missed on some round 2 targets, i think they got a good value in the 5th. I'd like a lineman in the 1st if possible. I think RT could be upgraded, and in the 2-4 range they probably need at least 1, maybe 2 interior linemen. Fix the run game, and keep your expensive QB investment healthy.
  16. Watson was intriguing to me, especially as Beane tends to draft traits. 6'5 with huge h ands and runs a sub 4.4 - and you can ease him in while working with Chad Hall and Diggs. Shakir where we got him is still a nice value, and i wouldn't give up on the player. I don't think he'll be the best in the class but he's a gamer.
  17. Always got a TJ Graham vibe from him. More fast than quick but even in preseason his ball tracking was suspect. Hines and Mckenzie negate any need from him as a returner, and Brown likely looked better on the practice field as a more realistic option. Crowder and Kumerow are the wildcards too. He either wasn't going to be activated by the time it was up, or he wasn't going to have a role on the team the remainder of the year. If he's healthy enough to play maybe he catches on somewhere like.. the NYG?!!!
  18. This isn't miami media. Its a fan.
  19. I tend to agree. I don't mind having athletes on the line like Brown, but he needs to improve his technique to be slotted in as a starter. What better way to force that than a new guy coming in trying to take his job?
  20. Depending on the class, you could be looking at like 8th WR pick though. I'm still open to BPA (with some limits - no TEs, no S's, no RBs, no QBs etc.)
  21. I'd like a backup QB somewhere in the later rounds sort of like what they did with Fromm. The only difference is I'd prefer it to be a guy who's more of a plus athlete. Helps the scout team planning for mobile QBs, and it makes the offense a bit more Allen like if Allen were to miss time.
  22. That and their 40-3 dismantling of Minnesota... in Minnesota.
  23. Their offensive line is not very good. They weren't a very good rushing team a year ago, and they're worse now with williams out and gordon fumbling off the roster. Playmakers are overrated or injured. Williams and Patrick are done for the year. Moved fant in the wilson trade. Hamler seems to always be hurt. Jeudy isn't good, Hinton isn't good, and Sutton is imo overrated. Makes some big catches, drops others, can't create consistent separation. They need to make some changes in the coaching staff for sure, but there is a LOT wrong with this team offensively. There isn't a single guy who's playing well.
  24. Taron Johnson is a good tackler, and can more effectively man-match with a TE than someone like Klein. Klein they brought in because the backups just weren't instinctively quick enough. Since we play a ton of cover 2/cover 4/Palms, its also largely a communication defense as people move who they are covering based on the offense look. The middle of the field is definitely the area you can most take advantage of, but you have edmunds and milano in there, and depending on leverage you might have a safety roll into a rat defender role.
