  1. I mean he literally quit on his team this year and was largely a complete malcontent before he was traded to baltimore. He seems to think he's antonio brown, but he's just not. 30+ WRs get drafted every year, and many barely play in year 1. Now there's another 30 coming in 2025, plus the ones from last year, players returning from injury... There's only like 96 "starting" wr jobs, and i'd imagine he's no longer in consideration for a starting spot with the majority of teams after this behavior. I know I'm personally not interested at all, let alone for league minimum compensation (which wouldn't qualify for comp pick anyway). Then factoring in what a "bench" WR is responsible for - he'd likely have to return punts and kicks again, or play special teams... i'm not sure he's better than a lot of other veterans in those roles. He hasn't returned a kick in 4 years, i doubt he'd sign up to play special teams or play well in that role. Johnson cannot suit up for baltimore the rest of the season.
  2. Considering the nationals rallied their WS winning season around Baby Shark... i don't really care what they pick.
  3. I mean if you go left, i always go to south park-milestrip-90 East to get back to Williamsville. You could do that to 90W, or probably just hang a left on south park and take it straight to hamburg no? I always say if you can't get there before 815ish, you may as well come after 9 because its a parking lot until lots open. so in this scenario at 630 make sure to try and get there between 1-2?
  4. Probably NSFW language: https://www.60secondclassics.com/#/top-gun-beach-volleyball/
  5. They just embraced how ***** erotic organized sports really is. It's easier to embrace it when you get older. 😉
  6. One thing i like is how we've had a full tilt turn from a softer passing team to a physical running team. They also add physicality to their passing game with Knox and Kincaid. No DB on the planet likes tackling these big dudes, so it goes a long way to softening them up as the game goes on.
  7. Inability to run and stop the run killed that cinci game. I also felt like frazier called a pretty poor game with a ton of zone stuff fearing getting beat over the top. I'd say the line upgrades from Saffold to Edwards, Morse to McGovern (morse was a solid pass protector, but never had a ton of juice as a run blocker), and Bates to Torrence are big. I also think Dorsey to Brady has been an upgrade from a playcalling perspective. We seem to have ways to scheme open in man and blitz packages, ty johnsons a better 3rd down back from a blocking side than anyone we had. On the defensive side of the ball - Rousseau and AJE are still here, but rousseau is not a rookie anymore. Poyer was not the same poyer in 2022 with the elbow, and marlowe/johnson are both currently unemployed. DQ didn't play. Phillips played with a shoulder injury that he had surgery on right after the season ended. Von didn't play. Edmunds is fine, but i find bernard has a better ability to create negative plays in run and pass game.
  8. I wear overalls and a hoodie. I usually stash my cigs in a hoodie pocket underneath (i don't smoke in the stadium, but its nice to be able to light one up on the walk to the car), but i imagine you can probably stash anything in there. I think Lamar gets down pretty well, but sometimes he's a little bit awkward with it. People say allen's strategy of running through people is more likely to induce injury but stopping/starting/changing direction while getting hit is usually when lower body injuries occur.
  9. The arm's there. They have a ton of talented playmakers which tends to make your season stat line look more robust. Offensive line was pretty poor down the stretch though. There were several sacks where i said last night to throw the damn ball. So its not just on the oline in this scenario either.
  10. Usually those are owned by season ticket holders. I would just look on secondary market if you are looking for club seats. The map should say which club if you are looking for the kelly club specifically.
  11. So we'll have 1, 2, 2, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6, 6, 6. They can add a ton to this team with even just the first 5 picks here. Special teams players might be on the table with that many picks. 1 - Our own 2 - Our own and the Vikings pick 56. 3 - No pick 4 - Our own pick, and the Bears pick that we got for moving a surplus pick in 2024 5 - No pick - 2 projected comp picks for net loss of davis and floyd. https://overthecap.com/compensatory-formula 6 - Our own pick, the 7/6 swap with the giants for boogie basham (probably like a jump from pick 250 to pick 180 actually so ), and a 6th from either the lions or the browns. 7 - No pick - swap with giants 6th Last season they sold a 5th for an extra 4th, i could see that being on the table again because 10 people is just a lot to add after free agency. WR, DE, DT, CB, S are needs. There are some cap crunch moves incoming like milano, miller, oliver, and knox on the table - contracts coming up for benford, bernard, cook, rousseau, and shakir. It's a pretty important draft to nail a few players that contribute on their rookie deals. I'd like to see a really talented defensive tackle, as i think it would make an immediate impact. Same with a good young corner.
  12. Yes he was late on the switch because of the motion into 4x1. But that doesn't really explain the effort after the catch.
  13. denver doesn't do much with tight ends or passing to backs, so it makes sense to roll with lewis on 3rd and longs imo.
  14. I'd like to see him come down with some of them, but if a ball came out on-time yesterday - i didn't really see it. Couple others looked uncatchable.
  15. Just means he isn't a free agent. Nothing screams guarantees in 2025. It's probably also pretty cheap.
  16. Wait, we're mad he took a pay cut now?
  17. Hurt him, but probably keep his price down a little bit on the negotiation 😉
  18. I feel like they have a few different looks than they had at the beginning of the year. They've messed around with a 3rd LB in early down looks. Getting back into deceptive cover 3/4/6 looks. Double a-gap pressure looks are still common, but they're blitzing a bit more to mix it up. This leads teams to counter with screens. Not afraid to play man coverage as they were in the past. Defensive line will need to play as well as they have all year for them to be as good as they potentially could be.
  19. Fewer TDs... in a worse offense...
  20. I didn't think TJ played as well this year tbh. Mixon over cook feels the most wrong. OL is always just a popularity contest after the clear "dudes". Corner is a tough spot. Stingley has been lights out, as has surtain. I'd feel wrong taking etiher off. Humphrey has 6 picks, and 2 forced fumbles - hard to ignore those numbers. I guess you could make the argument for denzel ward, but he's also still... very good.
  21. I assume Hollywood Brown will get a little run on offense just to get situated. But no mahomes. No kelce. No Worthy. No Humphrey. No Thuney. No smith. No Pacheco. Defense: no chris jones. Probably no mcduffie. I'd be shocked if Bolton played much. Same with Karlaftis. Backups have beaten teams in similar scenarios. I just see a denver team with a pretty good pass rush, a QB who is not good under pressure, and an offensive line that was struggling considerably before the move of Thuney to LT - who won't be playing. I think it'll be a blowout tbh. Even buffalo over miami a few years ago, we were playing for seeding and allen played the whole first half. Steelers buffalo is the big one that people call out. Willie parker drive in the 4th was the killer. Each team had a defensive score. There's was brutal as it put them up 9 in the 4th quarter. Buffalo moved the ball better in the 2nd half as Pitt rested starters. Lindell missed a 28 yard field goal on 4th and 1. Just a total wimp call by Mularkey. As much as you want to blame the defense in that one: Pitt had 15 first downs, 262 yards, 3 turnovers and scored 22 points.
  22. I'm in no hurry to move McGovern to another position. He's played really well this year, and has been an upgrade over morse in both skill and availability. If LG becomes an opening i assume they want to give anderson the first crack at it, maybe add a rookie - and then you have 2 depth swing tackles who would probably be open to a position switch for playing time. Agreed. If he can become an impact player on his rookie deal it makes the need to spend/draft DE a lot less of a massive priority. Figure Miller and Smoot are gone - AJE makes plays but he hasn't improved as an edge setter on early downs. I think they could probably do to upgrade interior as well. DQ hasn't played well this year, and no one behind him at 1T has been particularly impressive.
  23. I think thats why the team's blitzing more on 3rd downs. At the same time, they get turnovers. Turnovers come from mistakes, and mistakes are more likely to happen when you're forced to run more plays.
  24. Spector is an absolute liability, but the gap between LBs and corners in the zone aren't being read properly or quickly enough to close that first window. That's been a problem regardless of who is starting at LB. It's a communication issue and having multiple people rotating in is not helping with continuity. They tackled better in the 2nd half, spector's inability to challenge the pass catcher OR tackle him was just brutal in the 1st quarter. Need a 3rd down? Throw it near that guy.
  25. They put him in man plenty, and he got caught on 2 DPIs - neither particularly egregious but.. his supposed strength wasn't really on display. The team has begun to blitz more, which i think is probably going to be used in the playoffs some, especially on money downs. Man coverages are somewhat required in a lot of those blitzes. We've let teams carve up the zone in the playoffs and it has bit us before. I think having some blitzes is important after what we've seen from the frazier d, and then mcdermotts mash unit last year. At the same time, you also aren't among the league takeaway leaders unless you force them to march the field and not make mistakes. As for Elam - he tackles pretty well, and he's athletic, but he still struggles to read the play to the point that you break up a well thrown ball. He's always in the area so it's just that last piece of his game that separates a good starter, from a backup.
