  1. Yeah, i don't think he was on the injury report for a game though.
  2. Diggs Davis Shakir Mckenzie. Mckenzie is cheap - i'd carry him to camp. I'd like to see a rookie and a vet. I'm not opposed to a WR in the first, i just don't know what's there and i don't know that there is value where we pick. WR free agents are super limited. I'd take a flier on robert woods, i don't think he'll be super expensive and i think this offense might be a good place for him (doesn't need to take a huge snap load, can play some in the slot, etc).
  3. He didn't get a DUI and he wasn't in an accident. The car he was racing was in an accident, and they were far over the legal limit. You don't have a toxicology report so you can't charge him with a DUI, and stretching it to anything beyond reckless driving is challenging since you know the other driver was inebriated and driving recklessly.
  4. It was 17-10 in the 3rd quarter. Buffalo needed to score on the 2 minute drill before the half to put some pressure on. They failed. They needed 7 coming out of the half. They got 3. If they scored on both of those drives its 21-17, or tied etc. The defense gives up 7. 24-10 - we 3 and out with 2 deep passes.
  5. Literally everyone was hurt at some point in time last year outside Taron Johnson.
  6. The entire unit had injuries like all year. It's hard to say what was or wasn't built by beane with the amount of injuries. Obviously Miller and Jones missed the 2nd playoff game. Damar Hamlin. Hyde missed most of the year. Poyer was injured basically the entire season. Phillips missed time with hamstring/shoulder and was generally banged up. Groot missed time. Oliver missed time. Epenesa missed a game. Basham missed a game. Settle missed time. Eli Ankou was on IR. Edmunds and Milano missed time. White missed camp and half the season. Benford missed time. Elam missed time. Jackson missed time.
  7. I remember bruce absolutely crushing boomer - on a late whistle for a penalty. Thats one of my earliest football memories i still have and i loved bruce because of it.
  8. I thought Daquan jones was really disruptive. Rousseau isn't flashy but he's a solid defensive end, i felt like he wasn't the same after he returned from his injury. Oliver is a good-not-great defensive tackle, motor and quickness help with being undersized but I personally wouldn't commit to him long-term. Phillips was playing really well, then he hurt his shoulder. As for the ends - Basham is the biggest disappointment as he basically lost his job to lawson. Epenesa isn't very good as a run defender so that will always limit his usage.
  9. Hasek or OJ. I went Hasek because... he was so stunningly good, and i actually got to watch him play.
  10. Moss was in the 3rd, Epenesa in the 2nd, and Fromm in the 5th. I don't mind drafting a running back... if they dress they usually play some snaps so you're always getting someone who contributes on game day. At the same time, i would want to draft a lineman in every single draft. They drafted Davis in the 4th, who is among the best WRs on the board in round 3, they also traded a 1st in that draft for Diggs and drafted Hodgins in the 6th. So I'd say they nailed WR in 2020. This from a team already having Brown and Bease. Fromm was a dumb pick, and now easy to say - a bad pick. Bernard played 110 snaps... lets not crucify the guy just yet. There is a lot to like about him as a player.
  11. Plus thats just his base salary, which could be adjusted - if it were me id add a year, move some bonus money around and get the cap hit lower for this year so you can address the offensive line more effectively. 10.5. Tennessee eats signing and restructure bonuses. They already paid him the signing and restructure bonuses, so it jumps up into this year of the cap giving them a ~10M dead money hit.
  12. 10.5M for a 1year rental - can add a year, lower the cap hit. He's 29, no ones giving him a long-term deal at this point.
  13. Why are we losing white and diggs? Don't need to be 13-3 to qualify for the super bowl. Punch a ticket, play your best ball in the playoffs wherever that might be.
  14. Only reason i'm opposed to a running back is that cook looked pretty good last year in the time he got, and they can find carries in free agency pretty cheap. Everyone talks about breece hall as this future star, and cook has the exact same numbers.
  15. I'd need to see him play in the new non-roman offense to determine where he fits.
  16. Only way this works is if you add a void year to lower the cap - then it truly is a 1 year deal. More likely a 2 with a void year afterwards.
  17. So you flipped the WR room - but 3 play - that doesn't leave a lot of playing time for davis, rookie, shakir.
  18. I don't love him - but no comp pick makes it a bit appetizing tbh.
  19. I'll go brandin cooks. Not a huge dude, but still a fantastic deep threat - only 29 even though he's been around forever. He's better than any of the free agents, and can play inside and out. Probably not gonna cost too much trade wise either.
  20. I think the goal is to bring in a vet who can compete with him for snaps. Be it Agholor, Jones, Slayton etc. Also options for trade like Cooks. I'd also like to see someone drafted in the mid-round area like a Tillman or Mingo. Get some serious size and athleticism on the outside, and can bring them along slowly. Diggs - Vet - Davis - Rook Slot - Shakir, Mckenzie (im ok with moving on from him but he's under contract, cheap, knows the offense)
  21. I mean... You fancy yourself a super bowl contender in 2020. 1st round - you get a QB despite having rodgers. Aiyuk went 1 pick beforehand - but this was a LOADED WR draft. Higgins and Pittman were the next 2 off the board. Has to be somewhat frustrating to see your team use a premium pick on your replacement. 2nd round - You draft Dillon.. Despite having a feature back in Jones, and a power back in jamaal williams. Dillons a pretty good player, but why? Some solid linebackers and offensive linemen who they could have had. It's like you're drafting to piss off your starters. The only issue i see is... you drafted him in 2020. You burned through 3 years of rookie contract. You already have to extend him basically.
