Yes, I'm being spiteful.
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to bobobonators's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was never high on them because I don't think Bradley is a good coach. Also not high on bortles - he has his best statistical games when they lose. He also stares down receivers a bit and tends to just try and do it all with his arm. Stafford was the same way and turned out OK, so he certainly could improve. -
Clickbait. Like everything else on ESPN. If you listen to the press conference... it was not like a big boasting statement. It was like a sarcastic aside. As in - i have answered 10 questions about the game we just played. I have nothing to say about the game I haven't thought about.

Rex's "antiquated" Defense
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to Maury Ballstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Heard rex say in his presser that "Dennis called a good game"... Sounds like he may not be calling the whole game on defense anymore, and trying to take a more active role with the whole game. Probably a smart move with a new OC who's calling from the booth. He's gotta take the temperature of Tyrod, and communicate what he's seeing on the sideline to both coordinators. -
Guess Schwartz's next home

I think jag's could be after him - assuming the success continues. -
A couple glaring mistakes (TT getting blindsided on a play action... with no one blocking 2 coming from the left side). But for the most part held up well. Zona's defenders got caught way up field a couple of times, and TT made them pay. NE will probaby not do the same thing. They're likely going to sit in that cover 2 shell and ask TT to beat us with his arm --- hopefully the game plan actually has plays designed to do that. Mostly Screens, trips formations, and swing passes. If they want to spread their D all over the field, overload that side with blockers and levels routes.

Lower Bowl - Security Asked Us to Sit Down
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to jimmy10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I stand for the following: Touchdowns. Third downs on defense. Sometimes a whole drive on defense, but usually only if everyone else is doing it. Thats pretty much it. Sometimes i like to be able to watch the game, and eat food/not spill beer everywhere. Someone did heckle a cardinals fan who was standing like the whole game. -
Its only 3 games
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I honestly thought Tyrod played pretty good. Powell had a drop on a slant, and also ran another one short of the sticks... The sideline misses were as much on the receivers as Tyrod. I'd like to see more out of the passing game, but we were winning start to finish. Why start passing in the 4th quarter when ur up two scores? Also, why throw the ball when you have the worst wr corps in the nfl (injury related), when you can run the ball with success? They didn't do a great job with passing calls or execution -
I still think the cardinals are a very good team. The best 2 nfc records are philly and Minnesota. Last year Atlanta started out 5-0, pretty good chance one or both still fades to obscurity.

4th & Goal From The 1. TD Or FG?
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to Peace Frog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like to go for the rd, never know if Ull get that close again -
I don't think tt played great. But there were some drops, and some messed up broken blocking plays... The option play was a mess and we lucked out, but u shouldn't be getting hit for a 6 yards behind the line on an option, someone missed their assignment. A 20 yard ts scamper when we struggle in the red zone? Yes please!

The key to a shotgun read option is being able to read the right guy. If you can't get lined up quick and motion the tight end/receivers - you end up with a free backer containing TT every time. He has to hand off there. Like if I'm suppose to read the linebacker, tt can motion clay over to block that guy, or shift the blocking to adjust. That way the defense is questioning more whether its a hand off or keeper or pass play.

I voted Bill. As durable as Brady has been, its still not something you can control. Coaches tend to not get injured.

As much as I'd agree we need a QB... If you can't get the one you want, don't reach for one. It's EJ all over again - drafting something because we need it. We already have a project in cardale, and a mediocre starter. We upgrade the defense and we could possibly be in business. We can't get rid of shady til 2018, and we have watkins. I'd say focus on upgrading pieces around TT, and upgrading some players on defense. Watching NE play with backup QBs makes you realize how important coaching is - and how a great defense can mask a limited offense.

New "Simplified Offense"
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to DirtDart's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Tyrod at least has legs and a deep ball. Brock has a really slow release, and poor decision making. Gave him a big deal too. Maybe he'll get better...? -
Fire This @#$!%
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to quinnearlysghost88's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They'd be stupid to fire fox. That team doesn't have a ton of talent, and cutler stinks. Give the guy a chance! -
New "Simplified Offense"

We were 9/20 on 3rd down and 2/2 on 4th down in that week 17 jets game. We also had 3 drives in that game that were 12 or more plays. And the only guy gaining yards on the ground was TT. What changed from that gameplan?
