OK, let's do this: Tyrod Taylor

And they most likely won't trade him within the division. There will be multiple suitors, so our offer has to be so much better. -

Wentz hasn't been very good TBH. We're probably around the same. Maybe worse. -

The problem is if we don't pick it up - he's not gonna sniff us. We're left with rookies/projects/and the rest of the leagues trash. For every dak, there's an osweiler deal, everything going on in cleveland, etc. Even the 1/2 overall picks haven't really put up much. -

Aren't they scoring more than a good portion of the rest of the NFL? 2016/17 have large base salaries, which we wouldn't pay if we traded him. The rest is an option bonus - which we pick up for next year and split over 4 years, and the remainder of his signing bonus. We would have to pay both years of base salary if we cut him though - so that wouldn't happen. -

I'd put him ahead of cleveland QB 1-3, Bears QBs, Rams QBs, Philly, NYJ, jax, 49ers, and Houston. and in line with baltimore, Arizona, minnesota, miami, denver. -

His contract is confusing TBH - so its hard to project out the actual damage. But we wouldn't be responsible for his base salaries if we traded him afaik. So i THINK it would just be the 15.5 option bonus and a couple million of the signing bonus - that we could split over 2 years. So i guess the trade would have to be for something more than pennies for us to consider it. Still less than his cap hit over the next 2 years with him on the roster - so still lowers the cap cost. -

Somewhere in the middle. Not the best - not the worst. -

I hang onto him - still draft someone - and if the new guy can take the job, look to trade him. There'll be something of a market, and the dead cap number probably won't kill us. Sort of like what Philly did, but probably not spending 2 1sts, and not expecting nearly a 1st for Tyrod. Can a cutler or hoyer be as good? Maybe if they could stay healthy - which neither has done in like 5 years. But if we're just going to hope a rookie is better, why not just keep the known commodity and push him. -

i was pissed he missed - but kind of happy... at least he threw the ball and made the correct read. At that point he had done nothing but get sacked like 4 times. -
The Whole in our team no one notices.

I think he did the same thing he did with OLB and ILB and added a couple low priced free agents (blanton and anderson), and both are on IR. Neither were that good to begin with - but he hit on z brown and lorax with the same strategy. Remembering that we had Glenn tagged - we had like 0 cap room at the start of free agency until we extended him. We had to re-structure Clay and Kyle too. It wasn't exactly pick of the litter at the time we actually got some room so its pretty surprising that we have some really solid contributors. -
Stadium Experience 11/27 Jags Game
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to plenzmd1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've been to a few games so far this year. No issues with drunks or fans of any kind. My wife and her family are patriots fans, and no one gave them any problems during that one either. My biggest issue was with the service. Obviously people want to get beer at the end of the half - and they cut people off at kickoff. I had my last drink at like noon-ish when i was walking into the stadium, and ordered a coffee. They charged me for a coffee, then told me it would take 30 minutes to make coffee. They then told me I couldn't get my money back - so I ended up with a hot chocolate. How hard would it be to get a Keurig back there? With what you are charging?! God forbid I want a hot beverage to help me sober up (and warm up). Maybe i'll bring some starbucks instant packets for the Xmas Eve game and just order some hot water. -
Why is Rex still lost on defense?

The dolphins have wins over cleveland, NYJ, chargers, Rams, and Niners... and needed OT, a KR TD, an INT TD, 2 TDs in the last 4 minutes, and a goalline stop in the 4th quarter to win those games. Against 3 of the worst teams in the league, and 2 mediocre teams. Throw us in there as another mediocre team they beat. Should their stats be discounted too? -
My issues with him are body control on the sidelines, he doesn't get the ball at its highest point, he is slow off the line, slow out of press coverage. His biggest asset is speed, but he struggles with finding the ball. I can't tell if he doesn't know how to extend for the ball, or if he's slowing down to try and run under it? He has straight line speed, but he isn't particularly quick or nimble in the open field.
-
Do you have to catch the ball/make a play for them to record your speed? Or has goodwin lost a step??

Considering i get like 50 extra phone calls during polling season, and ignore every one. I'd have to say it can't be THAT effective. -

Fair enough. But either way - for some reason their deep statistical analysis lists us as a top 10 football team. -
https://twitter.com/FiveThirtyEight/status/803302188093161472/photo/1 Not sure what this means - but it looks like they have us as the 9th best team in the league - and higher super bowl odds than 21 other teams. They also thought Hillary wins in a landslide - so who knows.

Well its hard to do well in both when you have the fewest passing attempts. The one thing i'd wonder about having a non-mobile QB, is how effective our running game would be without his speed element. The options/read-options/zone-reads all get thrown out. Will we still be near the top of the league? -
Passing Game Coordinator?
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I just see no attempt at quick timing routes. By Tyrod. By anyone. No Screens. No bunch formations. It's all so bleah. Watching Brady hit his first read for 5 yards, and then seeing them get a couple yards after frustrates me. -
3 3rd downs had me yelling. The o-line in the first half had me just like... defeated. And I yelled at mccoy a couple times to you know... run forward occasionally.
-
I don't have a huge problem with missing the o'leary one. You aren't going to throw perfect passes every time, Brady was missing everything down field during the Pats-Jets. It certainly happens. It just happens too often with Tyrod.
