  1. We're at best a wildcard team as long as brady is starting. I say spin the wheels for a couple years.... I wouldn't bottom out yet because you could be on the bottom for like 5 or 6 years. We're more than 1 player away from being a division contender.
  2. Not quite a blake bortles windup - but it seems to take a while to get the ball out. I feel like they're bumping receivers to throw off his timing too.
  3. Not sure what it is - but he hasn't been generating much pressure. I assume if they are cutting back his snaps, then he's either making mistakes/missing assignments, or dealing with an injury or something.
  4. I think its far too late. We could've traded for him after the first 2 or 3 years, and failed to pony up the 3rd or so that they watned. He's either franchised or locked up.... either way - not our problem.
  5. So... pretty good. All things considered for them as a whole though. They dumped maxwell, murray, and bradfords contracts. Moved up to get Wentz. Got the extra pick back from the bradford deal. They're set up nicely moving forward if Wentz develops. So far - he looks fairly mediocre.
  6. Our AFC record cleans itself a bit if we win out. Our last 4 are all AFC games. Everyone else loses some AFC games as well so it evens out.
  7. I don't either - but i could see why people might. The Steelers have 3 road wins this year. 2 were against cleveland and the luck-less colts. The other was week 1. The 3 losses on the road - a smacking by philly 34-3, 200+ by ajayi and the dolphins, and a 21-14 loss to Baltimore. At one point this year they lost 4 straight. In 4 of their 5 losses - they scored 16 or fewer points. Also - the weather report for OP looks cold, with chance of snow/sleet/rain. This can affect precision on passing. Again - i don't think we will win, but we certainly could win.
  8. Chan's probably going to get fired this year too - even if they keep Bowles.
  9. If either team were in our division, I believe they would have had similar success. It's very difficult to make the playoffs when the pats win the division every year.
  10. Nothing worked on defense. I'd have played more man tbh... no finger pointing when ur man just beats you
  11. Can someone bench gailey while they're at it?
  12. Every time i watched him play he didn't look very good.
  13. I say we keep spinning the wheels for a couple years until brady is closer to retirement. So I say keep him. Then we can go ahead and bottom out and tank. Gotta time it right.
  14. If we cover like we did against Oakland, we will not beat the steelers. We probably give up 40 honestly. Even to Ben on the road, with lousy weather.
  15. I just look at our team and think we're built to follow a certain blue print that a few other teams in the league adhere to. They play field position, don't turn it over, and score enough. But all of those teams play really really good defensively. We don't. KC, DEN, and SEA can play mediocre offense, and win or be in all their games. They rarely get blown out or run off the field. They put themselves in makeable 3rd downs, and stop other teams on 3rd downs. They capitalize on mistakes. We don't do any of these things. Until we have a top 5 defense, we will never be good with this QB or offensive philosophy.
  16. It was a team effort... everyone failed from that point on in the game. Couldnt run, couldnt pass, couldn't catch, couldn't rush the passer, couldn't cover anyone, couldn't coach.
  17. I'm fine with getting rid of him - but we'll probably be worse. If we're tanking for picks i guess go for it. Keep rex too, no one will want the job and he's already getting paid anyway.
  18. They had just scored - we needed to keep them on their heels. We did this well in the 1st half by passing. I know TT was off, but part of why he was doing well in the 1st half was because we kept attacking them on 1st downs. Instead we completely show our hand and line up wildcat/pistol. We never do well passing in pistol, and he's barely on the field in a wildcat situation. I know you want to put the ball in your best players hands... but if they know you're handing it to McCoy pre-snap, it becomes a lot easier to stop him.
  19. Are you still going to go to the games when the team is 3-13 for at least 3 years? What about if theyre 3-13 for 5 years? What if they don't win any games... Will you all still go? We sucked under Gailey - and added legit no talent. We have a decent GM, but not a good one. We have a mediocre coach but not a good one. Coaching matters more in this sport than in any other. The best coaches already have jobs.
  20. They also won 11 games in from 2012-2015. It's a painful process to rebuild. It involves a pretty much empty stadium.
  21. On the INT - he was attempting to go low risk by throwing it up for goodwin in 1x1 coverage. That was one of my few like non-gripes in the 2nd half. Obviously the results were bad, but if its complete its probably a TD.
  22. Schwartz's defense can't get to the QB either.
  23. Every play to our injured wr.. good idea.
  24. How many rushing yards on those 4 drives? It was a team effort. And the team sucked.
