I felt like the M&T club was very business like as well. I also hated that you couldn't open a window in there. It was a very sterile environment to watch a football game. Like... i was a little tipsy so at the time - a couple slices of ribeye was amazing. But then the game started and we blew out Tennessee and it was just... not totally right in there. Too many people didn't care about what was going on. My company did an event for bills-KC in KC - and they combined the ticketing process with a sponsored tailgate event. Get the business crap out of the way and then go into the game.

Eh - while there wasn't really a bad seat in the building... The bathroom situation was terrible in many sections. Concessions were slow and obnoxiously inefficient. There were too many seats for a market the size of buffalo. Also - it was like 90% metal bleachers. It's really hard to navigate to certain seats. Have to find the right stairwells to get places. Club entrances were all over the place and confusing Good luck if you're even remotely disabled or handicapped The space around the stadium isn't properly used, its just a big loop of pavement. They host the wing fest event there (and likely are looking to add others in the future), and its just not built for that type of event. A larger actual... event space outside the stadium can make attending these types of events easier logistically.

So founders club is likely businesses. The other two will get scooped up by other businesses, wealthier fans, and ticket brokers. The main points around club seats and PSLs though? That revenue is NOT shared with the opponent. PSL money goes straight to the bottom line, and every club seat has a ticket fee (that is shared) and a club fee (that is not). We were lagging behind probably every other team in the league in ticket revenue.

Friend brought me to the M&T club as a "client" for the ad agency he worked at. Food/booze is included and served the entire game - and it was fancy. Carved Ribeye steak. Risotto. Shrimp. Stone crab claws. Open bar with top shelf cocktails. A sundae bar etc.

Injuries suck, and there is a fair amount of risk associated with the player - but 2x All-pro players under 30 are usually worth taking a shot at. The rams were basically starting late round rookies across the board last season though, so they're looking to add talent.

My only concern is that he had like... 1 play greater than 20 yards all season.

I think this was basically all the.. club... platinum. Whatever they want to call them. Close seats and club seats.

I think we all knew PSL's were going to be a part of this. They're giving you the right to buy your seat, if you don't want it, they'll give other people the right to buy it. Other STH's and waitlist people are given a chance to upgrade for a cost - and PSL money doesn't get touched by the league or that 38% that the opponent gets. You're still given the first right of purchasing it. If we didn't get PSLs? They would likely struggle with the P&L and their loan payments for the stadium. Probably head back in the direction of a cash to cap type team or they'd likely be operating in the red for a few years. Then you task people with saving you money, so you pay less for... training staff, coaches, scouts, literally anything that isn't touched by a cap. Yes TP could probably offset it by cashing out - but that isn't really how the NFL works. As for financing? Inflation has been pretty bad in recent years so... interest rates are high. Easy example - If you borrow 100 dollars today and pay me 110 dollars in 10 years. In 10 years 110 dollars will be worth considerably less in tangible value than the initial 100 i loaned you. That (plus the obvious - im supposed to make money by lending money) indicates you need a considerably higher interest rate.

I think the only offers he's getting are 1 year prove it deals.

He was top-10 in yards per reception in all 4 years here which is usually a sign that he was used in a downfield role. I'd say his ability to work the downfield sidelines is a very good trait. He never developed into a jump ball contested catch guy, but his sideline backshoulder moves were good. 33 TDs in 4 seasons is nothing to sniff at, and he wasn't a major red zone threat in that time frame.

This is just going to lead to more gator rolling.

I'm for it - i'd rather have 3 picks in the first 3 rounds, and 2 in the 4th.

I think i was more shocked that they didnt look at cutler. He just looked like a better prospect than Losman.

I think with the contract, and just... his performance last year and coming off the rehab etc. I just think he doesn't want it to end that way?

Their run game was absolutely gashing us. Part of why i thought the TD to shakir would have been the difference. I didn't see them having as much offensive success without being able to keep us honest there.

I'll say this - we lost to the Chiefs in the playoffs last season because they beat us at the LOS on both sides of the ball.

I'll admit i've never heard of him. Back of the roster dude it seems like. The pass rush is going to really depend on if Von has literally anything left in the tank at this point.

Oh i meant after 2025 season so the 2026 offseason. These are always estimates just because of all the different bonus structures and whatnot. To move him in 2024 - 4.3M signing bonus prorated over 3 years - 12.9M 3.2M option bonus prorated over 4 years - 12.8M 1.35M Restructure bonus prorated over 4 years - 5.4M 18.5M Base Salary (This piece would be traded) - 18.5M So i see it as 31.1M dead cap total if traded vs. a 27.8M cap hit if kept. If traded as a Post June 1st - you can move it across 2 years. Spotrac has it as 8.8M dead in 2024 and 22.2M dead in 2025 so 19M in savings. I'm just not sure how that would actually help our team.

I always looked at Diggs deal as most likely a cut/paycut in 2025.

I don't think we're there yet - but i do think it could be a plan down the line in a year or two for johnson to move into that type or role. With Neal out, i do think its something they draft in that 4-5 round range in this years draft though.

I think Shakir will end up on the boundary some. I know brady likes to utilize bunch formations quite a bit. I hope he looks into ways to use motion to both block and identify and create mismatches. Things I'd like to see - Kincaid on the LOS in those bunch formations - Diggs iso on the other side Kincaid off the LOS in motion - Wham blocks in the run game. Shakir as a boundary player. Samuel in the backfield. Move the dude around some. Cook as a WR in a spread formation with diggs also in the slot. Attacking the middle of the field in cover 2 with 2 TE sets. Running from under center to add some improved play action elements to the offense.

I voted trade down, no 3rd round picks and you can probably still get a great player if you get the right one in the 2nd. I don't think more than 2-3 go off the board in that window. It does depend on how far down though, and whether there are a few players they have similar grades on.

UDFAs and Late draft picks are usually a little cheaper than a UFA. However... Buffalo is in that contender status where you just figure out the dollars and put the best guys on the roster.
