  1. There was, but Ref's calling the game well is out of your team's control. I think Mills even HOLDING avril there is a better outcome.
  2. I put that on mills. He gave up a horrible sack on 3rd and goal from the 7 to push it to 4th and goal from the 15. TT was hit pretty much at the point of his drop.
  3. They didn't want to bring back TT at the original contract, so they searched out alternate options. Tyrod said he wouldn't take a pay-cut, then he did. So essentially it seems they called his bluff.
  4. Got a better option for 2017?
  5. All true I guess - but the haters want us to draft someone and just assume he'll be better. They wanted to cut TT, and sign a Hoyer or Cutler, and groom our new guy. Some refuse to even admit that taking him back on the paycut is probably whats best for business to be competitive for 2017. Or they want us to tank for the 2018 draft... even though the browns and niners seem to pretty much have the top 2 locked up. Or worse than both, they are all criticism and no solutions. Which is a lot like the buffalo media, who's opinion is that everyone stinks, but refuse to suggest a better option.
  6. sure - but most offensive coordinators don't take 30 seconds to get a play call in which allows the o-line to set protection, as well as get a pre-snap coverage read.
  7. All i did was say that the Baltimore game was a complete offensive let-down. He didn't prop them up. But the line didn't help, McCoy had a bad game rushing (and in pass protection)... It is a team game after all.
  8. Great QBs will have bad games when the guys up front do a poor job. Mediocre qbs will have really bad games when the guys up front do a poor job. They also only had 60 yards rushing... It wasn't all on him.
  9. We had a lot of protection issues in week 1. It was another of the classic greg roman games, struggling to line up let alone setting protection games. http://www.cover1.net/2016/09/plenty-of-blame/
  10. They used an extensive analytics department in the assembly of their roster, before and after Theo. Now it's hard to get ahead in the same way. They spent a ton on scouting non American players, and missed as much as they hit. Moneyball worked because billy beane had 3 deep beast starting pitching, and tejada/Chavez. He had a good team already so it was easy to look at unique ways to fill some holes. The browns have the worst team in the league, and with football it all comes down to qbs. They will be the worst team again and get their qb next year.
  11. When we had brad smith I said he should be holding fgs, as well as punting in the no mans land situations. Why not drop kick too?
  12. Yeah - that should have been called for unnecessary roughness. Its no different than a crack block on a return
  13. Yeah - remember phantom PI on nickel robey? that cost us a game because the guy tripped over his own feet. There needs to be some sense of accountability on that... We're down 6 against seattle because of whatever happened at the end of that half against seattle. If we get to keep the FG, we can kick the chip shot on 4th down and probably lose in OT.
  14. No but - you should eject the guy. It should cost more than a game check too. Maybe a percentage of total compensation for the year? or game check? Whichever is higher. And similar to hockey, you have a group look at the hit and decide if further suspension is warranted.
  15. Why can't koundjo play RT?
  16. Still better than goodwin's 42.6% last season... with a horrible limited route tree, bad ball skills, and lousy footwork.
  17. He never shouldve been drafted when he was. It was a bush league russ brandon "splash" move to sell tickets... Now all of those people have been fired except for the owner who probably made the call.
  18. Cutlers a poison. Let Cleveland sign him and be done with it
  19. A few reasons i can think of off the top of my head. 1 - he wants a ring.. he aint getting it here. He could go to NE, or GB or something and possibly get a ring. 2 - he'd want guaranteed money... we don't need to spend more money on backs we may or may not keep. 3 - I don't think he'd be much better than gillislee for a higher cap hit 4 - we have spent a ton of money on RBs already and don't need him.
  20. Most annoying series... TD - replay - commercial - play upheld - XP - commercial - kickoff - commercial literally 0 seconds of clock time and like 8 minutes of commercials
  21. I disagree that teams "figured out" RG3, his knee injury has sapped his mobility and ruined his mechanics. He looks slow and doesn't have the same zip that he used to have. He also doesn't have the pocket presence needed to function without his mobility. Kaep still has a cannon, and the speed, but is woefully inaccurate. He'll make some plays with his legs, and help out your ground game with read option.. but it's very hard to trust him to throw accurate passes - especially deep. For this reason, he's figured out because you can just stack the box against him and dare him to throw a deep ball.
  22. You don't have to go to the website - he embedded the video. Is that not ok either?
  23. so... what is the preferred way to share original content...?
  24. Zo's probably playing sam on run downs, not sure his role in a nickel? Maybe an extra rusher, or spelling the other ends? Either way - I think we need another pass rusher in this draft at some point. Looks like preston is penciled in as the will for now... which isn't great and the depth at LB is pretty poor right now. Good depth LBs can be found later in the draft. As for Corners, we don't have enough so its a draft priority. I know theyd like to use poyer and hyde with a 3rd safety in nickel situations. I think Byrd should be a target here for the center field role in a cover 3 (he's a cap casualty as well so it won't affect a comp pick formula). WR2 is a huge priority. I think the depth guys they brought in are actually stronger than our options previously, and brown seems like a decent fit in the slot. The problem is a genuine starter across from Sammy, and I don't think he's on the roster. This should be a priority in the first couple rounds. Lot of holes - and I'd still love to see a QB in the first 2 picks.
  25. I don't think any other team has a fan with this level of dedicated coverage for their team. I personally find it to be a relatively unbiased look at what worked/didn't work, as well as interesting looks at some big plays that Bills player's make. During the season I also enjoy reading the scouting reports of the opponents for that week. If you don't want him to post links to his website to the board, he will probably just not post to the board. Myself and many other's will still navigate to his page for content, and we lose a TBDer who is is more rational and unbiased than many of the other posters here.
