  1. I believe you can also cut them and bring them back after week 1 on a new deal. You eat the dead money (split over 2 years), but davis and ducasse are negligible dead money anyway.
  2. Maybe it's just me... but I'm kind of sick of the back and forth on Tyrod. It really doesn't matter too much what he was before, or "may" learn or "won't" learn. We're going to find out in what - a month? Just watch the show and we'll know. The debate has merits on both sides, and I'm pretty sure we've heard every argument imaginable. He doesn't throw with anticipation, he holds the ball, doesn't throw over the middle, doesn't hit receivers in stride or whatever. He also makes plays out of nothing, has a good arm, floats some nice deep passes, and has deep value as a runner and decoy in the option game. If he doesn't become the guy - we move on. If he does, hopefully we still draft someone. In the end, he's starting this year and is by far the best option available... so what are we arguing about?
  3. right - its being perceived as though he's getting in their face like kirk cousins "YOU LIKE THAT?!" Per Joe B (who was actually there) http://www.wkbw.com/sports/bills/joe-b-7-buffalo-bills-camp-observations-day-10-8717 As he ran past reporters, he yelled, “Write about that!” Now, let’s get something straight, I don’t think you should be overly concerned about Taylor interacting with the media after a drive. I think it was more just a product of him being a little bit looser at practice and having fun with it, not in a malicious, taunting type of way. It was all a positive for the Bills to see Taylor operating with full confidence in the offense, and the results were the best they’ve seen yet.
  4. I think he was joking when he said it...
  5. But... that doesn't fit the narrative of the hot takes everyone is putting out there!
  6. He's towing the company line - deflect anything about this.
  7. Yeah - hes a unique slot guy. He's not super quick or fast by any means either. Just spaces the defense really well, and has enough juice out of his break to get open for a quick 5-10. Also large, so a load to take down and a red zone target. Really good hands too
  8. 31st in the league... i guess we could be a little worse. Yeah - its tough to speculate his loss without seeing how Jwilliams looks. Gillislee wasn't exactly lighting up the league before he came here, so i feel like you have to put it at least up in the air. I don't really like that Tolbert is being featured more than we expected, but hey... he's cheap, a good locker room guy, has good hands, is quicker than he looks, and has had some success in the past.
  9. Kind of a word wall... I think RB may be a push.. Depends on how dimarco is used vs. Felton. Gillislee is a pretty significant loss though and it was too late to really get a top-end replacement. WRs are probably... a bit better especially with Boldin in the fold and watkins second surgery going better than the first (knock on wood) Corners are worse - safeties are probably better considering williams was tentative, then hurt, and graham just wasn't good enough. D-line playing more towards their strengths, Shaq seemingly healthy, dareus more focused. Could be good there. LBs seem better from a depth perspective, but not super strong in the starting lineup. Z brown was a tad overrated in my opinion, but Humber is still a lineup downgrade IMO.
  10. The only way it works for me is holmes davis and ducasse. The dead money for the other 4 is too high.
  11. I think ryan davis too. I don't think zach brown was signed during the window. Any of these guys can be brought back though. After final roster cut downs I wouldnt be surprised if theres a better option than ryan davis anyway.
  12. Pretty much... watch miami tape with landry too. Move him around - throw him quick passes if they line up off him. His speed and strength make it hard to bump him at the line without basically shading a safety to play over the top. If they're bumping, then its likely that there will be space. Unfortunately it's probably in the middle of the field
  13. I think big ben was hurt in that game they lost to Miami too, but i might be mistaken. Their defense looks thinner than ours too... In some ways we're a lot like Miami.
  14. Jarvis Landry, Devante Parker, Kenny Stills, Julius Thomas, Jay Ajayi... Decent line when everyone is healthy. Tannehill isn't good imo... he's been given a ton of weapons and proved he is nothing but mediocre.
  15. Kaepernick has the same limitation as Tyrod, and struggles with Rhythm passing and anticipation. Gase likes to throw tons of short passes
  16. yeah - we were really nasty in the red zone actually. Those option runs are tough to deal with
  17. Complete opposites in Rex and greggo and yet both teams were unprepared and undisciplined
  18. still miffed about that call on NRC. didnt tangle his feet, didnt even TOUCH him.
  19. Both of my brothers lived there for years. My one lived mostly in Manhattan, and my other one lived in bay ridge brooklyn. Smartphone apps make taking the trains super easy for tourists/new people FWIW.
  20. Looking objectively - 4 super bowls (losses), but 21st all time in wins. He's on that border of in.
  21. 2 league MVPs and 3 super bowl apperances and a super bowl MVP all after beginning his career at age 28 should be the evaluation. Not his "story"
  22. Yeah - he won't be a first ballot guy without an MVP or all-pro appearance. 200 straight games and counting though is pretty cool.
  23. Baseballs only tricky because the old timers actually played significantly longer than they do now. So like the 300 win threshold is sooo much tougher for pitchers now. And 3000 hits is just a gauntlet
  24. They like to reward longevity for sure. Need to hit certain milestones.
  25. Agreed - im just saying there's a reason he's not a no-doubt first ballot guy
