  1. And now its on a channel i don't even have.
  2. Cord cutting. I don't have ESPN in my Fios package. I don't know that I would watch it anyway after a day of football though.
  3. Yes - but you'll never make that call on the field because in actual game speed it doesn't look like he "lost control". It'll only ever get called if the ruling on the field is a TD - and then its a huge reversal.
  4. The jets one bothered me. He didn't even really fumble - the ball never touched the ground... it never advanced... brady can poke the ball over the endzone line for a td.. but a guy carrying 3 players and bobbling the ball is a touchback? Garbage. Fix that rule to be more specific.
  5. To be fair - the ignore feature on here is kinda tricky
  6. Ehhh because of his draft status, and past success - every other WR in the NFL other than Amari Cooper, is outshining zay.
  7. Watkins has been doing nothing, and gilmore didn't play this week. Gilmore will be in NE next year - Watkins likely will not be in LA. They have a franchise tag, but at this point i don't think they'd use it. He's on pace for 40 catches for less than 600 yards and 5 TDs. He'll make more money on the open market so I don't think he'd sign a mid-season extension. Jeffery and Pryor are the only other big names hitting free agency, so he's likely to get overpaid. I'm sure there will be some cuts/surprises, but everyone wants WRs and he's in that upper tier with regards to free agents. For LA Donald will hold out again if they don't give him dareus money, and their best DB is a free agent. With woods, Kupp, austin, cooper already under contract - it might not make the most use of their abundance of cap space to tag a WR.
  8. What are my expectations supposed to be? We're a team built to play tight games, with a QB who struggles when we're losing. We have like no receivers, and are getting bit by the injury bug. 8-8 +/- 2 in either direction. Balls bounce our way we can maybe do 10-6. If they start to bounce the other way, we're probably 6-10.
  9. Pierre Garcon wouldn't be traded because he's in year 1 of a 5 year deal. The dead cap would be like 15 million, so we'd have to overpay. Why is SD trading Keenan Allen? They're 2-4 and are a couple missed FGs from 4-2. The AFC is full of teams that have 2-4 wins, so why are they out of it? 9-7 probably gets in - that would be 6-3 the rest of the way.
  10. So a 2019 3rd round comp pick... pick 100 of the draft basically... Or pick a 2018 2nd round pick... a full year earlier and likely pick say 50.... Thats a fair amount of value. Plus we got a corner and dont have to worry about comp picks and a net loss etc in free agency.
  11. Made a few really nice third down passes late in the game. He also threw a big deep ball on their long drive. He does occasionally make the easy ones look hard. Cam looked incredibly off last night fwiw.
  12. I turn that up field if i see that much open grass... i might even put a hand up so he throws it
  13. They weight the plays in DVOA - so a 9 yard run on 4th and 10 isn't a positive play and a 2 yard run on 3rd and 1 is a positive play. Factors in the opponent as well.
  14. I'm sure Mcdermott is heavily involved in offensive game planning. I just don't think he has anything to do with the playcalling during the actual game.
  15. We have the same record, or better, than all of the teams with those receivers.
  16. Jalen ramsay will be shadowing him this week too...
  17. He won't go to the packers though... their entire team is basically homegrown. They showed some inclination to improving their trenches with vet's, but its usually lowball offers for guys who've been around the block a while.
  18. They traded a 2nd round pick and a player for 1 year of him... they can't possibly franchise him can they?
  19. At the time we had Zay, Matthews, and Boldin with a healthy streater who was actually looking like a solid roster contributor. It wasn't a great situation, but they wanted the 2018 2nd round pick more than the POSSIBLE 3rd round comp pick in 2019 - a full year later and probably 30 picks later. That's a significant difference. We also got gaines in the trade, who's actually been pretty productive so far.
  20. We have 8 million - and it carries over into 2018 as it stands now. The WRs available in free agency are not NFL caliber at this point. Trading picks is counter-productive to what we are trying to do. Wouldn't you rather have 8 million in 2018 cap space for free agents who are actually coveted players? We also have a bunch of injuries so a lack of roster flexibility without releasing someone, or IRing someone.
  21. You're right - we have a DT and OT who don't play gobbling it up. You have to care about cap hits when your predecessor fouled it up so badly. We added Percy harvin when our WR corps was hurt last year - that worked out really well. We gave him a million.
  22. I wouldn't do any of those things. I don't want to move a pick for a WR who has a large cap hit moving forward (benjamin) , and i don't want to sign players who didn't participate in a training camp (jackson/barnidge). Do any of these guys have familiarity in Dennison's system?
  23. I think the goal is to build something more sustainable. We have 20% of our cap tied up in a lazy DT and an OT who's developing an injury problem
  24. Can you do that if you're trading them though?
  25. Very difficult to bring in salary while absorbing dead money.
