  1. I think that was a money issue. He would've had a job, and seeing how many lousy QBs have started so far this year - he'd have started some games. Yates is currently starting for Houston - we couldn't cut him fast enough.
  2. I mean - if he starts i hope we win. Same as TT. I prefer a W vs. a stranger on the internet eating crow... but thats just me
  3. I just don't subscribe to the opinion that Peterman is better than Tyrod right now. He may be some day. Any argument to the contrary should point to their stats this year. A Tebow-level completion percentage, and 5 picks in 50 passes.
  4. Right - who cares if he's ready (he already showed us he wasn't)?! Trial by fire! It's ok for a rookie QB to not play that well. He'll get more chances... probably even this year.
  5. Now are we still in this BS hypothetical conversation where they're both healthy? In the actual current state of affairs this isn't happening - so why discuss it? I'd personally not start a post-concussion rookie with no game prep or practice.
  6. I'm basing my opinion on the fact that one has had good games at this level, and one has not. TT has practiced with the one's all year basically, NP has not. The locker room seems more behind TT than NP. And clearly that had an effect on the team in that LA game. The players practice with Peterman all the time, and I don't think that they want him to start going forward. They believe they have their best shot with Tyrod. In a playoff race, this shouldn't be lost on the coaching staff. NP may still have a bright future in the league, but he has done nothing to justify going to him if they are both healthy (which is kind of a dumb thing to argue about, as neither of them are healthy).
  7. Can Peterman even practice/gameplan/film study? Cuz if he isn't cleared for football activities by today or tomorrow this conversation doesn't really matter.
  8. Now i know this doesn't fit the topic - but can peterman even practice right now?
  9. Both wasn't an option, but thats the route i would go. Bring in a Bradford, McCown, Keenum, Smith (probably not a Cousins, that pricetags very high) - and then draft a guy. Philly basically already did this with bradford, because you have to sign a free agent first since the draft is so much later. They ended up recouping a 1st for Bradford, which I don't think we would be able to do - but it'd be a much better QB room than we've had in a very long time.
  10. Well he isn't a great route runner, so i would do a lot of hitches and outs. With a QB like Tyrod he's going to make his money in the red zone. Assuming he can even play. Pretty much, a few good players here and there sprinkled among a bunch of try-hards.
  11. Not giving up on him. Just don't think i need to see him during the playoff race. He'll be here next year, hopefully Tyrod and Dennison are not.
  12. Don't love the guy, just don't see the reason to put a rookie in when we legit already tried it and he blew it.
  13. Kamara's been killing everyone. Weeeeeeeeee probably shouldve picked him - instead of rolling with friggin tolbert. Ingram killed us that game too lol.
  14. He's legit done nothing for us as a team. In preseason or regular season, to justify taking another players spot. The previous game between NE and Miami, NE ran for about 200 yards. That was what, 2 weeks ago? The other option is a rookie - who has not played well yet at this level of football. In fact played so poorly as to get benched in 1 half. It's not like we have a HOFer waiting in the wings. We are a team without a QB.
  15. Every week is different, every matchup is different. They've won 2 in a row... after losing 5 straight. Who knows what they are.
  16. Why am i developing him in a playoff race? He's legit done nothing to earn a spot. He got extended preseason time and did nothing with it. He got a start and pissed it away, and since then hasn't done anything.
  17. He played pretty well against Seattle in prime time last year. As for this year - I thought he played really well against Denver, Oakland, Tampa and the week 1 game against the Jets. Considering his preseason and how much time he missed i was surprised he looked competent against the jets.
  18. 5 picks. in a half. Why do you need to see more?
  19. I dunno, anthony lynn? rex ryan? reggie bush? and no love for 5 picks... hard to believe?!
  20. I didn't say he runs like shady, I'm saying in a garbage game like that the best athletes will win. He's faster than Peterman, he throws better on the run than NP and Webb, and he's generally hard to tackle in the open field.
  21. Yeah - like admitting the guy has had some good games in the past, and made some really good plays. I don't love Taylor, but I really don't think Peterman is the answer. Maybe he becomes something someday, but right now I think we need to invest in a solid QB and a rookie in 2018.
  22. No... I didn't say that at all. I said he's got quick feet and a low center of gravity. Which he does. I was then told that being quick and elusive doesn't mean anything in the snow. So I mentioned that ya know... McCoy moved pretty well in the snow as a quick/elusive player.
  23. I actually feel like the one off his receivers hands was NPs fault. At least partially. Watching it at full speed he threw that thing way too hard.
  24. I'd like an offensive coordinator who has a bit of creativity too
