  1. I don't even bother, I just do everything I can to avoid arguing with or hitting this guy. Just an uncomfortable person to be around... and he likes to razz me about the bills/sabres... making it all the worse. You haven't been to a game in like 25 years! Go to 6 a year and tell me who the real fan is!
  2. I'm married to a pat's fan. She's fine honestly... her dad on the other hand is an insufferable POS.
  3. You dont get anything if you dont use them. Clocks stopped anyway, so why not take a look at what theyre looking to do, and get a breather.
  4. watching revis in his prime, he was really tough to get open on. you couldnt beat him deep because he would cut you off, and he was always like glued to your hip.
  5. If it helps get the pass game going... we might actually have a chance in games where we need a score late in the game.
  6. Should be good for a screen. They'll just assume that's his lousy blocking attempt.
  7. He's 25, and has played pretty well so far for a 7th round draft pick. Needs to learn to step up in the pocket more, and step into his throws. He keeps fading back and floating passes and he'll be a backup before long. I don't see top end starter in his future, but i see him as a journeyman plug in starter.
  8. Doesn't seem to take a lot of shots. He seems to be improving on how best to get Tyrod working though. Deeper drops, more shotgun, more play action, some zone read concepts.
  9. He's not a part of the team, yet he criticizes them to the media. It's not a good look. No one from the actual team made a critical statement, or caused a rift in the locker room. The former QB who retired 20+ years ago did. If you want to be on the sideline and be a helpful mentor, you're more than welcome. If you're going to be on the sideline, push an agenda, and make it about you.. maybe you shouldn't be on the sideline. Your time has passed...
  10. The fact that anybody would get upset over someone not standing for a song... is the most ridiculous thing. How does it affect you?
  11. I think the big keys are to tackle well, pressure ryan, and stop their run game.
  12. Their secondary had a very bad day. He had 4 for 60 in their second game. They also shut out the falcons in 2015, and gave up 13 points in the 2nd meeting.
  13. Can't turn it over - need to keep them off the field and win on 3rd downs.
  14. I don't think that was his zone. He was looking behind like three times to make sure the safety was there
  15. I guess...? They have a DT who will hold out, their top CB, top WR, and starting MLB are all UFAs. They have cap room, but not a ton of picks and only 1 tag to guarantee keeping any of them. The players who are "high priced and no longer key pieces" don't have talented depth ready to step in because they've spent so many picks to acquire players. So cutting them just creates holes. Quinn and Brockers are both still very good, and i wouldn't want to lose both barron and ogletree. That's like the entire guts of the defense. They already tanked after dumping bradford in 2015. Then Drafted their rookie in 2016. They're essentially on year 3, and we're on year 1. So they should be better...? They're bringing in talent and vets, we're shedding them for picks.
  16. Trumaine johsnons is a UFA, Ogletree is a UFA, and Donald will hold out again for a huge raise. I don't know that they can even pay watkins let alone tag him. We beat them last year, and their defense was actually playing well then. Their passing game seems improved, but its a young QB and i'd expect us to nail down the run game and pressure him.
  17. We traded watkins... so i guess we dumped him. Woods was a UFA and got overpaid based on his accomplishments in years 1-4. So sick of hearing about these trades!! It's over - move on. As for Rob Ryan - you're a failure. Get on with your life - the NFL dream is over for you.
  18. We found plenty of cheap young players who can play - lawson, poyer, white. We're giving guys opportunities - humber, gaines, jones. We're accumulating picks - trading watkins, darby, ragland. You don't always build a winning culture by going 1-15. They've added a bunch of picks, and are trying to both have ammo to move around the draft, but also inject a bunch of young talent into the team in a single year.
  19. They felt that the offer provided was too good to pass up. That to me indicates that they weren't franchising him, and didn't see him signing an extension prior to hitting the market (since we passed on his 5th year option already there was probably a 0% chance he negotiate during the year). We're rebuilding, and don't have a QB. Does a WR make that big of a difference this year? Not really. Could he next year? Sure - but there was a good chance he wasn't here next year anyway. There's a decent chance he still hits the open market. Ogletree, and Trumaine Johnson are both UFAs too. I guarantee the players behind them are not as good as Woods/austin/kupp...
