  1. It was a day to run the ball... he's an elusive runner with a low center of gravity. He would've done well in that weather IMO. Tyrod has made MANY more plays than both peterman and webb. Stop kidding urself dude.
  2. If he's so good why has he never had like a single good game? In preseason or regular season. He threw 10 passes in terrible weather. You can't use this film to determine anything. I think we win yesterdays game EASY with TT.
  3. 5 picks in 49 attempts. He can't handle a blitz, and makes mistakes. Hes struggled when you take away his first read, and he's also been baited into picks. I don't think we can afford to have a game just get completely away from us because of turnovers.
  4. Peterman threw 5 picks in LA, and now has a concussion and will likely miss practices all week.
  5. I didn't really think he did THAT well. He completed 2 passes on a scoring drive. He also missed a few throws high. They clearly don't trust him that much if they put the ball in Webb's hands on a 4th down.
  6. They have won 1 game in 2 years. I think it's hard to say they're heading in the right direction. Do you honestly think that they won't screw up this QB pick?
  7. Most of the time we're out of the playoffs, and its 30 degrees and snowing. I wonder why attendance would be down.
  8. I mean.. they have a decent amount of starters/contributors from the last 2 drafts. garrett Ogbah Nassib Schobert Peppers Kindred Kizer Devalve/Njoku Coleman Coleman Gonzalez Louis/Higgins I think they were supposed to suck this year - they're trying to build some talent the only way they can. They signed a few free agents, but it seems like its wheel spinning money. Britt has 18 catches on a 32 mil deal. Added some O-line free agents as well, but make no mistake. This is a very young team built to lose.
  9. They value a rotation on the D-line. He has played well in the run game and is usually there for cleanup sacks. Don't remove depth just to remove depth.
  10. Good for Wentz dodging that bullet. Your team would probably still be terrible, and he would probably be ruined if he went there. The drafts overseen by brown weren't actually that bad. It was the 3-5 years prior when they missed on like every pick. That's the reason that they are terrible - its not the current GM or current HC. Heres a list of browns first round picks from 2011-2015 Gilbert, Mingo, Manziel, Richardson, Weeden, Erving, Taylor When you miss on EVERY 1st round pick for 5 years - you tend to have a lot of holes.
  11. I'd go the Eagles route here. Sign the best guy you can in Free agency... and still trade for your QB. Decent chance someone comes calling for a solid QB if your rookie can take the job from him. They traded all those picks for Wentz - got one of the picks back in the bradford trade. I don't think we'd necessarily get similar total compensation for it, but we'd probably recoup something if we felt the need to move on.
  12. This is a weaker QB draft? I think the top guys seem just as good as the last few drafts, and there's a decent amount of mid-level guys with more talent and intangibles. Nobody will come out without something of an issue. Wentz struggled with deep passes, Goff didn't play under center/played in a spread - same as Trubisky and Watson. That makes scouting that much more important. Beyond all of that - COACHING for your QB is clearly really important. I don't know that we have good guys in the room right now, and i don't know that we have in the last 15 years.
  13. Either an edge rusher or a good pass rushing DT to push the pocket is an absolute must. Both will make a lawson/hughes/washington look a lot better stat wise.
  14. I mean... i can blame it on him a little bit when we have a QB who is clearly more comfortable in shotgun... taking snaps under center. A QB who likes to buy time, and you have him throwing rhythm passes. Or a team that clearly runs power and traps very well... running outside zones for 1 YPC and leaving us in constant 3rd and longs. I think TT has been terrible for the last 5 weeks, and generally just serviceable. But this OC has killed any chance the O had of succeeding.
  15. We have soooo many holes. It becomes a problem filling them when your QBs cap hit is absurd
  16. A drafted QB is sooo much cheaper for 4 years. You can build the rest of your team through that, so I'm opposed to signing a FA QB unless the price isn't too high. I'd like to bring someone in to compete with the rookie. Someone like a Chase Daniel, or McCown if the price is right. I say focus on the QB this year in what looks like a solid deep class. Use other picks this year to focus on the offensive and defensive lines. With KW likely done - and the mediocre play of our O-line, it's pretty clear we are going to need upgrades along those areas. Protecting your new asset should be a top priority. The young QBs who are succeeding right now have had hefty investments on the oline (Dallas, LAR, Philly, Oakland etc). After that- getting after the QB is like the 2nd most important part of football, so keep going after pass rushers.
  17. Right? 5 picks - nuff said. He didn't really do anything when he came back in garbage time either.
  18. Yup. Don't want to build around a flawed qb. Don't want a bad oc coaching a rookie
  19. I find him to be overrated - jmo. I guess tanking kinda sorta worked for them... But i don't think the guy wins a super bowl in Indy.
