I heard they were preparing to cut Lee if they couldn't find a trade. They still need Dline help.. and they have like 1 cornerback who doesn't suck. And he kind of sucked last year. The guard Osemele and Mosley are the big pickups. Crowder has flashed, but he also is hurt every year and has the highest fumble rate of anyone in football. Josh Bellamy is basically Chris Hogan. Barr is - tricky to evaluate. He was a good pass rusher in college - maybe it was a poor fit with zimmer's defense? The knock on him coming out was that he was a tweener defensive end, and needed polish to play LB. He also didn't have a ton of moves at DE relying on elite athleticism, and its doubtful that after 4 years of playing LB that he just developed better pass rushing moves. Could work out I guess - I just see it as middling sack numbers and good games against inferior opponents.

At this point DeVante Parker makes sense to me.

Good ones have been signing extensions. Or they're still on rookie contracts - JuJu, Hill and Thomas. Basically if you draft a top dog receiver - you do everything you can to keep him. -

Underwhelming - but the cupboard behind wallace/johnson/white was pretty bare so I get it. -

Ugh. I hate this. I slightly hate it less seeing that he averaged 4.6 per carry a year ago. An upgrade over Ivory - but I want to see them turn this offense into... an offense. Not a run and punt offense. -

I love how people put up the "there's nothing to do there" argument. 90% of the time people are just at home, watching TV, or playing around on their phone. I can afford to go on 2 vacations a year - I own a home on a relatively modest income - I can get drunk places for like 25 dollars if I so desire - 2 Pro sports teams if that's your thing. There's a really neat bar scene here, lots of good food choices, shea's if you like live theater. The only thing I wish was that there was a better music scene. Rapids theater is awful, and the town ballroom is too small for mid-tier acts. The local bands also all mostly kind of suck. Not much original stuff coming out of here, and we don't bring in a lot of good stuff. But the "nothing to do" people never really bring up the things that they do. Is it like - boating? Do you boat a lot? Or hiking or something? Cuz if all you do is go to bars on the weekend (as most people in boston/ny/miami do) then you can do that here. Hell you can do that pretty much anywhere. -
I dunno - his complete lack of turnovers seems to prohibit tanking. You would want an interception machine if truly tanking. I would think fitzpatrick would be a better choice. Move parker or stills - or both. Fitz easily puts up 20+ picks, the total lack of pass rush, and the presence of Kiko should be enough to get you to 2 wins.

Yeah - can't turn off the salary cap though...

He was the one i most wanted - but im not approaching it anywhere near khalil mack in trade compensation. -
Yeah - they don't have a ton of high picks in 2019 and will need some more comp picks in 2020 so it makes sense to go after a cap casualty. Suh, Joyner, Saffold, Anderson, Fowler - that should net them a few in 2020 though.
