  1. They only have 3.3 mil in cap space for this season - so they'd be limiting their ability to sign players to replace players on IR.
  2. I guess I'd move McCoy? I don't think there's a market for him though. His base salary is 6+ million, so a team would be on the hook for 3-4ish. I don't know that a ton of teams have that kind of flexibility/want to spend that much on a back. Would have to be an injury type of situation and a team's convinced he can help them make a run. Theoretically we could take salary back - but most teams at this point have trimmed off any bad cap contracts. Same goes with Benjamin - cap hit is 8.4. Thats what 5 million for 10 games? Who would pay that after what we saw in week 1? Also who would want that scraped off your salary cap? Clay is basically the same thing. Probably wouldn't trade williams/lorax because the value you get won't be very good, and they're good locker room guys who can help coach up the next locker room guys.
  3. Dennisons the oline coach. He may be fine at that, but we couldn't exactly demote him. And he was just terrible calling plays.
  4. Yeah - that would help. They seem set on Kerley this year in that spot. Hopefully the returns improve on week 1... hard to get worse?
  5. Re Little - Could always move dawkins to guard, and draft a new center in the 2-3 rounds. It's not like - wonderful amazing line. but it will be better than this dumpster fire. RE WR - the free agent's are not good. The best ones get extensions not released. Benjamin looks bad and i'm glad they didn't extend him. Honestly they need a slot guy to get open quick, or a scat back that does something similar. This is the guy you find when you don't have time.
  6. I have to go Peterman. Numbers don't lie - he may be one of the worst all-time statistically.
  7. Look at the bears - Robinson and gabriel are new - drafted miller. Still have White who has been injured.
  8. I mean - sammy and darby for gaines, matthews, and 2nd and 3rd round picks. That's not bad considering watkins isn't on the rams, and darby isn't an all-pro... Not yet anyway. even if he is that means he'll get paid... he's a UFA next year. Lets not say he was like solely responsible for their super bowl victory either... they gave up 500 through the air in that game. Hurt for half the year - i do remember that.
  9. Schmidt doesn't exactly have a line of suitors... why can't we just bring him back if this guy sucks?
  10. Man it would have been great if he just threw rodak through a table
  11. Same with Lorax.
  12. They added some receivers too so maybe flacco won't be as bad this year too. Collins just doesn't jump out at me.
  13. They won't have their #1 CB for the game or their 1st round pick. Their offense doesn't impress me honestly, but their defense will be a pain to run on. Since they have a stout D-line and solid LBs - I like the peterman start because i think the game plan will dictate spreading the field a bit more to try and take advantage of matchups.
  14. 4 of 5 targets for 72 yards and a PI penalty: https://www.profootballfocus.com/news/pro-refocused-new-england-patriots-24-jacksonville-jaguars-20
  15. 5 seasons of 10 plus TDs, and 4 seasons over 1000 yards receiving. Regularly catches upwards of 60% of his targets - as a downfield threat. He's one of the best to ever play the position. Also - if you line a corner up on him... wouldn't you just run the ball?
  16. Thought hes played fine so far. Hughes isn't getting to the QB either. Need some push in the interior.
  17. Jeeze just hold him at that point. Drag him down and protect ur Q
  18. AJ mcCarrons waste is fine if peterman starts with with a 614K cap hit.
  19. But we never got the franchise QB. We traded franchise QB assets to get a WR for EJ Manuel.
  20. They need to get lined up faster is the main thing. Helps recognize coverage, and helps assign the blocking. Millers 3 penalties killed some drives too, since short dumps won't get you anywhere on 3rd and 7+
  21. This only shows the sacks though - it doesn't show all the plays where he did get the ball out and still got nailed.
  22. Lotulelei is fine after year 2. Murphy after year 1.
  23. First wood retired - and most thought hey we'll be ok. Groy did fine in that extended stretch. Then we traded Glenn - fine we got dawkins who played most of his snaps last year anyway Then Incognito lost his mind... and it was like ok i think we have a serious problem.
  24. He did a good job adding cheap talent, but his drafts were poor - and he always seemed short-sighted. You have to balance that win-now philosophy with building for the future, and thinking about future cap ramifications.
