No - It's a bit hard to evaluate the player when the guys up front have been so bad all year. I personally don't think he can be a bell-cow ever again, but he can block better than like 90% of backs, he can catch, and he's a nightmare 1x1 on the outside. That type of player is incredibly useful in the NFL today. Why cut him? Are we starved for cap room?

Best Cornerback in the Game!
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to Halloween Land's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No fun league. -
I expect a game plan very similar to last weeks. Lots of motion to get linebackers moving side to side and to jump-start the running game. Occasional deep shots if they cheat up to stop the run. The keys going to be getting those first downs on 3rd and mediums. Protect the rock at all costs. On defense i don't think we want to get burned by Bortles legs again. Condense the field and contain Fournette - force Bortles to find spots within the zones, maybe mix in some man coverage if the pass rush is causing problems. Play fast and physical, and win the field position battle. Need a couple takeaways to shorten the field. I don't care win or lose or what that clown Ramsay says - I just want Allen to not be tentative and to let it rip.

Rules tend to favor the offense at the moment - defenses will figure it out. Tyreke hill is a rare dude in that he has tremendous speed, and is an impossible mismatch. He might be the best offensive weapon in the NFL, and has caused absolute havoc for defenses. Throw in Kelce who is a size/athletic mismatch, and Hill who is a pretty solid dynamic back. Watkins foot injury seems to be popping up right around the time it always pops up though... This might be the thing that maybe holds them back from getting out of the AFC. The Rams have the best O-line in football at the moment, the best running back in the NFL, and a ton of weapons. Having the best offensive coach in the game only makes this that much more apparent. If they can get their defense to get more stops they should be the best in the league. This was just a game of two incredibly loaded offenses with some of the best in the game. Kinda neat but i don't know that there is a trend of receivers running like sub 4.2 40's and creating incredible mismatches.

Off-Season WR trade market
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to billsfan89's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
John Brown, or williams from LAC are probably the ideal ones to sign imo. Adam Humphries could be interesting here. Crowder and Enunwa always seem hurt, but they also look good when on the field. Mckenzie i do like as a gadget type player, and foster is barely above practice squad level as a player. Thompsons 29 and on his third stint here. He's a guy to help you during the season but won't get much of a contract offer, and won't ever be much of anything. There will be cap casualties - and we have the cap to absorb bad deals and still get teams a pick. -
Off-Season WR trade market

Boyd's signed through 2019 for cheap. Perfect #2 for a big #1 in green. -
Peter King's FMIA Column for Week 11

its a pretty big room for like 4 people. It'd be weird if they were close together. -
There is no way we will beat the Jaguars
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to Cygnus99's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ha... Or emotional loss! 16-0 at that point. I don't think they gained another yard Their dline should dominate our oline and ours should dominate theirs. We don't have a number one receiver so I'm not really super concerned about ramsay- just avoid him completely. -

Jags line isn't very good. We won't have to blitz much. Also the game is in buffalo- I wouldn't say anything is guaranteed. We're also coming out of a bye week and they'll be coming off an emotional win and possibly looking past buffalo. A buffalo win wouldn't surprise me at all. -
Is this a playoff team with Tyrod?
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can point to only 1 game where we may win instead of lose. That'd put as at 4-6. If we lose some close games down the line maybe? but we're still a sub.500 team at this juncture with him on the team. -
Plus you get a look to see if he's a fit. Holmes and Benjamin aren't making names for themselves, and will be gone. Clay hasn't either. McCloud is a rookie and hasn't been much of anything. Foster will be back but he's depth at best at this point in his career. This is a chance for him to carve out a role, and possibly earn some playing time next year.

Is No. 1 Ranking Legit or a Mirage?
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Only major projected losses would be Kyle, Lorax, and jordan philips. I think any of them could be back next year - or other players could be brought in depending on FA and draft. Should be a good unit in 2019. -
How about Matt Barkley huh?
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to Brianmoorman4jesus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't think a single person here has advocated for getting rid of Barkley. He's still here - he's still practicing. What i saw yesterday has an absolute CEILING of Case Keenum. I don't think you can win a super bowl with case keenum, and as far asi know that is the goal. -
Kelvin Benjamin needs to be cut
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to TwistofFate's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah - couldn't trade him for anything. Even if he gets a 1 year junk deal it still counts as the net player lost. However if you look at the players that we have on that list... https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/ufa/buffalo-bills/ - and the likelihood of something of a spending spree. I don't think 2020 comp picks are in the cards ? -
The Best Team in the NFL is......
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Feeling like that time they won the super bowl and just ran through the league. -
I just look at it like - this team isn't crazy talented - or crazy young. If we can snag the next donald or cox or something. Go for it.
-
I think it depends how FA goes. If we can get a WR in FA, or if we can get a C or OT in FA it might be beneficial to get BPA.
-
Who needs foles or wilson - we got TJ graham. Very tentative - looks like Tyrod more often than you would want in a starting QB.
