  1. Pilates work too. Considering he's a wide receiver too its kind of important.
  2. Gore's the insurance policy, but i could see all 3 of them getting around 100 touches. Depends on your opponent, but look at NE. Michel was the "bell cow" with 209 carries, but White also had about 200 touches and burkhead followed with another 75 (only played 8 games due to injury). NE had a top 5 rushing offense without a single back going over 1000 yards rushing (white had almost 1200 total yards). I don't know where each of Buffalo's guys stacks up in that regard, but McCoy has the most experience being split out wide and is toughest for a LB to match up with 1x1 - so he would make the most sense in a white-lite role. Gore is your mainstay running back, and singletary probably has a little bit of both. He's not going to line up out wide, but you can do a lot with him and he's still tough to match up with. Considering how much i think we're going to split our back out wide, it makes sense to hang onto McCoy just because it can help the O go. Yeah - Everyone's cutting a lot of people in a couple of weeks. No one is actively searching to add people in a trade at this point unless its someone you take a flyer on at a major position of need. If AB doesn't play i guess i could see them calling about zay? but i doubt it. They likely wait to see who's free before they look at trading something. Same goes for running back.
  3. Brown Jones Beasley Roberts seem to be locks. Foster gets more time with 1s than anyone else so it really comes down to McKenzie vs Williams. And Williams probably ends up on the PS if I had to guess. He could conceivably sign elsewhere too but that's my guess.
  4. Likely just hangs on the practice squad. Which is where he should be.
  5. His spot is safe, all reports from practice are that he has looked very strong
  6. He plays special teams as well. Core teams players have more value than 6th wide receivers who don't play...
  7. 20.4 million. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/mitch-morse-16773/ They whiffed on QB quite hard. Also traded 2 firsts for a wide receiver. Traded a 4th for bryce brown. The entire 2016 draft. Not to mention whaley didn't get along with legit any head coach we brought in.
  8. From a cap perspective yes - but from a cash perspective i think they have insurance for things like this. Someone here probably knows more than I do. 20.4 was guaranteed. He got about 11 of it this year. If he were on IR this year, and retired next year we would be on the hook for the remainder of the signing bonus, and 2 mil of his 2020 salary that was guaranteed at signing. Assuming they do it like they did with wood, they'll figure out if they want to eat it in 2020 or spread it through 2021. At that size (9 million) we'd probably spread it over 2 years.
  9. Yeah - i mean... had a great year ago. Wasn't drafted ahead of ramsey or Bosa. An argument could be made that he should have been in the top 5 picks. The trade-ups for QBs moved him down, but he's a really good player.
  10. He's missed time every season with injuries. Has 10 career sacks in 3 years. And is a backup in year 4. Also considering he was paid 10ish mil over 4 years he was overpaid considering his contributions. I would have preferred Myles Jack or Jaylon Smith in the 1st - higher ceiling players with injuries. Drafting for need got us a mediocre end, who was a poor scheme fit under that defense - and has a really low ceiling of a run stopping defensive end with mediocre upside as a pass rusher. We ended up trading up and drafting Ragland in the 2nd for a LB spot that Jack could've filled. Staying in that pick we probably could have drafted 1st round talent in the 2nd with Jarran Reed. We also used a 4th in that trade that could've been used for Prescott. So basically going need caused us to draft a pass rusher in a mediocre class. Then trading up to get ragland after a run on LBs caused us to lose out on prescott - who i can honestly say we may have looked at in that spot with Taylor on the final year of his deal.
  11. He's an average player that was paid a premium based on contract, and on the draft capital used to acquire him. Therefore its a below average selection in my opinion.
  12. I think he'll end up signing back here next year tbh.
  13. He was def. holding FG's in those years at least while also holding a clipboard.
  14. I think he moved up to backup in 2004 or 2005, but yeah, he definitely was PS in 2003. Not a long list of QBs for that. I don't think there's a reason to hang on to him TBH.
  15. If he caught it he probably wouldve taken a decent lick, but he may have also scored the TD. This isnt the 80s/90s - he goes head hunting and he's getting a penalty, a fine, maybe an ejection, possibly a suspension.
  16. I see people at my touch football league make that catch. That throw is fine. It's in a place where the DB cannot make a play on the ball.
  17. Disagree. That was an incredibly catchable pass. I don't know if he lost it in the sun, or feared the contact - but any wide receiver should be able to catch that pass. If anything leading him more might lead to a pick.
  18. Yeah - some nice little plays - picked up a 3rd and 10 and generally carried buffalo down the field on the first TD drive.
  19. Usually you hear about it on the grapevine - guess you'll find out soon if LA or Dallas is desperate for RB help on their holdouts. While they may call, i don't think we're advertising it.
  20. He was a pre-draft depth signing - sets you up to draft BPA by having brought in line depth.
  21. Nope. I agree with playing him at RG if it makes the best 5. Just sucks that the depth went from solid to really bad in a second
  22. It's tough - the Cowboys rely on zeke more and it'd likely be no new money in 2019 anyway. His option year is set at around 10mil, but he'll want to be highest paid at his position, so i would guess 16per year? But looking at Dak going from 2 mil to 30 mil, and Cooper looking for 20... gonna be tough to come up with the 55+ needed for all 3. Zekes not even in his option year yet either... Just a mess. You hit on a 4th round QB but when it comes time to pay him you have to gut the team it seems like. Gordon's interesting because... he's a good player, but hes not even close to as good as elliot. Worse YPC... Comparable Receiving numbers... More Miles... Missed time with injuries in 3/4 years... 1 1000 yard season. So its hard to evaluate where he should be paid honestly. Somewhere in the AAV between freemans 8.25 and Johnsons 13 - either way its more than the 5 he's set to make this year. Both are looking for large guarantees - but i tried to simplify and look at the AAV
  23. Ideally Ford becomes your backup swing tackle, but an injury to dawkins would then have ford at RT, and Nseke moving to LT, and another guy coming on at RG - thats 3 changes for 1 injury. Waddle has started 31 games in the league, including games the last 2 years. Our new 4th tackle could be one of wesley/mcdermott - who haven't even played 31 snaps in the NFL. I know its a depth spot but that's a considerable drop-off. Especially with the 3rd tackle possibly taking regular snaps at RG.
