  1. I feel like someones trading up for a QB or taking a QB in the top 10 that isn't the Giants. Washington, Denver, Cincinnati, and Miami seem likely candidates. If only murray goes in the top 8 - which would be bad for the prospects of a blue chip guy falling to us, we'd likely get the opportunity for someone to jump denver (Wash, Miami, NYG, Cinn, Oak) . Or move back 1 pick and snag some extra's just so that elway can get the QB he wants. I'd be happy in either scenario.
  2. Depends on the team construction i think - if you have premier players all over the roster it may make sense to go need to get a player that plugs in and starts but might never be a pro bowler. We are not that team - if you consider Allen, White, Milano/Edmunds and the safeties elite - or at least future elite... That leaves nothing for the trenches, and no playmakers on offense. With this particular draft very strong at the top with D-line talent, and a blue chip TE - those would be my choices. We don't have desperate needs for either, but one likely sits as the BPA at the time of our pick.
  3. Allen has to figure out the easy throws - and just generally get better about taking what teams give him. His pocket awareness improved a lot as the season went along, and he seemed to be making more good throws. He just needs to get those easy throws to shady/zay out with better timing and to the right spot. Darnold showed some improvement in similar areas, but it was less drastic. Allen was getting killed back there before the injury and was much better after. Darnold was better from the start in the pocket so the improvement won't be as huge. He had some nice games and some not so nice - but i thought he looked the part against Buffalo and he only had 170 1/1. Both should anticipate having pretty big years this year.
  4. It's tricky though, Green's 30 - has been banged up in 2 of 3 years and in the healthy year he didn't exactly blow the roof off of the league. He's also fairly streaky - has big games and stinkers. If I'm GM, I'd probably stick with him. The offense is sooo much better with him in there. They need help on defense more than anything else. Passing league and passing teams just absolutely carved them up.
  5. Was thinking the same thing - gives them speed at LB and they can play him wherever he fits best. Andersons a solid consolation prize, and would work well with Boyd. And pick 3 nets you williams or Bosa - or you could move down on draft day to stockpile more assets.
  6. Yeah - removing some of the deadline dates would make it easier. If its week 8 and the guy wants to negotiate he should be able to.
  7. Had a better YPC than fournette and hyde with jax. Cheap - nothing guaranteed... im good with it.
  8. Don't trade up - its not a QB and there's room for improvement across the roster especially depth behind our LBs and rotational D-line.
  9. Between this and all the o-linemen that Beane signed - we would have a complete offensive overhaul YoY. Between Metcalf, brown, foster - you have an insane amount of speed and even a size/speed combination that is really hard to matchup with. Assuming this was the pick we would be lining up WR1- Metcalf WR2- Brown/Foster WR3- Cole This would have zay as the WR5 - and probably trade bait at that point. Roberts sticks as a return man making mckenzie expendable. People seem interested in that duke williams character as well. If he has a good camp he makes zay even more expendable. At the same time - WRs are always hurt. TE- Kroft and a draft pick - Not sure where Fisher fits in here RB1- Shady RB2- Gore/Rookie LT- Dawkins LG- Spain C-Morse RG-Feliciano RT-Nsekhe With Long, Teller, Waddle as the likely 3 backups unless we draft someone early QB - Allen What are we returning... Dawkins, Allen, Shady, Foster, and Zay? Foster and zay now have to battle even to secure spots on the team - and the oline battle between those guys should be pretty interesting. Long seems likely to stick as a backup C and swing guard, and Waddle seems like a better option than the other 2 guys. Teller probably isn't active on gamedays unless he can win a job.
  10. Yeah - A major per-carry improvement from the RBs would be huge. I'd like to see a young guy come in and get some touches too and allow us to use shady more in the passing game.
  11. I mean... He was a rookie backup behind a future wall of famer
  12. Yeah I tend to agree - if you end up looking at the top 3: Kelce, Ertz, Kittle - Those are legit top 15 guys in catches and yards, and are big red zone targets. All of them are capable blockers too. If Hock's a great blocker and athletic enough to get to that level - it makes him a top 10 in the draft player. His combine numbers don't show some of his elite abilities in getting open and blocking either.
  13. Who are the blue chip players on Buffalo? This team isn't talented enough to get cute here - get the best player there. If there is top 5 talent that slips because of QBs, get it done.
  14. He seems to respond well in those situations - the only thing is i never see him making very many plays when he gets in the real games.
  15. Dawkins - Spain/Feliciano - Morse - Williams - Nsekhe (possible flip flop the Tackles) with Long backup C/G, Waddle backup T, Feliciano/Spain backup G Waddle also may not be active on game days as Williams kicks out to tackle if either of those guys goes down. Night and Day vs. what we rolled out there a year ago.
  16. I'm hoping that they're competitive in every game. You're going to lose games to teams you should beat (especially with a young QB), but I'd love to take at least one from NE, Philly, Pitt, or Cleveland.
  17. 2nd year QB - 2 diva WRs - rookie HC... what could go wrong?!
  18. If he was a top punter I'd agree with bringing him in. But he is no better than the other 2 guys we already have rostered, he's 30, and he would cost more than carter/bojorquez combined.
  19. The greek 2 me plate on sheridan/eggert isn't bad. The hot sauce isn't quite there though. Their food is just good in general. They have a breakfast one too - no mac salad and eggs/sausage or egg/bacon. Buffalo had a Macgregor's on Maple but it closed before i could ever even go. I assume they had one though?
  20. I mean - we added Andre Roberts, Maurice Alexander, and Senorise Perry. Carter vs. Bojorquez should be a nice battle in camp too. Whaley's gotta feel solid now - AAF is dead/dying and he hasn't even launched yet
