Assuming the ravens lose... and the patriots win after this week. That would put them 1 game back and us 2 and 1/2 games back from NE. The chance of them winning their division is higher than ours at that point. They have a better chance to win division, and at 4-4 would still have a fairly good shot at a WC because they would have beaten the colts to put them at 5-3.

We do play each other - so that would give them the head 2 head. They also would have a shot at their division with the ravens. Our division is not in play really so... we only have wild card odds

Yeah - Auburn with 2 losses in the west means they're basically out of it. Florida and Georgia can both get into the SEC title game (where they can really mess up the CFP plans) - but the next 2 weekends are going to elevate 2 teams really quickly with bama/lsu and georgia/florida. Oakland might work if they move on from carr for money reasons. Gruden probably loves him - he loves everyone.

Hurts? You're not wrong - even the teams they do play aren't exactly defensive juggernauts. I guess we'll see in the sugar bowl assuming they don't get to the playoff. If LSU and Bama run the table outside this week i think they both get in. Florida or Georgia could mess that all up though in an SEC title game. OSU/Penn State likely gets 1 in - which could theoretically get messed up with Minnesota in a title game. Clemson probably gets in because i don't see an acc team beating them. So i assume Oklahoma doesn't get in - that'd leave them with a tough SEC team that will likely determine teams view of hurts.

I mean Eli has been around, hes won a couple super bowls... i dont think he'd come here tho. He's probably done. Flacco maybe? He seems to have lost that QB clock in the last couple of years. Just can't get out of his own way.

Burrow looks gooood this year. Not sure what changed. I don't think he'll go 1, but if those 2 teams finish 1/2 he'll go 2. Seeing LJ and Murray do fine in the NFL makes me think Hurts could end up going earlier than originally thought. 36 total TDs already, he's a major dual threat issue. Lawrence probably sticks for another year - too much talent coming out and the 8 picks isn't exactly a great number to look at. At the same time, he shredded bama in the title game a year ago.. thats pretty impressive.

It's the draft - its a crap shoot. Jones had better combine numbers and college production - and was a senior. McD was at the senior bowl and spent a lot of time with those guys so i think he trusted his gut a bit more there. I think Kupp should be considered the miss there... he was at the senior bowl and we still went with zay. Yeah - hard to say now... can't force it. Thats how you end up with john ross and corey coleman. Can the guy get open? Can he catch? Does he have some moves? Cool. I don't really care how fast his 40 and shuttle times are tbh.

You don't want it to become a blake bortles situation and ruin what might otherwise be a very good team. Next season i expect to both draft someone, and bring in someone better than barkley to push allen. These guys should all be available: Bridgewater, Flacco, Winston, Mariota, Eli Manning, Keenum, Tannehill Obviously Tennessee, Miami, Cinn, TB, Denver, and to a lesser extent Chicago, and Pitt will be looking for QBs. Miami and Cinn are probably already drafting guys in the top 2 picks, and you also have to look at teams looking to improve their backups - but we should be in the mix there. As for drafting? Get me an accurate guy anywhere in this draft, maybe in rounds 2-5. It's Allens team, until it isnt.

They have had suuuuch a bad Oline for so long. They've spent 1sts in the last what, 2 drafts? 1 isn't playing to potential and 1 got hurt immediately. They traded for glenn who's constantly hurt. Just can't fix that unit no matter how much they try.

Yeah - what are the numbers for % of wins with QBs over 300 yards? Im pretty sure its about the same as the % of wins with QBs under 300 yards. Whatever happened in the 4th quarter was just a disaster in general. Starting off a garbage time drive with 2 false starts in your own house was the icing on the cake It really came down to that drive in the 4th quarter. We got whooped on a 14 play drive for 83 yards that put the game out of reach both clock-wise and score-wise. That's not ideal.

The Shaq lawson sack was basically all star as well. The LBs struggled to shed blocks all day in the screen game and run game. They barely attacked us in the air.

And when you look at what was accomplished in the pass game? Screens did most of the damage, and they caught us in man coverage on the bigger screen plays.

Sacks are high, which happens with rookies. Teams blitz them or fake blitz them pretty much the whole game til they show they can beat it.
