  1. Today there was the Knox drop and then the bad throw to brown that stuck out. I like a run on 3rd if u plan on going for it on 4th. Sack on a 3rd down in the 3rd quarter killed one. Offsetting penalties on another one, a failed swing pass to singletery and brown didn't pull in the contested slant. Seemed like they were blitzing on thirds too, had that one where he had to throw to Roberts and no one was open too.
  2. 9 guys along the LOS, no idea who's coming and who's dropping, clocks running, no chance at hard count/cadence, can't set protections... He said screw it, brown 1x1 and it's coming fast because rush is on. Yup. Walked right over em.
  3. Yeah that one was rough. Would need to see the film. I don't hate the late game check he made. Clocks running and you gotta make a play
  4. He's missing them for sure. I thought brown should've been on the sideline more for that fade considering the clock etc. Allen didn't have any time either. Brown needs to get that one.
  5. I think it's to help with the screen game... Where we have struggled a lot lately.
  6. Got rolled for 3 drives to open the game. Stops on the goalline make it better than it was. They struggled badly today.
  7. Now that I think about it though, clocks running. The 2nd down play screwed them. That and McDermott calling a defensive timeout when the clock wasn't running Yeah. Can't fix it midseason tho. Off-season priority I would think
  8. Read option on 3rd down might have been nice. Or an RPO. Keep the reads near the LOS and not throw the ball down the field
  9. We used it trying to get them to jump offside
  10. Sometimes that's by design. I throw to ur back shoulder so you turn ur body away from contact or a possible INT.
  11. Agreed. Allen missed Beasley on third but I may have tried to just... Get the 4 yards on 3rd, clock it to save the TO and try and get 10-15 yards so I can take a shot or something. Either way. Let's not forget the D giving up a 75 yard drive to basically lose it.
  12. They called the one and got PI early. He can't find the trajectory it seems. I know he got drilled on the McKenzie one, but you just need to float that more.
  13. Sure- they also passed up like 4 other fg chances. What's the deal with the other one he missed? Or the one against NE? Are we going to just pretend he's good?
  14. I know he didn't expect blitz.. that's on him. But not a lot of coordinators are jailbreaking there.
  15. I know he was hurt last year. But he cost us this game. And changed the NE game as well.. were also going for it on 4th down in lieu of 50+ yard field goals quite often..
  16. I didnt like that call on 3rd and 3 to not have anyone near the sticks.
  17. I dunno. Drove them down into makeable field goal range in under 2 minutes. Our kicker missed .. again... When Is 61.5 percent acceptable as a kicker?
  18. The play design has him looking right...
  19. Yuck. All day and every run was successful
  20. ... He broke his foot and injured his ankle already this year. I like him as a player, considering half the board was talking about cutting this guy before him ever seeing the field i don't think im wrong here.
  21. I feel ya - its not like he's going to be the reason we win this game.. I just get nervous of a gameplan that can get thrown out with a kroft ankle injury or something like that.
  22. They completely ignored the jet action receiver because they never hand him the ball, that was one of the main takeaways that I remembered. The switch calls were genius though, like - look at the play clock as soon as it hits X, run into position to blitz, switch to a single high safety look, crowd the LOS etc.. Either way, saints should've been there last year.. and probably would've won.
  23. Kroft hasn't proven an ability to stay healthy and smith is still a better option than sweeney.
  24. Yeah - He played less in this game as they made a commitment to running. Used more TEs etc.
  25. With Denver's QB situation you're looking at a strategy similar to that of Washington. I think we're going to pound the rock that game a lot... In a game where you think the other team is likely incapable of big plays and execution in the red zone it makes somewhat of sense.
