  1. H2H tie over Titans - so if they were to both finish 9-7 and houston wins that division it would be ours - assuming indy/oak/cle all drop a game. Exorcise that demon.
  2. I mean - 2 points is borderline pick-em game. The games in Pittsburgh, in primetime. They've won 4 straight at home, 7 of 8 overall. Their last 5 wins were by fewer than 1 score.
  3. 227 on the ground from OJ? dayum.
  4. Brown was open on the previous one where he waited for beasley to uncover. It was a sack.
  5. Signed before ford - was essentially replaced by Bates who also offers positional flexibility. Maybe gets brought back in to compete for the swing tackle job - would be cheaper than Nsekhe's 5.2 million dollar cap hit. Gotta load up on oline though since they get hurt.
  6. I mean - we all knew the oline was really bad in 2018. They signed Morse, Feliciano, Spain, Long, and Nsekhe. None of them save maybe Morse was guaranteed a starting job here either. Drafted Ford in the 2nd to try and continue to improve this unit. Kroft was signed to improve the TEs after finally getting out of the Clay contract. He got hurt and missed a ton of time - it happens. They also drafted 2 TE's in 2019 - Knox looks like he should be a player moving forward. WR's - what do you want here? We went from league worst pass catchers to somewhere... better than the worst WR room in the league. I don't think you can fix an entire unit in one year. Complaining about what he did in 2018 is a bit unfair when you include the fact that the team carried 70 million in dead cap that season. The only 2 big money additions were at positions of need. And when you look at who else was available it isn't like we swung and missed on some sort of all-pro defensive end by signing murphy and Star. We also were assumed by many in the league to have one of the worst rosters in the league... not exactly easy to bring in free agents.
  7. Depth...? People get injured in the NFL
  8. Because he really doesn't put the ball on the ground over the course of his career. He fumbles like 1 every 100 touches... which is actually pretty good. Singletary has 2 fumbles on 141 touches. So he would actually be considered more fumble prone. Then there is the example of sample size. If I don't think 141 touches is a large enough sample to label a player fumble prone - then neither is TJ yeldons 20 touches.
  9. I'm not against taking a TE if there's value there - but i do think we need to evaluate needs at RT, WR, and OLB/DE.
  10. Just feel like that positions lacking any type of home run threat.
  11. I will say this regarding them being 10-3 - they have beaten a lot of the same teams that the "can't beat anyone" bills have beaten. Against mediocre to good teams they're something like 4-3. Who dresses 3 WRs for a game...? Is this the Airforce offense?
  12. I actually think we need a speed back more than anything else
  13. I also dislike ramsey. The allen criticism aside - the hockey quote where he said he could make the NHL in 6 months... The guy doesn't want to tackle running backs, just imagine him on skates trying to battle in front of the net for position. Guy is a clown.
  14. Since they all occured before whistle would u only mark off 15 yards?
  15. I'd have liked to see a bit better scheming - bring the WRs in to create boundary space that the corners have to cover - bunch them to free up press coverage - jet motion to flat foot linebackers/safeties in coverage or get them moving out of position.
  16. I'm also fairly certain duke williams is NOT that guy.
  17. PI in the end zone on a hail mary.... SMDH Worst part is some down on his luck guy hit 9 out of 10 on a 10 game parlay and the one he lost was because buffalo didn't cover. Vinateri walked into the end zone for 2 points since we didn't line up.
  18. I just felt like - its too risky with them never overturning it. Id rather keep the Timeout which we'll need later
  19. Best way to beat a zero blitz is to just have - gronk. Or someone like that. You have no player that can beat him in single coverage. So every time you have him iso'd you know you have like a pretty good chance to get a positive play.
  20. I know next years schedule is projected to be more difficult - but i look at what McDermott and Beane are trying to build and i see a team like... Baltimore or Pittsburgh. Always contending, and week-to-week in every game. Thats the goal - no one looks at Buffalo on the schedule and pencils in a W.
  21. We schemed well to stop their run game. The busted play was probably one of the only ones i remember this year - and it cost us in this one. Going from down 10-6 to 17-6 in this type of game was absolutely huge. They only had 3 drives in this game, and 1 big play that was largely a communication problem more than anything else.
  22. Or they lose to miami and buffalo... and buffalo beats Pitt, NE, and NYJ. Buffalo then takes the division at 5-1 vs. 4-2.
  23. Maybe another ref - maybe an eye in the sky ref to assist. Either would help.
  24. They only showed the one PF on earl thomas where he kind of hit allen? But that was that weird play where allen was kind of blocking if i recall. The beasley PI was also questionable - I'm not even sure what really happened. No - but try that S--T again and I'm laying out LJ. I thought he had the ball and there was no whistle - what do you want?
