Kroft injured his ankle today
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Considering he's likely the most talented TE we have I'd probably say... don't do that? -
Minkah getting traded legit 1 year after getting drafted is bizarre to me. He was picked 11 last year, now you're getting... who knows in 2020? Stills is a #2 receiver - no point paying that guy, and if that helped get you any additional draft comp, good for them. He wasn't even particularly good - let alone someone thats getting you to the promised land. We all know whats going to happen.. it's miami! Splashy draft picks and burn through their considerable cap space to get to 6-10 or something.

Greg Roman Stole our play!!!!
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to Protocal69's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
His Kaepernick offense went to the super bowl and nearly won. It's an offense that works really well with a great defense. Typically a high sack rate but low turnover rate, and a top level rushing attack. Keeps throws to mostly hitches/comebacks and in and out breaking routes, with complimentary go routes. Not a ton of YAC plays but it makes ur QBs reads easy high low reads, uses the sidelines, and uses your QBs athleticism. -
Greg Roman Stole our play!!!!

His only issue is taking too long to get plays in. Was a problem in San Francisco as well as here. . Mcvays got his guys to the line so he can see what the defense brings and we had tyrod scrambling and clapping his hands to try and get a snap off. -
Singletary Update??
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to thronethinker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nothing at all - i think you typically would prefer to carry 4 active backs when 1 is a fullback only though. -
Is Singletary Daboll’s secret weapon?

Yeah - depends on health and the opponent. -
Is Singletary Daboll’s secret weapon?

My thing? Daboll has watched NE the last few years... Michel and Burkhead kind of form a solid 1-2 pairing. -
If Singletary is hurt... trade for Gordon

Gore and Yeldon for at least a week - No one has hit IR yet and its tough to carry 4 running backs and a fullback for an extended period. -
Bills vs. Patriots whose defense is better
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to PlayoffsPlease's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Most people had the steelers at least competing for a playoff spot, and they got absolutely thrashed by the patriots in every facet of football. -

Names to watch for the Oct Trade deadline

Looking like a WR rich draft next year - and its a position of need... so i would think the 1st is off the table entirely. -
I guess? I think a lot of it has to do with forcing the defense to make on the fly adjustments. They line up I or offset and see what they get, if they don't like it then motion. I know you can do the same thing with the TEs but we may prefer running out of I or offset I in those situations. Could also be something we saw on greggo's film that makes the checks really easy and obvious to read.

The idea is you line up with dimarco in the backfield with gore - if they give you a look you like you can just snap it. If they stack the box, or stack their line inside, you just spread it out and identify the matchup. Sweeney is not lining up in the backfield as a FB, so its a different look that you'll get.

Yeah - i thought i had strep and they told me mono... no treatment other than like tylenol and fluids. I assume he's got like a nurse at his house giving him IVs and stuff to try and get him ready as soon as possible. It's tough though, even as a QB he certainly has to be able to exercise.
-
I guess...? Sub 60% career comp% and didn't play a game last year. Not to mention... It's become clear through 1 week that they have to be able to attack down the field or their offense gets stuck in the mud.
-
Worst part of mono for me was how food just tasted like crap. I couldnt imagine lifting and exercising daily at the beginning though.

Zay Jones blocking ability - I’m impressed
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with this sentiment. He's sort of like Josh Reed. He'll make some plays here and there, but its seeming more and more like he'll never be THE guy. Had issues with drops, and just doesn't seem like he's jumping off the page as this always open dude. It's nice to see his blocking has improved though. I don't really know what I'm expecting from the 37th pick anymore tbh. The jets are cutting 3rd rounders and we're giving meaningful playing time to 7th rounders and UDFAs. Total crap shoot at this point. However - he's a starter at a position that has a notoriously steep learning curve. Do i wish we had drafted JuJu? Yes. I'm also not going to lose sleep over it, teams miss on stuff like this all the time.
