  1. They're not going to trade him. Obrien gets fired before ownership lets him trade watson. Also - he posted song lyrics as an immediate response to a friend getting traded. Its an emotional response but i don't think he like pissed anyone off by stating it.
  2. I remember he had that big catch in the bengals game that changed the entire tone of the game. It went from "same ol bills" choking a lead against an inferior opponent, to the new bills who can take care of business.
  3. Big fast dude - Career catch rate of about 50% which doesn't really scream nuanced route runner.
  4. This guy became a professional athlete...
  5. He seemed like a guy who was primed to break out and just never did.
  6. I mean... The most popular twitch channels are bringing in a couple hundred thousand viewers. Espots have also become more and more of a thing in the past few years. I don't think it works as a direct sports simulation though, Id rather see the best gamers play games against each other. Watching 2 pro madden guys go at it is pretty entertaining honestly.
  7. I mean... you do need some time to substitute, call plays, etc.
  8. The NYJ one was the one that was really like - how did they win this? Cincy and NYG to me showed how much they could stand to improve the offense, and that go for the kill mentality that they need to develop. I felt the defense really exposed mariota as Tyrod 2.0 in the week 5 game, but they missed 4 FGs. 2 from inside 40... The 4th one made no sense - guys 0 for 3 and you're down 7 with 6 minutes left in the game... why would you kick a 53 yard field goal? As for the browns game... yuck. Bad 4th down calls, missed FGs, and the rare stinker from the defense.
  9. It's something you work on outside of the season imo. You can't break habits like that midseason - practices are for installing gameplans etc. He just needs to learn to hold the ball against his chest.
  10. It depends where the evaluation puts haskins in relation to Tua, Herbert, Love etc. If you think Tua is better, you should probably take him. You won't get value for haskins - but if you fix the most important position on the field you will be forgiven.
  11. You aren't wrong - but theres no guarantee lawrence is yours next year. It's just suuuch an important position. You can figure some of the other stuff out as you go along.
  12. I mean - he's probably done. Thats unfortunate.
  13. He's a day one starter and its not even close imo. Had more passing yards than Wash st. qb on 180 fewer attempts. Isn't a 1 trick pony who relies on his guys for YAC, if anything his ball placement and ability to buy time created more YAC for them. Athletic enough to be a threat with his legs. I was always impressed with those touch passes on crossers, and to running backs.. set his guys up for big gains. His deep ball always seemed really solid too, great touch. Oh and there's the big game feel - I know stats aren't like... everything related to QB and draft grades... But in the 3 biggest games of the year he averaged... 70% comp, 435 yards (on 42 attempts), and 6 TDs (16 through the air and 2 on the ground). Really impressive. I don't think I'd trade the pick. I think you can build something with him - assuming he's going to show up and play for you.
  14. Well.. he's probably the greatest every to suit up at the most important position on the field so... you make exceptions.
  15. Woof. If those are your starters... im running the ball.
  16. His injury last year was a big problem... they used 4 different kickers last year. He also wasn't great when kicking. 4 missed xp's on 15 tries. He had a rough year in 2018 too. He's 35 and wasn't consistent anymore... unfortunately it was time to move on.
  17. Who knows how they do it now... considering its probably going to be on a basically closed set.
  18. I think the chart doesn't really work for high first round picks. Teams are squeezing a lot more out of those picks it seems.
  19. I would agree. He's late to the party so he didn't want to be standing when the music stopped. I don't think he's looking for another free agency next year though, i think this is an attempt to find a new home. He wasn't going to get a multi-year offer with corona preventing teams from doing the extended physical look, and this will give him a chance to reset his value a bit.
  20. Teams are going to say - what the rams did was a mistake. Agents are saying - genius gurley - hold out before the 4th year and force them to extend you. He got cut after what would have been the 5th year option... and more than tripled the income he would have brought in. I don't think teams will overpay backs anymore, but running backs are going to start renegotiating contracts if they're smart. It didn't work for gordon... but he also didn't basically win the MVP in 2017, and waited until he was limited by the 5th year option. Teams can cut you after 1 year on your contract - why can't you hold out?
  21. Johnson and love would be the odd men out if they draft someone in round 2 or 3. They need to push a veteran out of a spot in a heavily rotated position. To take murphys 3rd DE spot, they need to have flexibility to play both sides, need to be able to play rush and pass downs, as well as special teams. Both can be on the practice squad though
  22. Oliver, Phillips, Johnson... Butler is 25... Jefferson and Love are 26...
  23. Footsteps falco? There's still some job openings... Daltons still under contract, but no compensation needed for Flacco. New England, Jax, Chargers... etc.
  24. Good - hes motivated. At the end of the day, its an important year. Hughes, Addison, Murphys not a bad 3 man rotation. We have to have a rookie we like so much that we are comfortable cutting him.
  25. Great player - not best in the league and thats what he's asking to be paid. The injury history is very concerning though. Seems like he is always banged up, and always missing time.
