My Brother just won our fantasy baseball league last year with auto draft. He had Yelich in the 8th round and Bauer in like the 15th as keepers. But i went on a crazy run and won 15 consecutive weeks and lost in the championship. Wade Miley and the rest of my non gerrit cole/lance lynn starters just crapped all over my season.

Does he realize you can have more than one thing open on a screen, or more than one persons face on each screen in webex? 2 computers, tablet, land line. 3 monitors tops - 4 just gets too busy for me and you end up just stashing something like email or teams messaging. One for webex, one for email, and one for my actual draft info. But i'd have other stuff behind the webex and email because... they don't need to be open all the time. They have notifications indicating that you have an email or that someone's sharing screen in webex, etc. Cell phone for conference calls/trades, and a landline there simply to call in picks if the app fails. I'd probably want the biggest TV in my house set up with my big board - ideally a shared "living" file. If i could screen mirror to like a surface pro that would be ideal since touch screen would be good for that type of thing. Nice thing is Buffalo gets a test run since they have no picks on day 1. Also, did they have app developers create a like - official draft application? Does anyone know?

I just look at guys like Gerald McCoy, Kawann Short, Geno Atkins and their numbers during rookie seasons... its a lot to make a big impact at that position as a rookie. Wilkins and Williams both struggled to make major impact during their rookie seasons more than i felt Oliver did. Then realizing he came from a small school where he was playing nose tackle, and its a lot of change for him moving to 3T. I mean - he won the MVP the year before and threw 50 TD passes. He's going to be the highest paid player.

If you boost the practical guarantees and it's more likely he sees years 3/4 of the deal (guaranteed base salaries that trigger a year in advance), i could see it making sense for him to sign. I could also see them rolling with a tweener LB/S in the 2nd round and replacing some of his snaps that way moving forward. Depends too what they think they have on the bench in dodson/joseph. So there are a lot of factors.

I'm just playing "agent"/devils advocate. Wouldn't these players contracts make him want to at least be in that same area? Van Noy rushes the passer a bit more, but he could theoretically fall in the so called 3-down LBer role. I mean - he had a really positive rookie year i thought. His numbers aren't insane but again... he was a rookie. I'm hopeful for a good jump in year 2.

Yeah - a 5th in 2020 is a lot less valuable than a 3rd or something in 2021. Only select teams have cap to extend at this point. Miami could make it work, but they're also going to wait til the draft is over to see how big the need is there. 3 1sts is a chance to get a cost controlled DE across from Lawson, but its dependant on how this draft turns out. Likely they take a QB, and an OT in the first. DE isn't notably strong outside of young, and they have ogbah and charlton as options. Ngakoue is better than probably all of those options though, and the price is probably a lot lower than people thought. -

What you're saying is true. However, the relationship is broken. He has basically said he won't play there. If he signs and you fine him/force him to play... are you really going to get a team player with total buy in? No. Trade him now and at least you get a 2020 asset. If you wait too long you're looking at a 2021 asset post draft, or if he walks in 2021 a 2022 comp pick at best. -
Chargers now have the numbers on the helmets... so it kinda makes sense for them.

Right. Figure 1a/1b on game days with taiwan probably as a ST guy. Dimarco active every game though? That I'm starting to doubt with guys like Matakevich and Klein being added to help the special teams group. What am i saying? Adding a primary pass catching back to play the White/Lewis/Woodhead/Faulk style role could be in the cards. Is it Yeldon? I guess it could be, but I personally would like to see someone a bit more dynamic there.

You can't guarantee Dobbins... or anyone really at pick 54. The top 3 or 5 backs could get drafted. They're saying we're focused on the draft because they don't know if its a position of need til post draft. Also - if you could get devonta freeman for less money and no trade... its going to be hard to get anything for coleman.

Which QB do you want the phish to draft?

I'm not a QB evaluator so it's hard to say. I saw a lot of positives in Tua's game on the field - but i don't know how to filter the like... crazy loaded offensive line, RB's, WRs from his game. The rumored white board issues are also a red flag. I also watched Herbert play and was like... What am i missing? Where is the like, can't miss from him? I watched half of 1 wyoming game when Allen was there and he zipped an out route for a first down and I immediately thought "Ok i see where they're coming from". -
And what did he inherit from a prospect pool? Oloffson? Is that really it? The O'reilly trade is terrible, but was his hand forced? Do you fire him for that when TP may have made the final call? That kind of thing gets around if you do that. Let me emphasize that I don't think he did a good job. The Skinner move was alright. Hutton has been just terrible this year after a promising start, but they really need to fix goaltending. I'm just saying like... what does one even do to fix the middle six? Prospects don't show up in 3 years since they're all drafted at age 18. I think he's trying to take a more patient approach to a rebuild than what Murray did. Murray gutted the prospect pool depth for NHL players, and built a flawed roster.

They rolled a lot of hard play action a lot with Tannehill, and he was money on deep throws. With Gase he played in that offense that is very much driven towards short passing. In the playoffs, they didn't really need Tannehill to do too much. Defense was money with turnovers (3 of 4 TDs against Baltimore started on the Ravens side of the field), had a huge goal line stand against NE (and another huge penalty that nullified a big play), huge 4th down stops against Baltimore (4 turnover on downs), they limited possessions by running the ball so much, and Kern punted pretty well. I don't think their playoff wins are a sustainable strategy for success other than just, having a good defense. Sometimes you're going to need to put up points, and sometimes you need to pivot from running and play action (say being behind on the scoreboard).

Don't love the yellow pants, but its a good kind of different. I like the numbers on the helmets too - an interesting touch. The 2 color rush jerseys are unique without being over the top. Overall they did a great job.

All restaurants closed, all sports teams making 0 income, all hotels likely operating on a loss... Since he sold his company though, how much of his income is actively tied up in the US oil prices? I'm sure a large portion of his income would be tied up in hedge funds, as any wealth management person would emphasize diversification over pure investment in oil futures. I think he probably still owns oil rich land, but selling that now wouldn't be particularly wise. This is probably where his net worth comes from outside of the bills. I doubt anyone is currently buying when more oil is getting stored in warehouses than normal. Plus why sell something for 10cents on the dollar now, when it could be worth significantly more in like 5 years? So where's cash coming from? I don't feel bad for billionaires, and i don't sympathize with these issues. I'm just trying to rationally look at this situation and understand maybe why they're doing things the way they are. If they went from 1.9 million to -20 million i think i would probably fire a lot of people too... -

It's a lot more of the same of what the guys from the athletic have been saying on twitter for weeks. Essentially dragging them for the layoffs and everything going on at PSE. -
Yeah, the little jet motion pass is something they have done quite a bit of. I don't hate shovel passes in the red zone either. Low level of turnover - even though they counted one as an Allen fumble and confirmed it. I think i watched like 12 games of Brady's last year, and i watched him spike probably 50 screens into the ground. That may be a conservative estimate.

That's basically where I'm at. Keep dragging them Tim, it means nothing to me. I still like the bills and sabres. Possibly the only thing they own currently that might spin a profit in 2020.
